Stockage binaire (emplacement, chiffrement, versions). Minimum pour démarrer (4 composants): Implémenter Path (représente fichier/répertoire). Étendre FileSystem (instance du système). Étendre FileSystemProvider (moteur, enregistré par scheme). Enregistrer FileSystemProvider via META-INF/services. Solution : Reciprocal Rank Fusion (RRF). Prérequis : IntelliJ IDEA 2025.3+, Node.js (v20+), Gemini CLI. Étapes : Installer Gemini CLI (npm install -g @google/gemini-cli). Localiser l'exécutable gemini. Configurer ~/.jetbrains/acp.json (chemin exécutable, --experimental-acp, use_idea_mcp: true). Meet Josh,Entrepreneur, community builder, and Dutch expat who turned isolation on the French Riviera into connection, and a thriving international community.Joshua moved to the South of France in 2018 with his wife, chasing a better quality of life, sunshine, and a slower pace. What he didn't expect was how isolating life abroad could feel, even in one of the most beautiful regions in the world. In this episode, we talk about the reality of settling into the French Riviera: navigating language barriers, adapting to a slower (very slow) pace of life, and the challenges of building genuine friendships in a place shaped by tourism and transient expat populations. how that experience led him to create Next Locals, a community-first platform born from simple meetups over drinks, consistency, and the desire to bring like-minded people together offlineFrench culture, the importance of making an effort with the language, the differences between Paris and the South, and how creating a “tribe” is what truly makes a place feel like home.

Meet Tracey,Relocation coach, somatic practitioner, and six-time expat who has turned “trying it for three months” into a life philosophy. In this episode, we explore what it really means to build home within yourself—especially when life (and identity) keeps shifting with every move.Tracey takes us through her first unexpected opportunity at just 16, the resilience she discovered in herself, and the massive identity shift that unfolded years later in Canada, where she learned that relocation doesn't fix what hurts, it magnifies it. We dive into her FEEL framework for processing emotions abroad, the five emotional phases of relocation, how to recognise when it's time to move on, and why true belonging has more to do with your inner landscape than your postcode. She also shares her favourite New York spots (get ready for tacos + crepe cakes!) and the expat song that anchors her to our shared humanity.Short, deep, and soul-stretching—this one is for anyone navigating the messy middle of expat life.Footnotes & LinksTracey's Recommendations in New York:Los Tacos No. 1 – Her go-to for some of the best tacos in the city.Lady M – For the famous crepe cakes (matcha is her favourite). Her Expat Song:“Streets of London” by Ralph McTell – A reminder of compassion, connection, and the stories we all carry.Resources Mentioned:Contact Tracey: www.traceyzhang.comTracey's FEEL Framework (Find, Express, Embrace, Let It Move)Her ebook: Five Emotional Phases of RelocationRelated article: Identity shifts abroadYoutube video: https://youtu.be/wPcHq5IiAqkFollow for more expat stories:

In this insightful episode, Doreen Cumberford and Megan Norton-Newbanks chat with Dr. Helen Fagan about the nomadic spirit, the challenging journey of belonging, and the importance of self-awareness for meaningful inclusion. Dr. Fagan shares her childhood experiences in Iran, her identity as a descendant of Persian Bakhtiari nomads, and how moving across countries and cultures shaped her worldview. The group discusses the internal and external facets of belonging - from the hard “homework” of self-reflection and letting go of limiting beliefs, to the practical work of including and welcoming others. Dr. Fagan describes the Intercultural Development Inventory, which helps people understand their approach to cultural differences, and highlights why most people remain in a mindset of minimization—focusing on similarities while struggling to engage with differences.Through open conversation and vulnerability, Dr. Fagan illuminates the struggles of cultural dissonance, TCK (third culture kid) experiences, and the paradox of being “interested and interesting.” The conversation closes with Dr. Fagan's personal reflections on family in Iran, the challenges of global unrest, and the importance of building belonging both within ourselves and our communities.Key Topics DiscussedNomadic Heritage: The Bakhtiari legacy; how a journeying spirit manifests both in moving and deep engagement with new places.Third Culture Kid Identity: Navigating cultural dissonance, frequent goodbyes, and the search for belonging.Belonging as Inner Work: The necessity of self-reflection, understanding one's core values and past experiences, and releasing old beliefs.Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI): An assessment tool that uncovers how individuals perceive and respond to cultural differences, often revealing the gap between self-perception and reality.Internal vs. External Belonging: Balancing personal development with actions that foster inclusion and belonging for others.Emotional Intelligence and Leadership: The intersection of neuroscience, emotional intelligence, culture, and leadership in promoting inclusive communities.Handling Global Hardship: Coping with uncertainty and trauma when loved ones are in crisis, and turning to trusted personal strategies and support systems.Community and Connection: Building bridges by listening deeply, sharing stories, and fostering both individual and collective belonging.Resources & MentionsIntercultural Development Inventory (IDI)Dr. Helen Fagan's books & leadership trainingBrené Brown on deep listening & belongingConnect with the GuestsDr. Helen Fagan: http://www.linkedin.com/in/drhelenfaganhttp://www.facebook.com/drhelenfaganhttp://www.linkedin.com/in/drhelenfaganThank you for joining Nomadic Diaries! The conversation covers generational differences, the power of cultural memory and rituals, strategies for fostering belonging across generations, and personal reflections on identity.Main Topics CoveredShared Cultural Memory & Rituals:Lois Bushong explains how rituals—like celebrating cultural holidays or maintaining family traditions—create a sense of safety and belonging. Welcome to the introductory episode of Nomadic Diaries, The Belonging Project hosted by Doreen Cumberford. Doreen reflects on two years of conversations with guests e.g. cross-cultural trainers, writers, therapists, and ordinary people who have lived abroad and returned or moved elsewhere. No matter the topic, discussions lead back to one fundamental question: Where do I belong?Key Topics & ThemesThe Belonging Project:Doreen launches a series exploring belonging, inspired by recurring themes from previous episodes. Belonging as an Active Process:It's not passive. True belonging means making life welcome—actively participating, saying yes to new experiences, staying curious, and stepping outside familiar bubbles. Global Perspectives:Perspectives from international teachers, third culture kids (TCKs), academics, and artists will appear in future episodes. There is a focus on how belonging varies depending on passport, heart, and lived experience, not just geographical location.Home vs. Belonging:Doreen raises thought-provoking questions: Are home and belonging the same? Can you have one without the other? What does belonging look like for you personally?Personal Journeys:Both Doreen and her co-host, Megan Norton Newbanks (author of Belonging Beyond Borders), bring personal experience to the subject. Notable Quotes“Belonging doesn't always look the way we think it will. Sometimes it's not just about finding your tribe - it's about shared activity, space, or connection.”“Making life welcome helps us belong. It's not passive, it's an active topic.”“Home can be everywhere and nowhere at the same time and just learning to be okay with that paradox is important"TakeawaysBelonging is a deeply human need, crossing borders and cultures.Creating belonging requires stepping out of comfort zones and proactively engaging with new environments. The podcast series will feature a diverse range of stories, perspectives, and insights from global citizens.Listeners are invited to reflect on their own journey toward belonging. What's Next? The next episode will introduce Megan Norton Newbanks, who will share what belonging means to her - from a TCK perspective - and the hopes she and Doreen have for the series.Support the showHome is Where Your Story Crosses Borders! We aim to inspire expat solutions, by helping you navigate global living with ease and grace.

Hosts' Feeling on Returning Home 主播回国后的感受主播Meimei在美国留学6年,她觉得回国后适应的过程很棒,but there are also struggles, too(但也有一些需要努力的地方)。 像“U-turn”这个词,she just couldn't find the word“掉头”来表示。主播Maelle也有同感,特别是当她需要switch (切换) between French, English and Chinese的时候,it's like the brain's stuck in translation(在语言转换之间卡住了)。 从另一个文化回到自己的本国文化中,language is definitely one of those first big challenges (语言无疑是最初的重大挑战之一)。02. What Is Reverse Culture Shock? 海归或者留学生们回家后,that's so special reuniting (重聚) with people you love! Sometimes with family and friends you haven't seen for a long time, it feels like nothing has changed (感觉什么都没有改变) - and yet, everything has changed (一切又变了). But at the same time, people are also at completely different life stages now (完全不同的人生阶段). Where you were, where you are now, how your experiences have shaped you (塑造自己). Through seeing people who knew you well back (曾经最了解你的人), it makes you realize (意识到) how much you have changed! And differences can be good (差异自有其价值), the uncomfortable feeling sometimes can be a reverse culture shock (反向文化冲击). 03. Home as a Fluid Concept Maelle has traveled to so many countries. Where do you consider home now (你现在认为家在哪里)? 对于主播Maelle来说,this is a question with a not so simple answer (不是那么容易回答)。在三种文化背景下长大,speak English at school, French at home, and surrounded (围绕) by Chinese culture every day, 主播Maelle认为she is a TCK, and the world is her home. Someone who grows up in a culture that's different from their parents' culture, usually due to (一般是由于) moving abroad during childhood. So your identity (身份) is formed through a mix of cultures (由多种文化的融合而形成的).主播Maelle表示:“When I moved to France for university, I felt like an outsider (局外人) there too. I looked like I belonged (归属), but I didn't feel fully French in the way people expected (期待的). After living in Spain, Australia, and Hong Kong, 主播Maelle表示home is not just one place. 确实如此,home is a fluid concept (家是具有流动性的)。 It is the people, not the place that makes us feel at home. 04. Beyond Comfort: The Growth in the Culture The restlessness craves for movement and new experiences. In English, we say “step out of your comfort zone (走出舒适区)”. It's risky (冒险的), but exciting and so rewarding (很值得的).Stepping out: 走出去;跳脱。Comfort zone: 舒适区。It is such a blessing (何其有幸) to feel at home in many places. To keep moving, growing. And take risks (敢于冒险), meet new people, experience new cultures, learn new languages and build a life somewhere so different from what we know (在与我们熟知的世界截然不同的地方,再次塑造自己的生活). It is so exciting! And of course sometimes it's also uncomfortable, but that's where the real growth happens. 比如在完全陌生的城市,navigating (导航探路) unfamiliar streets, learning to express yourself in another language, or sharing meals with people from completely different backgrounds. They open our minds and stretch our hearts It is not always easy of course, but it truly teaches us so much about the world and ourselves. 欢迎留言告诉我们:你是否也经历过这样的“反向文化冲击”呢?Have you experienced “reverse culture shock” like this as well?

Jim Grisanzio from Java Developer Relations talks with Bruno Souza, who is a Java Champion, leader of the SouJava User Group in Brazil, and a member of the JCP Executive Committee. Bruno received the first Java Community Lifetime Achievement recognition in October 2022 at JavaOne in Las Vegas. "I was totally surprised! I was jumping up and down! I was so honored! It's an honor to be a member of that group." he said. Bruno Souza is known as the "JavaMan" from Brazil and that nickname started back at Sun when Java was announced and Bruno started evangelizing the technology. Bruno's message to the community was "Open Standards and Open Source" as he began his community building efforts around Java. He continually brought to Brazil FOSS and Standards experts for community discussions, and he advocated for a standards-based Open Source implementation of Java that would pass the TCK. Bruno left Sun and then returned, and he also joined the JCP (Java Community Process). Now all these years later we have OpenJDK, and open JCP, and hundreds of independent JUGs that can participate in community building and also Java development. "Maybe my greatest pride, I think, is the idea of the Java User Groups community," Bruno says. "We have OpenJDK for development and the JCP for standards, but for me the real Java community is the Java User Groups! These are all volunteers who meet and help others participate and learn." Bruno in recent years has been talking a lot about building reputation and career by embracing the open-source lifestyle — writing code in Java, contributing to Open Source, and helping build the community itself. Since our work lives in public mailing lists and open-source code repositories, we earn credibility by being visible, contributing, engaging the community, and helping others get involve as well, Bruno says.  Bruno advises that career is a long-term project: "The more you work on it, the more you grow, the more results you have. So, the sooner you start the better. This is not a sprint! This takes time." Getting back to Java itself, Bruno, like most Java developers, prefers the 6-month release cadence over the older system of multi-year development and release cycles. There is a constant flow of technology now which allows for more interactions between the Oracle engineers and engineers in the community. "Everything you see today in Java is possible because of the 6-month release process. I just loved it when the guys did that! I think it's amazing! The fact that we now have two releases per year changed Java. I think we're positioning Java to be even stronger in the years to come. I'm very excited about the whole thing," Bruno says. Throughout this conversation Bruno provides a wonderful history of Java since he's been involved from the very beginning! "People don't remember that Java was a community from the very beginning!" Bruno says. “We were able to look at the source code from the very beginning and that allowed us to build the community from the very beginning with lots of other companies joining." And then the JCP was created to allow Sun and the community to discuss the standardization of Java. And then OpenJDK was a huge step because now Java would be everywhere with Oracle leading and building the community. "Java is more participative today under Oracle than during the Sun times." "Java + Open Source + Community: That's what grows our career. That's what grows Java too!" — Bruno Souza Bruno Souza https://x.com/brjavaman  https://x.com/SouJava  Duke's Corner Java Podcast  https://dukescorner.libsyn.com  Jim Grisanzio  https://x.com/jimgris  https://jimgrisanzio.wordpress.com https://www.linkedin.com/in/jimgris/

Michèle Phoenix returns to the podcast to share about her new book, Pieces of Purple, based on personal experience and years of ministry with children of missionaries. This is a must-listen for parents, caregivers, teachers, and friends of Third Culture Kids (TCKs)! Find Michèle's book, Pieces of Purple, here! “Even parents who have lived cross-culturally for thirty or forty years will never fully understand in an embodied way what it means to have grown up with all of these cultural and experiential and all of these other inputs shaping who you are.” “Being a TCK is indescribable. It is hovering darkness; it is glimmering light. May we embrace the wonderful as we wrestle with the hard. And may the God who cherishes His purple people reach through the layers that make us so unique to touch the parts that need His love and free us up to flourish.” “We need to tell our stories so that they know that there's an after picture and that this is not the end. We can be the embodiment of hope to them. We can point to other people [...] we know who have been through challenges like this and who have found their footing again.” “I actually believe that our greatest strength is in mostly belonging, not fully belonging. If we can mostly belong in multiple places, we become bridge builders and change makers.” “I don't think we realize how much just living in proximity to us is teaching the TCKs in our care about life and faith and holding the tension that we all feel.” What's changing our lives: Keane: Getting up earlier Heather: Daily devotional from the Worship Initiative Michèle: Learning about attachment theory and baking sourdough bread Weekly Spotlight: Schools serving Third Culture Kids (TCKs) We'd love to hear from you! podcast@teachbeyond.org Podcast Website: https://teachbeyond.org/podcast Learn about TeachBeyond: https://teachbeyond.org/
