The grapes come from the Altima Estate in Elandskloof Valley, a secluded, cool‐climate vineyard in the Western Cape (Overberg/Cape South Coast). Cape of Good Hope Wines On the palate it tends to be crisp, energetic, with bright acidity and good minerality — often with a long finish. Some specific data from the 2023 vintage: Alcohol around 13% Total acidity approx 7.2 g/L with a low pH (~3.07) Residual sugar modest (dry style) ~3.7 g/L.
