The Women's College World Series started today, and thanks to a rain delay, BAMS will be running a bit late tonight! We'll be discussing the Tide's opening game against the red hot Michigan Wolverines in Oklahoma City. Cary, Drew and Thomas will also break down Alabama's path to the title game in what turned into an SEC-centric tournament. The ubuitity of football means that it isn't completely off the docket. John Garcia Jr. of Scout.com will join us to talk recruiting, and we'll also talk some of the things coming out of the SEC meetings down in Destin. The action starts at 9 tonight with Cary Clark, Drew DeArmond and Thomas Watts. Be there or be Auburn.

Produced by http://Fastpitch.TV - This week interview Coach Ninemire from Cal State.. This is an interview with Coach Diane Ninemire the head coach for the Cal Golden Bears. She graduated from University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1980. She played basketball and softball while in college. She continued her education at Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas. Coach Ninemire has wanted to be a coach since 4th grade. She played travel softball starting at age 10. She believes that youth should play many sports. She sees a lot of injuries of softball players that have over worked specific joints and muscles coming from playing softball all the time. She thinks they would see less injuries because you are using differnet joints and muscles, if softball/all athletes would play more than one sport. Coach Ninemeire has many softball accomplishments including 1,000 wins and winning the 2002 Women's College World Series. She says that team had a mission and a purpose. She believes that the will to win is more important than talent on the field. The moment that she will remember for the rest of her life will be during that WCWS top of the 7th against Arizona the score was tied 0-0. They had lead that inning off with a walk. Then with 2 outs proceeded to score 6 runs, to win the game. Coach Ninemire believes that young players really have to find their true passion, work hard and be dedicated. Do your best to reach your goals. I went to Oklahoma for the Women's College World Series and I met UCLA Softball Legend Sue Enquist. Sue was kind enough to let me interview her. During the interview she gives us a great tip for new coaches. The Fastpitch TV Show is sponsored by SoftballJunk.com Feel free to email questions for future shows to fastpitchTV@gmail.com. You may also leave questions, or comments on our call in line 209-Softbal. http://SoftballJunk.com is a great site for all your fastpitch softball bat needs! Sue Enquist, UCLA legend, joins us for an interview in this show. Sue began, like most players, playing baseball and when softball was introduced in their town, but in high school she was the first girl in California to play under the protection of Title XI which gave her the exposure to UCLA and her successful career. Sue is now working on XI cases in schools that are experiencing discrimination so that other athletes may have the same opportunities that she had herself. Thank you Sue!
