Keep winning! Two-time Emmy and Three-time NAACP Image Award-winning, television Executive Producer Rushion McDonald interviewed Michelle Taylor Willis. Interview Summary Interview with Rushion McDonald – Money Making Conversations Masterclass Interview Purpose The purpose of this interview is to explore the difference between success and significance, with a particular focus on parenting, leadership, community impact, and intentional legacy building. Michelle Taylor Willis uses her personal journey, civic leadership, and her guide Raising Significance to challenge parents and professionals to think beyond individual achievement and toward collective responsibility. The conversation positions success as a starting point—and significance as the multiplier, especially in how we raise children, build networks, and serve others. Major Themes & Key Takeaways 1. Success vs. Significance A central theme of the interview is Michelle’s distinction between success and significance. Success is defined as personal accomplishment—career, income, stability—while significance is about leveraging that success to change lives beyond your own. Key takeaway: Success is self‑contained; significance is outward‑facing and transformational. 2. Raising Significant Children Requires Intention Michelle emphasizes that significance does not happen by accident. Her guide outlines principles designed to raise independent, confident, disciplined, and service‑oriented children. These principles are meant to be instilled early so that giving back becomes instinctual, not optional. Key takeaway: If significance isn’t taught intentionally, it rarely shows up later. 3. The Role of Healthy Fear and Authority Michelle discusses the value of healthy fear—not intimidation, but respect for authority and consequences. This concept, often misunderstood in modern parenting, is framed as a safety and discipline tool that prepares children for real‑world structure. Key takeaway: Healthy fear builds accountability and keeps children safe. 4. Discipline and Consistency Matter Both Michelle and Rushion highlight that parenting—like leadership—requires consistency and follow‑through. Children must understand that boundaries are real and consequences are unavoidable. Key takeaway: Consistency creates security, discipline, and trust. 5. Fraternities and Sororities as Leadership Training Grounds Michelle credits her membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated with shaping her values around networking, service, accountability, and lifelong collaboration. These organizations provide built‑in support systems that extend far beyond college. Key takeaway: Purpose‑driven networks accelerate leadership growth and impact. 6. Significance Is About Service, Not Recognition Despite numerous awards and honors, Michelle makes it clear that recognition is not the goal—it’s simply feedback. True fulfillment comes from knowing her work has meaning and contributes to something larger than herself. Key takeaway: Recognition is validation; service is the mission. 7. The Power of Music and Early Skill Development Michelle strongly advocates for early exposure to music and structured learning, noting its connection to critical thinking, math skills, discipline, and brain development. She explains how musical training supports cognitive growth that carries into adulthood. Key takeaway: Early skill development builds lifelong cognitive advantages. 8. Significance Requires Community Mindset Michelle repeatedly reinforces that nothing meaningful is built alone. Whether parenting, leadership, or entrepreneurship, significance depends on strong teams, collaboration, and shared values. Key takeaway: The most impactful leaders think in terms of “we,” not “me.” Notable Quotes “There’s a difference between success and significance.” “Success is about you. Significance is about everybody else.” “Most people are comfortable being successful—but uncomfortable being significant.” “Healthy fear keeps you in check.” “If you raise children intentionally, significance won’t be optional.” “It’s never about me.” “Significance creates a domino effect that changes the world.” Overall Message Michelle Taylor Willis’s interview is a thought‑provoking call to intentional living and leadership. Through her work and her guide Raising Significance, she reframes parenting—and success itself—as stewardship. Her message is clear: the future depends not on how many successful people we create, but on how many significant ones we raise. In a world increasingly focused on individual achievement, Michelle challenges audiences to embrace responsibility, community, and purpose as the true measures of a meaningful life. #SHMS #BEST #STRAWSupport the show: https://www.steveharveyfm.com/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this episode of More Than The Bag, we confront a truth many don't realize they're living in—spiritual coldness caused by idolatry.Idolatry isn't always obvious. It's anything that takes God's rightful place in your heart—money, relationships, influence, status, or even your own desires. When these things rise above God, your heart becomes divided… and over time, you grow spiritually cold. This message is a call to examine your heart, break agreement with anything competing with God, and return to full alignment with Him.In this episode, we discuss:• What idolatry really looks like today• How it replaces God in your heart• The signs of spiritual coldness• How to tear down idols and restore God to His rightful placeGod is calling His people higher. This is not about condemnation—it's about transformation.Stay Anchored ⚓️

But there was a time before such organizations existed and were even regarded with scorn by university faculty. You'll want to rush or pledge this week's episode, underclassmen, all about the history of fraternities and sororities!

"The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting." What if the organizations so many celebrate as symbols of unity, legacy, and purpose… are actually part of something much deeper—something unseen? In this revelatory message, Pavielle Bee exposes how Satan has weaponized deception to make spiritual bondage appear beautiful and allegiance to darkness look like empowerment. Using Scripture and insights, I uncover a strategy the enemy has been perfecting for generations—a war waged in plain sight, disguised as community, culture, and pride. This teaching explores: ✅ How spiritual warfare operates through deception and agreement ✅ The hidden power of vows, oaths, and rituals many overlook ✅ Why some believers unknowingly defend what's actually opposing God ✅ How to recognize when you're part of something that looks godly but isn't ✅ The path to true freedom and spiritual clarity "The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting." — Sun Tzu The question is… what if that war has already reached you? In this episode of Joe Oltmann Untamed, we begin with archery badass Antuan Yancy, who reveals how bows, arrows, and brotherhood build unbreakable men in a crumbling society. Then we go to Mark Levin, who just declared war on free speech inside MAGA: “If you reject Judaism, you reject America.” He's smearing anyone questioning Trump's Israel-first moves as anti-Semitic – even going nuclear on Tucker Carlson for daring to talk with Nick Fuentes. Levin snarls that your “stupid little podcast” won't change the world, but social media is EXPOSING the lies daily. Americans are waking up: marrying U.S. policy to Israel isn't “America First” anymore – it's corruption on steroids. The distrust is boiling over, and gatekeepers like Levin are torching the movement from within. Tonight we play the explosive clips and ask: why can you savage the USA but get canceled for criticizing Israel? This is the red pill the GOP doesn't want you to swallow.Meanwhile, the swamp is imploding in real time. Gavin Newsom's former Chief of Staff Dana Williamson was just perp-walked by the FBI on bank fraud, wire fraud, and conspiracy charges – federal indictment in hand. Across the border in Arizona, Governor Katie Hobbs is literally sprinting from reporters as bombshell bribery and racketeering probes close in. Sunshine Residential Homes allegedly funneled $400K to Hobbs and AZ Dems for millions in state contracts. We've got the court docs, the dodge-and-weave video, and the tweets lighting up X. Built in the 1950s as USC's first fraternity dorms, the McBryde Quad saw its share of keg parties and frat boy shenanigans back in the day. McBryde's reputation for rowdiness eventually gave way to more serious conversations among its residents in later years. Now, as the last of McBryde's buildings are slated for replacement, it's an auspicious time to consider the long arc of McBryde's story.
