It was the news that shocked the motorsport world, and we have all the analysis on Triple Eight's move to Ford for 2026 and what it means to have Jamie on a stage alongside other Ford luminaries, like Christian Horner. On the track, we look at the Bathurst 12 Hour and BMW's one-two and plenty of big crashes. Jamie McFadden's win in the Australian Sprintcar Championship taking a very rare double. All the major motorsports championships around the world are closing in on their finals rounds, and all are trimming the contenders. Supercars and MotoGP are down to two, F1 is also maybe two but that is a stretch, and NASCAR still has eight… but only for one more week. So how did it all happen? We debrief Supercars on the Gold Coast and wins to Cam Waters and Brodie Kostecki, but a shocker to Chaz Mostert has left that title fight down to only Triple Eight teammates Will Brown and Broc Feeney with one round remaining. Waters said he wanted to be a nuisance, and he was. Lando Norris and Max Verstappen clashed again in F1, and this time the powers that be ruled a line in the sand under Verstappen's petulant behaviour and driving standards and the F1 drivers told the flawed Dutchman they are over it… We're loving the NASCAR Playoffs and can't wait for the cut throat Supercars Finals next year, but what would have happened if the series was using our Finals system as proposed weeks ago? Hint – Chaz is out of the running, but Brodie ain't. And if you are on the AC Delco site, use AAREVL25 for a 20% discount on all your parts. We're talking to Adam Macrow on the V8 Sleuth Podcast powered by Repco. In the last part of our two-part chat we talk about his title-winning Fujitsu Series season in 2006, the bold promise he made to seal the drive with Howard Racing in the first place and how a good word from Alain Menu helped get his foot in the door at Triple Eight. He also opens up on why a full-time drive never came his way and what he'd have done differently in hindsight. Adam did get one solo-driver round, however, and talks about how his unlikely opportunity with Team Kiwi Racing came about. He also tackles your National Motor Racing Museum Couch Racer Questions plus the traditional V8 Sleuth Top 10 Shootout. V8 Sleuth Superstore: https://superstore.v8sleuth.com.au/
