In this message Pastor Aaron talks about the progression believers make from their old life to their new life. He compares the progression to how a country song works when it tells a good story. VERSE 1 of the "song" is about our old life, while VERSE 2 speaks to the how Christ rescues us. And finally, VERSE 3 of the "country song" celebrates our new identity in Christ!

We're talking about the healing of the fundamental breach between humanity and God. This reconciliation occurred in the person of of Jesus. There, God and humanity met in one person. God coming over to man's side. Jesus lived out the faithfulness to his Father he had eternally as the Son of God. But now he lived it out as truly human. From our side, Jesus God's Son healed the breach by his obedient life.

Let's pray expectantly for the Holy Spirit to reveal God's truth to us, and may we respond in obedience to his revealed truth.
