Rob Saleh said, ‘we did a lot of really cool things this year'. The Giants dominated the Eagles in potentially Saquon Barkley's final game as a Giant. Nick Sirianni said nobody is quitting on the team because they ‘know how to freakin' fight'. Jameis Winston talked about changing the play from what Saints head coach Dennis Allen wanted. In the final segment of the hour, Pat McAfee calls out an ESPN executive for trying to ‘sabotage' the show. We talked about ratings for shows like McAfee's compared to views on social media.  Hour 3 Gio is feeling relieved that the Giants and Jets seasons are over. Gio actually bet on the Giants yesterday and it was a rocking chair spot for sure. Jerry did a 6-leg women's college basketball parlay. Gio has been seeing Theo Von clips on social media. We also took calls from people that enjoy the comedy of Jo Koy. C-Lo returns for an update and tells us Ron Rivera has been fired and the Commanders have hired a former Warriors executive to help with a head coach and football operations person. And the Panthers have fired their GM. Bill Belichick met with the media this morning and had zero information. He said he's under contract and will keep doing what he's doing. Rob Saleh talked about the adversity they faced and ending on a high note. The Giants beat the Eagles and many Giants could be moving on, including Saquon and Tyrod Taylor. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about NFL coaches that have been fired since last night. Gio brought up the Miami mall incident where there were rumored to be 8 to 10 foot aliens. It was teenagers fighting, of course. We talked more about Jo Koy hosting the Golden Globes.  Hour 4 CBS News is going to Vegas for the Super Bowl and will use the Bellagio Fountains as the backdrop. We talked about our upcoming trip to Vegas and whether we will be at a party on Friday night. Peter Schwartz will be out there for something called Sports Bash. C-Lo returns for an update and has audio from Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen meeting the media this morning. Schoen was happy to see the team did not quit and players did not mail it in and he credited Daboll for that. Daniel Jones' injury history came up as well. Gio called Jones ‘a wet paper towel'. Robert Saleh said the Jets did some ‘cool things' this year in exercising demons. Derrick Henry thanked everybody in the organization including the cleaning staff and the cafeteria staff that gets him his avocados. The Moment of The Day involves Taylor Swift's box. In the final segment of the show, the National Championship is tonight and Gio's rooting for Washington. He likes Michael Penix Jr. Gio tells the story of going to a National Championship game in Dallas, between Oregon and Ohio State. The Oregon Duck did a strip tease type thing to Brian Jones.

The Mets won and fans were having fun until the bullpen tried to blow the game. The Yankees offense is miserable. Anthony Rizzo is going through the worst stretch of his career. The Jets aren't going to show players getting cut at the end of training camp. If the Jets try to make things hard on HBO, that's when Hard Knocks becomes a distraction. Training camp isn't as demanding as when Boomer played. When will the Bengals announce this year's Ring of Honor inductees? Jerry is here and has audio of Saquon on the “Money Matters” podcast saying he has to think about possibly sitting out this season. Boomer wishes Saquon got a long term deal because he does everything for the Giants. Boomer wants to know what CAA told Saquon that made him switch representation. Le'Veon Bell apologized to Steelers fans for leaving. Boomer wonders if there's collusion among NFL teams to not pay running backs. The Yankees lost again and only had two hits. Mad Dog gave out the old WFAN phone number while opening his show yesterday. Francisco Alvarez hit two home runs and the Mets barely held on to beat the White Sox. 12 teams scored 10 or more runs for the first time since 1894. Gio doesn't believe the stats that go back that far. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer gives his review of “Quarterback” on Netflix. He says it shows Marcus Mariota is not cut out to be a leader. Kirk Cousins comes across well even though Justin Jefferson says he is not a top 5 QB. Hour 2: Gio wonders if Boomer knows the format of the show. Boomer had to get his hands dirty brewing coffee. Boomer catches up on the fallout from the Gilgo Beach murders. A caller's girlfriend interacted with the suspect not long before he was arrested. Jerry returns for an update but first, Boomer doesn't like how Jerry responds to a compliment and Boomer tells the story or Jerry on the golf course five times a week now. Boomer has an example of how Saquon needing to protect himself can impact the Giants. Boomer feels bad for Saquon. LeSean McCoy doesn't think much of Daniel Jones.
