Hey there, weather warriors! Dustin Breeze here, ready to tackle today's forecast like I used to tackle quarterbacks! We've got some wild weather brewing in the Big Apple, so strap in and get ready for a meteorological matchup!Let's break down today's play-by-play. We're looking at a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms this morning - talk about a defensive line of clouds rolling in! Patchy fog before 8 am will be our pregame warmup, but then we're breaking through to mostly sunny skies with a high near 79 degrees Fahrenheit. Southwest winds are going to be gusting up to 28 miles per hour - that's like a blitz coming right at you!Time for our Weather Playbook segment! Today, we're talking about something cool called cloud formation. Think of clouds like the offensive line of the atmosphere. Warm air rises, cools down, and those water vapor molecules start huddling together. Bam! You've got yourself a cloud. It's like water molecules running a perfect pass play in the sky! Now, our three-day forecast is coming in hot - or should I say, cool? Sunday's looking like we're drafting some increasing clouds, topping out near 69 degrees Fahrenheit with west winds up to 31 miles per hour. Monday? Sunny and crisp, hitting around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Tuesday keeps it cool with a high near 66. We've got some rain plays drawn up for Wednesday and Thursday - about 60 to 70 percent chance of showers. And hey, speaking of plays, remember when I said "Sun's out, guns out!" Well, today's forecast is definitely flexing some meteorological muscles! It's gonna be WIIIIILD out there, folks!Make sure to subscribe to our podcast for more weather action! Hey weather warriors! Dustin Breeze here, your meteorological MVP ready to tackle today's forecast like I used to take down quarterbacks! We've got a cloudy playbook for New York City, so let's break down these atmospheric plays!Right now, we're looking at overnight temperatures dropping to a cool 62 degrees with a slight chance of showers after 5 in the morning. Talk about a weather curveball! I'm calling this a classic New York City fog formation - it's like the sky is trying to run a defensive strategy.Let's dive into our Weather Playbook segment! Today, we're talking about patchy fog - nature's own magic trick. Imagine the atmosphere like a football field where moisture decides to play hide and seek. When warm air meets cooler ground, tiny water droplets suspend in the air, creating that mystical blanket we call fog. It's basically the atmosphere's version of a sneaky defensive play! Now for our three-day forecast - listen up, team! Thursday is bringing a 50 percent chance of showers with temperatures hitting near 67 degrees. Friday steps up with similar conditions, maxing out around 71 degrees. Saturday? Boom! We're looking at a high of 77 with a 60 percent chance of showers. Sounds like the sky is planning some serious precipitation plays!Any unusual weather phenomena? Not today, but these changing conditions are more unpredictable than a rookie quarterback's first game!Speaking of plays, here's my game day recommendation: Keep an umbrella handy and be ready for some atmospheric action! It's gonna be WIIIIILD out there, folks!Don't forget to subscribe to our podcast! Hey weather warriors! Dustin Breeze here, coming in hot with today's meteorological magic for New York City! We've got a playbook of precipitation that's gonna keep things interesting.Alright, let's kick off our forecast with an overnight situation that's more loaded than a blitz defense. We're looking at showers rolling through, with thunderstorms potentially making a surprise appearance after 5 in the morning. Patchy fog's gonna be our defensive line, with temperatures hanging around 60 degrees. East winds cruising at about 11 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation? A solid 80 percent - that's more coverage than a pro linebacker! Now, let's talk Tuesday's play-by-play. Showers are gonna be our starting quarterback all day long. We're talking morning showers before 8, then tag-team action between 8 and 2, and another round after 2. Temperature's gonna peak near 64 degrees with a southeast wind running 10 to 13 miles per hour. Rainfall's looking like a quarter to half an inch - talk about hydration!Weather Playbook time! Today, I'm breaking down cloud formation. Think of clouds like team formations in football. Just like how players cluster and spread, water vapor clusters and spreads in the atmosphere. Cumulus clouds? Those are your offensive line - puffy and substantial. Cirrus clouds? Those are your wide receivers - thin and high-flying!Three-day forecast coming in hot:Tuesday: Showery with thunderstorm potentialWednesday: Chance of showers, gradually becoming mostly sunnyThursday: Partly sunny with a 30 percent chance of afternoon thunderstormsAnd for our big finale - It's gonna be WIIIIILD out there, folks!Subscribe to our podcast for more weather action! Hey weather warriors! Dustin Breeze here, and let me tell you, New York City is about to get meteorologically magnificent! Alright, let's break down today's forecast like I used to break down defensive lines back in my football days. We've got a mostly sunny situation rolling in with temperatures hitting a solid 64 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind's gonna be doing some fancy footwork - starting northeast at 6 to 13 miles per hour, then shifting southeast in the afternoon. Talk about a weather playbook switch-up!Now, let me drop some meteorological knowledge on you in our "Weather Playbook" segment. Today, we're talking about wind shifting - it's basically when wind changes direction due to different pressure systems. Think of it like a quarterback calling an audible at the line of scrimmage. Wind doesn't just blow straight, it adapts and changes, just like a good offensive strategy!Tonight's forecast is looking like a bit of a wild card. We've got a slight chance of showers, then a more serious chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 at night. Patchy fog's gonna roll in after 5 in the morning. Temperatures will hold steady around 59 degrees Fahrenheit with a southeast wind at 8 to 11 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation? 50 percent - coin flip weather, folks!Three-day forecast play by play:Friday: Partly sunny, high near 76Friday Night: 30 percent chance of showersSaturday: High chance of rain, temperatures around 72Any unusual weather phenomena? Keep an eye out for those potential thunderstorms - they're like unexpected blitz plays in the weather game! It's gonna be WIIIIILD out there, folks! Thanks for listening, and for more info check out inception point dot ai. Cannabis is legal for recreational use in nearly half of all U.S. states. And, it's an increasingly common substitute for beer or wine. Numerous scientific studies back up the assertion that cannabis is less harmful than alcohol in terms of physical harm, dependence, and social harm. But as a new series by NPR's Brian Mann and Sydney Lupkin point out, safety is relative and highly dependent on where your weed is sourced. A trusted dispensary may be your best protection against contaminants.

Their ongoing Gordon Vickery Memorial Food Drive, which runs until December 19, is collecting canned goods for the Good Fellows Christmas Baskets. Simultaneously, the Kindergarten class is nearing the conclusion of their toy drive, supporting Patchy's initiative, on December 6th. In a heartwarming community effort, residents are contributing hygiene items and donations for teen bags as part of Patchy's Toy Drive. This initiative recently got a financial boost from winnings at the Good's Furniture Halloween Truck or Treat event. Looking ahead, excitement builds for the upcoming trivia night on December 14th, doubling as a fundraiser for the school. The event promises a festive twist with an ugly Christmas sweater contest, and participants can win prizes for the best ugly sweater. Meanwhile, the community is also gearing up for the lighted parade featuring a nativity scene with Visitation Students showcasing local spirit and charity.

Vaccines save lives. Yet the likelihood an older Australian is vaccinated varies hugely by GP. For some GPs, 90 per cent of older patients are vaccinated for flu. For others, only 40 per cent are vaccinated. For COVID, shingles and pneumococcal, the gap is even bigger. In this podcast, Peter Breadon, Health Program Director, and Anika Stobart, the Senior Associate, discuss their new report, Patchy protection: How to boost GPs' patient vaccination rates.
