    The Adaptor of WARHOLCAPOTE, Rob Roth received a Tony nomination for his Broadway directing debut, Rob Roth (Photo: Gretjen Helene Photography)Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, which went on to become the eighth-longest-running show in Broadway history. "Beauty" has been seen by more than 40 million people all over the world, winning many awards, including the Olivier Award for Best Musical in London. Rob went on to direct the inaugural production of Elton John and Tim Rice’s AIDA, and the Broadway musical Lestat, based on the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles, with score by Elton John and Bernie Taupin. In addition to his work in theater, Rob is a frequent director of rock concerts, working with legendary artists KISS, Alice Cooper, Cyndi Lauper, The Dresden Dolls, and guitar great Steve Miller, among others. Rob has one of the world’s largest collections of rock and roll graphics, which are featured in the book The Art of Classic Rock. Rob is married to Dr. Patrick Meade and lives in New York City with their two Labs, Dash and Tag.

    Jace Clayton is an artist and writer based in Manhattan, also known for his work as DJ /rupture. Clayton uses an interdisciplinary approach to focus on how sound, memory, and public space interact, with an emphasis on low-income communities and the global South. His book Uproot: Travels in 21st Century Music and Digital Culture was published in 2016 by Farrar, Straus and Giroux. Recent projects include Sufi Plug Ins, a free suite of music software-as-art, based on non-western conceptions of sound and alternative interfaces; Room 21, an evening-length composition for 20 musicians staged at the Barnes Foundation; and The Julius Eastman Memorial Dinner, a touring performance piece for grand pianos, electronics, and voice. As DJ /rupture, he has released several critically acclaimed albums and hosted a weekly radio show on WFMU for five years. Clayton’s collaborators include filmmakers Jem Cohen, Joshua Oppenheimer, poet Elizabeth Alexander, singer Norah Jones, and guitarist Andy Moor (The Ex). Clayton is the UNC-CH/Duke Nannerl Keohane Distinguished Visiting Professor. He is a 2014 New York Foundation for the Arts Nonfiction Literature fellow, a 2013 Creative Capital Performing Arts grantee, and recipient of a Foundation for Contemporary Art artists award. He joined the Music/Sound faculty of Bard College’s MFA program in 2013. Clayton has been an artist-in-residence with the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Eyebeam Art + Technology Atelier, and a USC Annenberg/Getty Arts Journalism fellow. Clayton has performed in over three dozen countries, and has given artist talks at a number of museums, universities, and other institutions, including The Andy Warhol Museum.

    Connie Englert is the Principal and Managing Director of her own social enterprise, TrueNorth Transit Group (TNTG). Based in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, TNTG is an upstart transportation management and consulting company currently working with MassDOT and MassPort. Her firm is nationally certified as a LGBT Business Enterprise and one of the only openly transgender certified businesses in the program’s history. Connie has over twenty-five years in transportation operations and planning. She has played with trains at Amtrak, airplanes at United Airlines and JetBlue, buses with New York City Transit Authority, and subways and commuter trains at the MBTA. Her current love child is MAX Regional Bus, linking Boston to Brattleboro VT. She currently serves on the Governor’s Special Commission for Health Provider Pricing. She is equally passionate supporting the broad LGBTQ spectrums, including transgender and gender non-conforming people. She views public visibility and economic participation to be keys to broader acceptance, inclusion and tolerance within all communities. She serves on the Board of Green Mountain Crossroads, a rural LGBT community development group, and lives in rural Franklin County at the end of a very long dirt road.

    Chastity is the coordinator of Transcend, a program of AIDS Action Committee which stands for Transgender Care needs, Diversity, & Education. Transcend has been around for over 10 years, navigating Trans folks through the healthcare system, which has not always been present. They aim to lower HIV infection rates by having in-depth risk reduction conversations about condoms and Prep and personal cognitive counseling. For their HIV positive clients, Transcend staff make sure they are adhering to prescribed antiviral medications to become virally suppressed. The Transgender community has so many obstacles facing them that Transcend sometimes has to put testing on hold while assisting with barriers like homelessness, domestic violence, nutrition assistance, and the list goes on and on. Chastity believes this program has had success with engaging Trans folks of color due to the fact the program is staffed by Trans community members. Transcend plans to expand services to assist Transgender youth!

This Changes Everything, the documentary inspired by the book and narrated by Naomi premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2015 and is available worldwide. Naomi is a member of the board of directors of 350.org and a Puffin Foundation Writing Fellow of the Nation Institute. Monique Wilson is Director of One Billion Rising and one of the Philippines' veteran theatre and film actresses--having acted professionally since the age of nine. At 18 she starred as the lead role in the original London West End production of Miss Saigon. In 1994, at 24 years old, she went back to the Philippines and founded the New Voice Company (NVC) theatre group, with a vision to awaken, inspire and transform Philippine audiences with socially provocative and innovative political theatre work. As NVC’s Artistic Director, Monique has steered the company into one of Asia’s leading theatre companies, producing a diversity of shows--from the Asian premiere of Angels in America in 1995, to a devised theatrical piece on the plight of street children (in collaboration with the David Glass company, UK), to their acclaimed original production Revolutionary Hearts about activism, revolution and nationhood. Their recent original production The Male Voice ­ explored roots of violence in Filipino men. In 2012, Monique was awarded the “Light of Culture” Lifetime Achievement Award by UNESCO and the International Theatre Institute for her work in theatre and activism in the Philippines. In 2013 Monique received the Hildegarde Lifetime Achievement Award—given by St. Scholastica’s College in the Philippines, for her lifetime contribution to art, culture and empowerment of women and girls through her theatre and activism work. In 2014, Monique left a five year post as head of the MA/MFA Acting International course, which she spearheaded, at the East 15 Acting School in London where she trained postgraduate international actors from over 45 countries, and where she organized V-Day events and directed political plays.

    Daniel P. Schrag is the Sturgis Hooper Professor of Geology at Harvard University, Professor of Environmental Science and Engineering, and Director of the Harvard University Center for the Environment. Schrag studies climate and climate change over the broadest range of Earth history. He is particularly interested in how information on climate change from the geologic past can lead to better understanding of anthropogenic climate change in the future. In addition to his work on geochemistry and climatology, Schrag studies energy technology and policy, including carbon capture and storage and low-carbon synthetic fuels. Schrag currently serves on President Obama's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. Among various honors, he is the recipient of the James B. Macelwane Medal from the American Geophysical Union and a MacArthur Fellowship. Schrag earned a B.S. in geology and geophysics and political science from Yale University and his Ph.D. in geology from the University of California at Berkeley. He came to Harvard in 1997 after teaching at Princeton. Diane Paulus is the Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director of the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, and was selected for the 2014 TIME 100, TIME Magazine’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Paulus is the 2013 recipient of the Tony Award for Best Director of a Musical (Pippin). Her other recent work includes Cirque du Soleil’s Amaluna, currently on tour in Europe, Invisible Thread at Second Stage, The Public Theater’s Tony Award-winning revival of HAIR on Broadway and London’s West End. As an opera director, her credits include The Magic Flute, the complete Monteverdi cycle, and the trio of Mozart-Da Ponte operas, among others. Diane is Professor of the Practice of Theater in Harvard University’s English Department. She was selected as one of Variety’s “Trailblazing Women in Entertainment for 2014” and Boston Magazine’s “50 Thought Leaders of 2014.”

    Jill Johnson is Director of Dance, Senior Lecturer in Music and Theater, Dance & Media; and Artistic Director of the Harvard Dance Project, at Harvard University. A graduate of Canada’s National Ballet School and a 28-year veteran of the dance field, Johnson choreographs for film, television, and the stage; she has danced in over 50 tours on 5 continents. She was a soloist with the National Ballet of Canada and a principal dancer and researcher in William Forsythe’s company Frankfurt Ballet. Stages Forsythe’s work worldwide, including for Paris Opera Ballet, La Scala, Batsheva Dance Company, Norwegian National Ballet, Netherlands Dance Theater, Boston Ballet, and American Ballet Theater. Johnson is a founding collaborator of The Movement Invention Project in New York, and has served on the faculties of and created choreographic work for Princeton University, Columbia University, the Juilliard School, and NYU, and has created 12 new works at Harvard since 2011 including, Paper Wing, What Moves You?, and dance installations RE: RE: RE:, and LOOK UP. Recent collaborations include those with the Harvard Choruses, Harvard Mahindra Humanities Center, Boston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Dries Van Noten and the Louvre Musee des Arts Decoratif, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Mikhail Baryshnikov. Dr. Annekathryn Goodman is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She completed medical school and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and her fellowship training in gynecologic oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). In addition to board certification in gynecologic oncology, she is certified in acupuncture, and has completed training in both pastoral and palliative care. She received a certificate in Clinical Ethics and Health Policy from the Center for Practical Bioethics, University of Kansas Medical School. She received a certificate in Global Health from New York Medical College. She has undergone advanced training in humanitarian disaster relief work through the Harvard Humanitarian studies initiative, Missioncraft in disaster relief operations, and the DelValle Institute’s all hazard disaster response and protection for healthcare personnel. She is the Director of the Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is also a member of the Ethics Committee at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is the past president of The Obstetrical Society of Boston and of the New England Society of Gynecologic Oncologists. She is a member of the national disaster team, IMSuRT (International Medical Surgical Response team), a branch of the US department of Health and Human Services and has deployed to various international disasters including Bam, Iran 2004, Banda Aceh 2005, Haiti 2010, the Philippines 2014, and Nepal 2015. She received the 2012 ACOG International Service Award for service to pregnant women after the Haiti earthquake. Since 2008, she has been consulting in Bangladesh on cervical cancer prevention and the development of medical infrastructure to care for women with gynecologic cancers. She has also developed a two-month observership in gynecologic oncology at MGH for physicians from resource-limited countries.
