for... revealing the depths of the Trump family tax crimes. This suit has not been reported very well in the media. Andrew has the breakdown, and the main takeaway that should be the headline everywhere this is covered. But that's not all the Trump related news! Indeed we've got two more stories somehow crammed into this episode. They involve two "bad documents" as we call them here on the show. The Dominion letter and the Eastman memo. One reveals the election lies were known bull shit and the other is a blueprint for a coup. Yikes.

Edna Lewis might be the most important American chef ever and few people knew her like her niece, Nina Williams-Mbengue. Nina was just 12 years old when she helped her Aunt Edna by typing up the notes for Edna's landmark cookbook, A Taste of Country Cooking. The 1976 book inspired the farm-to-table movement of later years, codified the classics of Southern cuisine, and documented the foodways of Freetown, Virginia, the settlement founded by Edna's grandfather and other individuals who had been freed from chattel slavery. Nina shares what her aunt was really like, her memories of summers spent in Freetown, and what Edna would think of the legacy she left behind. Don't miss this special episode. Nothing makes memories like smashing your family into a mini van and driving across several states to go see some old rocks or whatever. This week we challenge each other to remember some specific memories and also welcome our Niece and Nephew to share some of their memories as well. Mostly we agree that human memory is fallible and mostly what we think we remember is the stories about the trips that our parents repeated. Janet Behan carries on the family tradition of creativity in both her acting and writing. The London-born daughter of Dublin-born playwright Brian Behan & Celia Behan, great niece of the songwriter Peadar Kearney (author of Amhrán na bhFiann, the Irish National Anthem), and niece of the writers Dominic Behan and Brendan Behan. On this serving of The Stew, she tells of a deprived but happy childhood “that took a bit of recovering from” and how “playing the fool” to ease family tensions led her to the stage and screen. Trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama , she is known for her roles in National Theatre productions and in the popular TV series EastEnders.“I've always had a fear of being ordinary, just an ordinary human Behan,” she says quoting her uncle Brendan. She channeled the spirit of her uncle in writing Brendan at the Chelsea which caught the eye of Adrian Dunbar who'd go on to direct and star in it's Lyric Theatre of Belfast production which earned rave reviews in an Off-Broadway run. Recently she realized she was old enough to play her indomitable grandmother, which she did in the recent film Kathleen and Me.Janet tells us of being too Irish for the English and too English for the Irish, saying “I think of myself as somebody who is always on her knees, begging and pleading to be allowed into Ireland...culturally and psychologically.”Janet Behan Links:TwitterLinkedInRepresentation

I'm from Akron Ohio I'm from an entertainment family so that inspired me to want to sing so I started singing and training at a early age... my grandmother Charlena Brown also known as The Lady with the Golden voice , my grandmother was one of the first female Gospel promoters so I started there . My uncle is Howard Hewett so I followed his steps and one of the first steps was if you want something go get it as he did we he left Akron and he went to LA, landed a gig with Shalimar. So I left to follow my dreams and went to New York work there I performed at the Apollo theater where I won three times after that I found a manager who then shopped me to labels and within three weeks I was offered a deal my mother wanted me to go back home to get my high school diploma I did that then went back to New York and made a deal with a Elektra records three things that was the desire of my heart was Apollo theater ,Soul- train and win a Grammy. www.TiffanyBynoe.com

Welcome to Dancing in the Kitchen podcast! Can you believe it's already June? The kiddos are out of school and lots of people are taking vacations again!! WOOHOO! Do you remember when you were a kid and you just did what made you happy? Did you run through the sprinklers in the summer or play in the rain? We need to grasp those moments of happiness and joy and hold on to them just like we're kids because tomorrow is never promised! So I thought we would Jump for Joy into June and talk with some fun little humans that have made an impact on my life, and then talk to some amazing people I've been meeting who are well on the opposite end of the age spectrum. I think someone needs to remind them that they have aged.. orrr…maybe not! Because they keep living it up as though they're kids. I love how everyone here has tapped into their inner child and lives each day to the fullest. This week's episode will kick off a series about KIDS and finding our own inner-child. Before I moved, I sat down with my great-niece Cecelia (we call her Cece) to have a fun little chat and can't wait for you to meet her! She's a soon-to-be 7 year old that thinks she is 17. I love her so much. I also love the perspective that kids have about food and what makes them happy. She tells me about her favorite foods, and her least favorite (we share the same dislike of a family tradition at our "feasts" as she calls it...aka, the holidays), and she tells me what she wants to be when she grows up. This was such a FUN conversation. I miss her already! We close out today's episode with a quick version of an exercise to help find your inner-child, and listen to what your younger self has to say. Stay tuned this month as we continue to tap into that practice of just having fun...like a child. ***** ***** Let's connect: Like the podcast? Subscribe and leave a review! At only 18-years-old, Carson Hocevar has already torn up the short track scene and is making a name for himself in NASCAR. He joins Davey this week (12:50) to discuss his career behind the wheel, starting in Michigan at Berlin Raceway, and why NASCAR had to make a rule change to combat him winning as a 13-year-old. NASCAR champion Johnny Benson has mentored Hocevar over the years, and Carson explains how Johnny’s help has been instrumental to his growth in stock cars. Hocevar details his journey to where he is now: full-time with Niece Motorsports, why he lost some confidence in his time running ARCA, how he regained it and why he’s just now hitting his stride with Niece in the Truck Series. Injuries haven’t stopped Hocevar in his young career, either, as he recalls breaking his wrist in a wreck but finishing the race one handed. Plus, how he powered through the end of a Truck race with heat exhaustion. Despite not being known for dirt racing, the late Bryan Clauson had a profound impact on him. He explains why that is, how the information afforded to him in NASCAR is good to have, yet overwhelming at times and which races are left on his bucket list to win across the country. Davey also recaps Hendrick Motorsports’ dominance at Dover and Alex Bowman’s second victory of the season, previews NASCAR’s inaugural weekend at COTA in Texas and more.

My friend David Woods (early 60’s) and his niece Bekah Clements (married mother of three, HR Director) share their story. David (who served a mission in Switzerland) talks about being gay in Utah, moving away from Utah and leaving the Church, developing a successful multi-faceted career, returning to the Church after being out for several decades, moving back to Utah (where he is currently serving as a temple worker and ward clerk). It’s a moving and remarkable story. David talks about the difficult road of being gay and LDS and how he did his best to move forward. Bekah talks about her uncle David and how we can better support and love family members regardless of their church activity. This podcast is a beautiful love story. David and I learn—in real time during the podcast—that we crossed paths over 30 years ago. Bekah, who is a Relief Society teacher in her ward, shares this powerful statement about the need for everyone in our congregations. "For our boat to swing in unison we need you if you have gay or straight children. We need working women and full-time homemakers. We need women with children, those coping with the pain of infertility, and those that will not have children in this life. We need you if you are married, single, divorced, or widowed. We need those who are depressed, those who deal with crippling anxiety as well as those who can lift the burden of those in the pit of despair. We want those who have a temple recommend, those that have never had a recommend, and those who are working to get to a place where they can renew their recommend. We need introverts just as much as we need extroverts in this boat. Those with strong testimonies, wavering testimonies, and those who have never gained a testimony belong in our boat. There is a seat in the boat for converts, investigators, and those who come from pioneer stock. We need those dealing with crippling illnesses as much as we need those in perfect health. We need women of all colors, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and political affiliations. If you can fight the fight we need you as much as those who can make peace. We need those whose husbands struggle with pornography addiction. We need you if you are overweight or stick thin. If you are suffering with substance abuse or can be the support system for someone who is, we need you on our team. We need those that cook and bake as well as those who support Door Dash. We need you if your husband is a righteous active priesthood holder, an inactive priesthood holder, or does not hold the priesthood at all. We need those with a million dollars in the bank and those who are living paycheck to paycheck. We need those who want to be in the boat as well as those who don’t. (from her FB post: https://www.facebook.com/rebekah.w.clements/posts/10158824393103810) Thank you David and Bekah for being on the podcast. You are two of my heroes!
