Million Dollar Listing New York’s Tyler Whitman steps Behind The Rope. After a brief chat with Tyler about his start in Real Estate in New York City and how he went from being the new kid on the block at Triplemint to the leader of The Whitman Team - #keeprealestateweird - we get into what y’all wanna talk about, how he became one of our favorite agents to root for every week on Bravo’s juggernaut, MDLNY. Season Nine. Here we are. Tyler chats about some of the big deals, famous names, and drama we will see this season. Of course, some of the drama comes from his co-stars Ryan, Fredrik, and Steve who we break down on a variety of factors - best broker, biggest deals, biggest ego - ok you get the idea. Tyler opens up about how this season is different than all the rest which includes, in part, virtual showings as the world closed down and our first ever female MDLNY cast member, Kirsten Jordan. This milestone isn’t lost on us, nor is the fact that Tyler isn’t the new kid on the block anymore, both of which need to be discussed. Tyler chat’s about his West Coast Counterparts, our favs from MDLLA Tracy Tutor, The Joshs Altman and Flagg and The Brits James and David. Tyler opens up about sharing his dramatic weight loss with the whole world a la MDLNY and with all of our agents in committed relationships with babies on the mind, just what is the status of Tyler’s personal life? Finally, Tyler chats about the current state of the NYC real estate market, the best things to have come from being on Bravo, the Bravolebs he works and plays with, and what is next for Mr. Tyler Whitman.@tylerwhitman@behindvelvetrope@davidyontefBONUS EPISODES Available at - https://www.patreon.com/behindthevelvetropeThis episode is brought to you by STORYWORTH https://www.storyworth.com/velvet ($10 off First Purchase) MERCH Available at - https://www.teepublic.com/stores/behind-the-velvet-rope?ref_id=13198 See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Dr. John Sessa steps Behind The Rope. Yes, That John Sessa. Executive Director of Vanderpump Dogs. John Sessa, as seen at the center of “Puppygate”, the storyline which hijacked the entire Season Nine of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Thank you Lucy Lucy Apple Juice. Originally from a farm in Northwest Indiana, John never foresaw his current LA life of working with The Vanderpumps. Ok let us start at the beginning. John first met Lisa Vanderpump right after Giggy won “Reality TV’s Most Famous Dog” Award. It was during one of their first meetings that the idea for Vanderpump Pets was born. John explains how Vanderpump Pets, an idea which started with simple, ok its LVP so let's use the word simple loosely, dog collars grew into a real legitimate bona fide business. He also talks to us about how Vanderpump Dogs was eventually born out of Vanderpump Pets after Lisa Vanderpump became aware of the dog abuse taking place in Yulin, China. John discusses some of the current initiatives Vanderpump Dogs are working on, the process of how a dog gets “Vanderpuffed” once rescued and the infamous Vanderpump Dogs Annual Gala. Speaking of Vanderpump Dogs, John fills us in on the much anticipated “Vanderpump Dogs” Series and lets us know when we can expect to see the finished product online. We discuss who in the Vanderpump Rules cast he turned to for on camera reality TV advice and who in the Vanderpump Rules cast he is closest to. Of course, we discuss all things LVP from Villa Rosa, to what Lisa is like off camera, to what are the biggest misconceptions of Lisa and the rest of The Vanderpumps. Obviously, we asked John how and what he felt about being at the Center of Puppygate after uttering one simple sentence “It’s Dorit’s dog. She is with us again.” John talks about how The Vanderpumps are doing, when he last spoke to them, Lisa’s Podcast, the status of all of Lisa and Ken’s restaurants and what we can expect next from the great work that Vanderpump Dogs has been doing. @drjohnsessa@vanderpumpdogs@vanderpumppets@behindvelvetrope@davidyontefBonus Episodes Available at - https://www.patreon.com/behindthevelvetropeThis episode is brought to you by https://www.storyworth.com/velvet ($10 off First Purchase) Merch Available at - https://www.teepublic.com/stores/behind-the-velvet-rope?ref_id=13198 See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Max Boyens Breaks His Silence. Max joins us in this exclusive chat to discuss it all. Vanderpump Rules just announced it's cast for Season Nine and that filming will resume this month. As the BravoVerse knows, Max Boyens was terminated from the hit show early last year along with Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute and Brett Caprioni. Max stops by to break his silence about the circumstances surrounding that termination, a series of tweets from 2012 which resurfaced just after he was cast on the hit Bravo show. First things first, we NEED answers from Max and we GET answers from Max surrounding those tweets - how, what, where and why, for starters. We dive deeper into his actions and how that affected several minority groups chatting with Max about, not only the ramifications of his tweets, but how he now feels about those tweets and what, if anything, has he learned from this whole experience. After this difficult, but brutally honest and completely necessary conversation, we chat about the terminations of Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, Stassi’s “apology tour”, which included, but was not limited to, her now infamous appearance on the Tamron Hall Show, and her newly hired PR firm in an attempt at a, for lack of a better word, “comeback”. We also discuss the recent cast departures of Vanderpump Rules OG Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright answering the questions (1) were they fired and (2) if so, is it because of Jax’s actions regarding Faith Stowers. We discuss the future of VPR without Stassi, Jax, Kristen and Brittany, the many rumored Spin Offs (Think Babies, TomTom and VanderVegas) and the current state of restaurants SUR and TomTom as of today. Finally, we chat about Lisa Vanderpump’s involvement in this entire mess, when Max last heard from her, and where we all go from here. An episode not to be missed!!@issamaximillian@behindvelvetrope@davidyontefHear the FULL CHAT AT:https://www.patreon.com/behindthevelvetrope See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

It is the seventy-fifth episode of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast! Thank you to everyone who has been on this journey with me so far. I appreciate all of my listeners and the people who have watched my video podcasts. For this milestone episode, I am thrilled to welcome back to Jake’s Take one of my all-time favorite American Ninja Warrior athletes: Lance “Cowboy Ninja” Pekus. I first met Lance when the NBC reality TV competition visited Kansas City during the show’s ninth season. He was the first Ninja athlete that left me starstruck.By the time I met Lance Pekus, the Salmon, Idaho resident was on his sixth season of American Ninja Warrior. If you count Season Nine, Lance made it to Mount Midoriyama, the show’s legendary Las Vegas final round, five different times. In addition to his activity with American Ninja Warrior, he competed on both seasons of Spartan’s Ultimate Team Challenge and all three seasons of Team Ninja Warrior. Outside of American Ninja Warrior, Lance Pekus works as a rancher on his father-in-law’s ranch and is a research tech assistant. In this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Lance Pekus talked about his run on the twelfth season of American Ninja Warrior. He also spoke about his partnership with the National Beef Council.
Dear Diary, something important happened today--we started Season Nine! Carolyn and Vanessa are so excited to embark on this journey. We've come a long way, Baby William! In this episode we will take you through the dizzying highs of ethereal postpartum Scully and also guide you through the deepest, most watery lows of Xena, Warrior Mermaid. Thank you for coming along for the ride and we promise to make ALL the tangential pit stops along the way! It would be SO important to us if you would follow us on our social media! You can find all of our social media links, PLUS our new merch (just in time for the holidays!) at http://linktr.ee/notanotherxfpod
It is a pleasure to welcome American Ninja Warrior rising star and physical education teacher Sandy Zimmerman to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast. Sandy Zimmerman made her American Ninja Warrior debut during Season Eight. While she competed in Season Nine, injuries sidelined her during the show’s tenth anniversary season, but her husband, Charlie, ran in her honor. Sandy returned more robust than ever during Season 11. She became the first mom in show history to successfully get up the Warped Wall and hit the buzzer during the Tacoma/Seattle City Qualifiers. Thanks to her appearances on American Ninja Warrior, Sandy Zimmerman caught the attention of various media platforms. She made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show and was profiled on CNN Entertainment, E! News, The Huffington Post, and Women’s Health. Sandy also appeared on various podcasts, including Ninja Babes, Ordinary Champions with Austin Andrews, and The Socks & Soul Podcast with Kelly Ditto. Outside of American Ninja Warrior, Sandy Zimmerman has taught physical education for over 20 years. She also established the Ninja Fortress community in her backyard, where students of all ages can train for 40 different obstacles. In this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Sandy Zimmerman discussed competing on American Ninja Warrior’s game-changing Season 12, which included getting onto the Warped Wall for the second season in the row. She also spoke about the expanding Ninja Fortress community.
It is a pleasure to welcome one of my all-time favorite American Ninja Warrior athletes, Najee Richardson, to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.Philadelphia native Najee Richardson made his debut on American Ninja Warrior’s seventh season in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Despite falling off Snake Crossing in qualifying, Najee returned for the next season and began building a legacy on the show. He made it to Mount Midoriyama four seasons in a row (American Ninja Warrior: Seasons Eight through 11), and the closest that he made it to the end was in Season Nine, where Najee fell on Stage Three’s Ultimate Cliffhanger. He also competed on Season Two of Team Ninja Warrior and American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja. Najee Richardson also served as a mentor for two seasons of American Ninja Warrior Jr. In addition to his work on American Ninja Warrior, Najee is also an ambassador for the American Lung Association. In this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Najee Richardson talked about his American Ninja Warrior: Season 12 journey and the Ninja for Black Lives initiative.
Peppermint steps Behind The Rope. Miss Peppermint. A fixture on the New York City Drag / Queer Nightlife Scene, Peppermint’s star continued to rise when she was cast on Season Nine of RuPaul’s Drag Race where she finished as runner-up in one of the most talked about seasons in Drag Race HERstory. Peppermint takes us behind the scenes of Drag Race - what the casting and filming process was like, just how “hard” it was to make a great TV show, the other queens and what RuPaul is really like. Peppermint takes us on her journey of how her professional life sky rocketed after Drag Race. Part of that included a starring role on Broadway as Pythio in the epic Head Over Heels, a brilliant musical set to Go Go’s Music. Speaking of music, Peppermint just released her new album “A Girl Like Me: Letters To My Lovers”, the first in a Trilogy of new music, which includes the hit song “Best Sex”. Our look back at Season Nine of the podcast really highlighted how much growth we've experienced and how much more we have ahead of us. We turned over the selection of our roundtable episodes to our Steering Committee and Board of Director level Patreon patrons, and the results did not disappoint. Our poll selected episodes were as interesting and diverse as ever, and our patrons selected reviews also provided us with a chance to revisit some familiar names (Nirvana, The Verve Pipe, etc.) as well as expand the sounds and genres to include rock en español, symphonic metal, avant-garde noise pop, and much more. Every television show has a "showrunner" -- one person who sits at the nexus of the writers, directors, cast, crew, and studio and network executives and call the shots. As the showrunners for Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, executive producers Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper make the series happen. GateWorld recently sat down with Wright and Cooper at their home base -- the famed Stargate production offices in Vancouver, British Columbia! Thanks to the generous gift of their time and candor, we are pleased to present the complete interview in this 3-part series. For the first time ever, you can sit in on a conversation about the past, present, and future of the Stargate franchise inside the offices of the shows' creators. In part one of our interview, the executive producers reflect on the two shows' accomplishments in Season Eight and Atlantis's first year, and setting up a new enemy and a new environment for telling stories in Season Nine. (Beware of some minor spoilers for the new season's first three episodes.) They also talk about the very real necessities of science fiction television production, about which viewers are often unaware. GateWorld's interview with Brad Wright and Robert Cooper is available in MP3 audio format for easy listening. Part one about 15 minutes long, and is also transcribed below. You can also download the interview to your MP3 player and take GateWorld with you! Continue to Part 2 >> GateWorld: What is your overall opinion of Season Eight now that it's in the history books? Brad Wright: Season Eight? Robert C. Cooper: I don't remember ... it's a blur! GW: Let me just say that the second half, especially "Reckoning" through "Moebius," is fantastic. We loved it. RC: Thanks. I'll tell you, we felt like we ended the show. We felt like it was the closing of a chapter on Stargate SG-1. BW:: We thought we ended it three times even before that. RC: But this was the real ending! And in fact so much so that in discussing whether we were going to come back and do SG-1 Season Nine or a new show or whatever, we basically -- and the decision was made to do Season Nine -- we decided that regardless of the fact that we're continuing the same series, we're done ending things. We're not going to write another season that leads up to another ending. Season Eight brought startling revelations and conclusions to many storylines, including Anubis, Oma, and Daniel's ascension in "Threads." That's over! Ending the show is over. Because, quite frankly, it seems as though the show will never end. So instead what we decided is we're going to start beginning again. This new season, Season Nine, is much more about opening all kinds of new doors and starting fresh -- not just for the characters but with the storylines. BW:: The truth is it had to be done anyway because the Goa'uld are defeated and because there've been some big cast changes. RC: There's a certain point at which, yes, for some really developed fans who've followed the show from the beginning, "Reckoning" and "Threads" and "Moebius" really paid off a lot of things for the characters and for the plots and made you feel like watching the show for so long was really a satisfying experience. All these things were coming to a nice head and culminating. But also, Season Eight -- again, I think if there was anything wrong with it was it was a little bogged down in all the wrapping up in having to service storylines that had come from before. [It] in some ways alienated a new audience who may have been coming to the network, SCI FI, to watch Atlantis for the first time, tuning into SG-1 and going "Huh? What's going on? Who are those people? What's this storyline?" We couldn't do a long enough "Previously On" at the beginning of every show to explain to new viewers what was happening in this particular episode. GW: They seemed to be getting longer and longer. RC: Well,
Chris Judge talks about some of Season Eight's biggest episodes and SG-1 new lease on life in Season Nine.
Actor Cliff Simon sits down with GateWorld for an exclusive discussion about Baal's run on Stargate so far, from Season Five's "Summit" to what may lie ahead in Season Nine.
