This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE Long before Hollywood turned it into a franchise, the Conjuring house had a reputation that made even seasoned investigators hesitate at the front door. Ed and Lorraine Warren felt it instantly—an energy so charged, so undeniably alive, that Ed once joked their entire career could be defined by that single, sinister farmhouse. But the Conjuring house isn't folklore. It isn't fiction. And according to those who walk its floors today, whatever stirred there decades ago… never left. This episode of The Grave Talks features Eric Vitale of the New England Society for Paranormal Research—one of the rare investigators granted access to the home that shaped modern ghost lore. Eric takes us inside his recent investigation: the rooms that felt watched, the questions that went unanswered, and the moments that suggested the house itself still decides who gets too close. What happens when a living investigator steps into a place the Warrens once warned others to respect? And what, exactly, is waiting in the dark corners of the Conjuring house today? #ConjuringHouse #EdAndLorraineWarren #RealHauntings #ParanormalInvestigation #NESPR #EricVitale #HauntedHistory #GhostStories #TheGraveTalks #SupernaturalEncounters #DemonicInfestation #HauntedPlaces  Love real ghost stories? This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! Dan Rivera has lived with the supernatural since childhood. Growing up in a home where his aunt practiced Santeria, he learned early that spirits are real—and that both good and evil can be influenced by the living. Those experiences shaped his understanding of spiritual warfare and led him to a calling that few are brave enough to follow. Now the lead investigator for the New England Society for Paranormal Research, founded by Ed and Lorraine Warren, Dan continues their legacy of confronting the darkest aspects of the paranormal. In this episode of The Grave Talks, he explores unsettling questions: Can a person possessed in life return as a demon? What is happening in today's world that seems to invite more darkness than ever before? And most importantly—how can we protect ourselves? From possessions and demonic encounters to the thin line between the living and the damned, Dan Rivera offers a rare and sobering glimpse into the world of modern demonology. How we navigate the new political environment the voters thrust upon on, and the new regime that seeks to tear up the very foundations of our liberal society, is a matter of ethics. And ethics is bigger than just political questions. It's about how you live, what you aspire to, and what makes for an admirable life, both inside and outside of politics. My guest today has written an important book about just that. Seth Zuihō Segall is a clinical psychologist who served for nearly three decades as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Yale School of Medicine and is a former Director of Psychology at Waterbury Hospital and a former President of the New England Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation. He is also a Zen Buddhist priest, and if you're a regular listener to ReImagining Liberty, you'll know how much I think Buddhist philosophy contains insights of great value in understanding our current moment.Segall's newest book is The House We Live In, which explores the crises imperiling American democracy and argues that progress depends on our arriving at a new consensus on what it means to be a good person and lead a good life and re-imagines an ethics suitable for our time.Discuss this episode with the host and your fellow listeners in the ReImagining Liberty Reddit community: https://www.reddit.com/r/ReImaginingLiberty/ If you enjoy ReImagining Liberty and want to listen to episodes free of ads and sponsorships, become a supporter. An organization dedicated to helping people who are tormented by paranormal events. With this organization they would document, photograph, audio, and video record many of the cases they investigated. This very quickly, as some of us know, snowballed into one of the most fascinating collections of paranormal research. Jews are an important part of the history of the United States, and their contribution stretches across many different fields like cinema, politics and of course - the bagel. But a little less known aspect of Jewish history in America, is the role Jews played in wars, and in particular - the civil war, and even the Independence war. When the Civil War broke there were about 150,000 Jews in America. 125,000 of them lived in the Union States and supported Lincoln. As for the rest of them, 25,000 Jews - they were part of the Confederacy, and some of them even fought for the Rebels. To shed some light on this fascinating aspect of American Jewish history, we have on the show today the author Chaim Rosenberg, who wrote a new book called Shield of David: A History of Jewish Serviceman in America's Armed Forces. Chaim Rosenberg has written fifteen books focused largely on the role of the individual in shaping American greatness. Rosenberg's books focus on the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, child labor in America, and the Loyalists in the American Revolutionary War. His book Yankee Colonies Across America won the 2016 non-fiction prize of the New England Society in the City of New York. We're super thrilled to have Chaim with us today to talk about his new book! Listen to this insightful Whinypaluza episode with Dr. Stephanie Kriesberg about her work in helping daughters of narcissistic mothers overcome the tendency to be overly self-critical. Here is what to expect on this week's show: What is Narcissism? What are the different types of narcissistic personalities? Narcissistic mothers can set people up for a very critical internal voice Stephanie's mission to help these women change the voices in their head Daughters of narcissistic mothers are often made to live the lives their mothers want, regardless of their own wants and needs. Covert narcissists need to live vicariously through their daughters. Oftentimes these daughters of narcissists feel to blame for the relationship they have with their mothers. The critical voice that there is something wrong with them is incessant. The process of educating yourself about how narcissists work and think is the first step to overcoming the challenges you face. Trauma is a part of life. You or someone you care about has probably experienced trauma, whether “big-T” trauma, such as emotional, physical, or sexual abuse or the more common but no less significant “little-t” trauma that can result from divorce, job loss, painful childhood experiences, or any situation where you felt worthless, afraid, or powerless. Untreated trauma can lead to long-lasting effects such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and difficulties maintaining intimate relationships. But the good news is that we can heal—and it doesn't have to take a lifetime. EMDR (which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a unique type of psychotherapy proven to help people recover from trauma and improve the quality of their lives. Through compelling science, personal stories, and powerful photographic images, we learn how trauma is stored in the brain and body, continuing to cause pain and suffering, and how EMDR frees us by repatterning our thinking and emotional reactions. In her new book, Every Memory Deserves Respect: EMDR, The Proven Trauma Therapy with the Power to Heal, Trauma therapist and EMDR pioneer Deborah Korn, PsyD discusses trauma and demystifies EMDR. Deborah Korn, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist, maintains a private practice in Cambridge, MA, and an adjunct training faculty member at the Trauma Research Foundation in Boston. She has been on the faculty of the EMDR Institute for the past 28 years, is the former Clinical Director of the Women's Trauma Programs at Charter Brookside and Charles River Hospitals, and is a past board member of the New England Society for the Treatment of Trauma and Dissociation (NESTTD).

We've all heard the stories. Someone goes to an antique store, buys an item that truly “speaks to them”, then slowly, strange things begin happening around their home. Surprise, you bought a haunted object. The world's most famous collection of haunted objects resides in a small building in New England, on a property once owned by Ed And Lorraine Warren. The famed Annabelle doll, and many other relics of real-life horror, all trapped behind its walls and the binding prayers that are said there. Today we take a deep dive into some of those objects and some of the places they came from, as we have a conversation with Eric Vitale of the New England Society for Paranormal Research. For tickets to The Warrens Seekers of The Supernatural Para-con Oct 29 at Mohican Sun Hotel in Connecticut visit Nesper.com PART 2 - AVAILABLE TO GRAVE KEEPERS ONLY - LISTEN HERE In part two of our interview, available only to Grave Keepers, we discuss: Are there more undiagnosed cases of possession in today's world than there was in the past? Ed & Lorraine Warren made a life out of investigating the paranormal and helping people escape from the dark. Part of that process sometimes involved removing haunted objects from people's homes and keeping them safe in what would become known as the Warrens Occult Museum. For the first time in history, a professional paranormal investigation was conducted by the New England Society for Psychic Research in the museum, today we discuss their findings and the spirits that came through with Eric Vitale. PART 2 - AVAILABLE TO GRAVE KEEPERS ONLY - LISTEN HERE In part two of our interview, available only to Grave Keepers, we discuss: What prevents Annabelle from teleporting out of its case today? What happened with Ed & Lorraine's pets the night of their investigation? What is the story behind “The Devil Made Me Do It”? Are there any objects in Ed & Lorraine Warrens's occult museum scarier than Annabelle?
