So many mission-driven entrepreneurs make a lot of money but they still don’t feel fulfilled. Giving tithes is an amazing way to bring meaning and fulfillment to your abundance. I like to say that tithing is my secret sauce. Tithing doesn’t simply have to be giving a percentage of your earnings to your church each week. Today I’m going to share with you the secret to tithing that I learned from Edwene Gaines in her book The 4 Spiritual Laws of Prosperity. If you feel fortunate to have the abundance that you do, but you don’t quite feel fulfilled, listen to this episode as I share with you how giving tithes is my secret sauce to fulfillment. Episode Highlights [1:10] Tithing didn’t feel inspirational until she heard Edwyn speak [5:10] What is tithing? [8:45] Examples of how tithing has worked for me [16:08] Tithing has taken an even deeper meaning for me [17:15] Tips on tithing Resources BOOK - The 4 Spiritual Laws of Prosperity by Edwene Gaines Agape Spiritual Center What is tithing? So what exactly is tithing and why is it important to business owners? Edwene Gaines explains in her book The 4 Spiritual Laws of Prosperity that tithing is giving 10% of your income to people, places, or institutions that feed your spirit. These are the places that inspire you and remind you of who you are. Spiritual food feeds your soul. Giving tithes allows you to think bigger than yourself and can provide meaning and fulfillment in your life. I know you want to learn more about how tithing can fill your soul, so take a picture of yourself listening to this episode and tag me @lisasasevich when you add it to your Instagram story. Tithing is my secret sauce Are you a successful mission-driven entrepreneur, but your abundance still isn’t leaving you fulfilled? A great way to bring meaning to your abundance is by tithing. I call tithing my secret sauce. I always had a narrow understanding of giving tithes until I went to the Agape Spiritual Center in LA and heard Edwene Gaines speak. She opened my eyes as she explained that tithing isn’t necessarily giving x amount of money to your church each week. After trying a 6-month tithing experiment, I knew there was something magical to giving tithes. Hear how tithing changed my life and how it could change yours by listening to this episode of Boost Your Sales and Lifestyle. The law of attraction and tithing Giving tithes often creates a separate flow of abundance. When you give tithes to the people places and institutions that feed your soul this helps you spread your abundance to the universe. Often times abundance flows right back to you. The law of attraction is a philosophy that states what you put your attention on will grow. Although tithing doesn’t seem like it has much to do with the law of attraction when you give to the universe the universe gives back. There are several amazing ways that the universe has reciprocated my own tithing. Listen to hear examples on how the universe has given back in many instances where I have tithed. Helpful tips on giving tithes Keep your focus on giving. Don't make getting back the focus of giving tithes. The spirit of generosity and giving should be your reason for tithing. The universe often gives back from a different direction. Remember this isn’t the law of attraction. The abundance which flows back is extra and often comes from a completely different source. Give tithes without attachment, focus only on your thanks to the recipient. Once you give tithes, it is theirs to use how they wish. How the recipient chooses to use the money is up to them. My guest today is Christina Hills who helps so many mission-driven entrepreneurs through her life-changing Website Creation Workshop. This workshop helps non-tech-savvy entrepreneurs create a beautiful website with ease. Her workshop gives the user the flexibility to create their own website without having to wait around for someone else’s help. It is a must for creative entrepreneurs who may not have much tech experience. Christina is here with me to tell you all how she uses the Speak to Sell method and her signature talk to get people enrolled in her program. You’ll want to hear all about Christina and her Website Creation Workshop and exactly how she uses the Speak to Sell method to promote her business. Episode Highlights [1:10] How does Christina use her Speak to Sell talk to make irresistible offer [4:33] How does Christina get people to know about her services [9:51] Be structured not scripted [12:50] Don’t change your talk, change your audience [15:54] How she found her ideal title to her Speak to Sell talk [17:32] Christine’s gift to listeners Resources Christina Hills Website Creation Workshop Christina on Facebook Christina on Twitter Christina on LinkedIn How does Christina use her Speak to Sell talk to make her irresistible offer Like me, Christina Hills helps mission-driven entrepreneurs with a service that they really need. Her Website Creation Workshop is targeted at non-techie entrepreneurs as well as the DIY crowd. She uses her Speak to Sell Signature Talk as a way to promote her irresistible offer. Christina prefers to use her signature talk during a webinar or a teleseminar, but the beauty of the Speak to Sell framework is that the signature talk can be used in any circumstance. Listen to this episode to hear how Christina adapts her Speak to Sell Signature Talk to all kinds of situations. Be structured, but not scripted One takeaway that Christina has gleaned from her ten years as my student is, to be structured, but not scripted. She has her talk down and is well prepared which means she is able to go off-script at any time and then jump right back in. When you prepare your talk in a structured way you won’t find yourself floundering around unprepared. If you stick to a strict script you lose your authenticity which is key to selling to any audience. The key is to find the right balance. You’ll want to hear Christina’s advice on how she uses the Speak to Sell framework to keep her Signature Talk structured, but not scripted. Don’t change your talk, change your audience Have you ever gotten done with giving a talk and it was a huge flop? You sold the big old goose egg. This can lead you to rethink your whole talk, to begin with. Well, before you scrap the whole thing, think maybe this wasn’t your ideal audience. It is very important to speak to as many different groups of people as possible to expand your possibilities, but sometimes you’re just not speaking to the right crowd. Having a large range of viewers is important but you must make sure you are speaking to the right people, speaking to the wrong audience never helps anyone. Your offer is your life! If you run a passion-based business you need to be 100% in love with your offer. On this minisode, I challenge you to really take a look at your offer. Think deeply and ask yourself, is this really what you want to do? You need to love everything about your offer; the client base, the delivery, and especially the offer itself. It’s time to consider you for a change and not just your client. Listen to this minisode to hear how to assess your offer and see if it is still right for you. Create an offer that is irresistible to you If you don’t create an offer that is absolutely irresistible to you then you are not following your passions. Creating a passion based life is the whole reason you are doing this, so it is important to make sure that your offer reflects that passion. You may have created your offer at a different time in your life and now it simply no longer speaks to you in the same way. If you are no longer fully in love then it is time to tweak your offer or find a new course. Listen to this episode to hear the four questions to ask yourself to discover whether your offer is still irresistible to you. Is it time to rethink your ideal client? You are creating irresistible offers for your clients as well as yourself, so of course, you will need to think of what your ideal client really needs. While you are taking this time to consider if your offer still resonates with you, think about if your ideal client is the same as it once was. Over the years your ideal client may have changed. This is a great time to consider exactly who your ideal client is as well as what you are offering. Listen to this episode to hear all the questions to ask yourself as you take some time to reflect on your business. If you listen carefully, you’ll even hear how to get my holiday gift for you. Is the delivery still irresistible to you? Delivery is a separate matter to consider and just as important as your offer itself. You could absolutely love your offer, but maybe now you don’t love how you deliver it. This is something to think about. Think of all the possibilities about how you could change the way you deliver your offer. Expand your ideas, perhaps you’d like to provide a video course, or maybe a 90-day online workshop is more your style nowadays. The delivery methods are endless. Listen to this episode to discover some excellent tools to help you reconsider your offer and its delivery. The new year is a great time for a fresh start Use this new year to reconsider how you are living your life. Is this truly the life you want? Successful sales really comes down to your mindset. It sounds simple but it’s true. In this episode I’ve invited an outstanding sales coach and mentor, Eric Lofholm to speak with me about the issue of developing the right sales mindset to accelerate sales and success. Eric is one of those guys who was not successful when he first entered the sales world but through learning and personal growth, he has transformed his life and sales career - to the point he is now an in-demand sales trainer and speaker. You’ll learn valuable lessons from this conversation so I encourage you to take the time - no, to MAKE the time - to listen to what Eric shares. From worst to first salesperson in the company, within 60 days If you’re going to take the time to learn the sales skills that are essential to your career it’s important that you learn them from someone who has done what you need to do. Eric Lofholm is one of those guys. When he began his sales career he was the worst salesman in the company. The numbers proved it. But as he dedicated himself to training, his numbers improved rapidly. Within 60 days he was the top producer in the company and he’s only risen further since. That’s the kind of mentor you want and on this episode of Boost Your Sales and Lifestyle, Eric tells you what he did to accomplish such improvement and how you can do the same. Selling equals service to people, nothing more When we talk about having a successful sales mindset we mean that the way you think ABOUT sales is vitally important. If you see it as an intimidating, scary thing then that’s exactly what it will be for you. But if you are able to make the small but powerful tweak to your thinking - that sales is about nothing more than serving people - you’ll turn the corner and begin to experience exciting, enthusiastic conversations that lead to more sales and a better experience of the sales process for you and your prospects. You can hear Eric Lofholm’s transformative ideas about this sales mindset difference, on this episode. Eric Lofholm’s #1 sales closing tip: Get your prospect to “yes” before you get to the close The close is the most nerve-wracking part of any sales presentation because it is the point at which you ask the prospect for their business - it’s the “yes/no” point where everything is on the line. When I asked Eric Lofholm for his best sales closing tips he said the key to closing a sale successfully happens long before you get to the close. Your presentation and the way you go about it has to have the prospect eager to buy your product before you even ask the question. Find out how Eric accomplishes that and what it will take for you to hone your sales skills to the same level by listening to this episode. Who has the attention of your ideal customers? Learn how to collaborate with them If you want to increase your sales rapidly, one of the most non-obvious things you can do is to collaborate with people who already have your ideal clients within their sphere of influence. Look around you, who are the people and what are the companies that serve the people you want to help? Those are the relationships you need to nurture and establish so you can find ways to help each other help them. This part of the conversation I had with Eric Lofholm is one of the priceless gems he shared so make sure you take the time to hear what he teaches his clients about successful and lucrative collaboration. Every entrepreneur should be pushing the limits of their success, working hard to make things happen on an ever-increasing scale. But often we get stuck, unsure about how to make it happen. I’ve recorded this episode to give you a 3-part experiment aimed at helping you learn how you can do the one thing I’ve discovered that has pushed the levels of my success. What is that one thing? I learned how to increase my “Having Level.” I know it’s not a concept you’ve heard much about, so be sure you make the time to listen to this episode in order to find out what it is and how you can increase it in your life and business. Achieve super success by increasing your “Having Level” mindset What in the world IS a “having level?” It’s a mindset really, a way of thinking about what you are ABLE to have through your business efforts. If you truly want to push the limits of your business success you’ve got to expand your having level because how you think about it is the thing that will most determine what actually happens in your business. In this episode, I tell you my story - how I came to recognize this issue in my own life and what I’ve done to change my mindset about what I’m able to have. Once I did, I've been able to watch everything climb to greater levels of success as a result. I hope it doesn’t sound too good to be true because I assure you, it’s been absolutely true in my life. This is worth hearing. Have you assumed the throne as the expert you are? If you’ve followed me for any length of time you know that I’m known as “The Queen of Sales Conversion.” Do you know the story behind how I got that title? Here it is… just between you and me: I gave the title to myself years ago when I recognized my unique and special gift for helping people discover their irresistible offer and turn it into a successful business. And the best part is this: nobody even questioned it. To this day I’ve not had anyone ask me for the numbers to prove the claim. I simply continue to deliver my unique offer to clients and students day after day and the success I have backs it up. In this episode I explain how assuming your own throne as an expert can increase your having level and push the limits of your success, so don’t miss it! Surround yourself with fellow experts who are doing big things Once you’ve determined the area where you have something unique and powerful to offer the world and once you’ve crowned yourself the expert in that niche, what’s next? You can’t go it alone, that’s what! You have to immediately surround yourself with others who have come to that same point in their journey. As you rub shoulders with people who are experts in their field and are working hard to increase their own having level you’ll begin to develop and grow in the same positive mindset and attitude they have. Together, you’ll support and encourage each other and all of you will thrive. This episode highlights how you can find a community of like-minded people just like that and why it’s so valuable when it comes to pushing the limits of your success. It’s an episode worth sharing. If you don’t know what you have to offer, who will? So many talented, promising entrepreneurs struggle to make their business thrive because of a very simple oversight: they aren’t totally clear on what they have to offer. It sounds silly, and it is! If you don’t know what you have to offer the world, who will? In this episode, I walk you through the reasons it’s so important for you to get clear on the unique thing you have to offer and how that kind of clarity will encourage and amplify what I call your “having level.” Sound interesting? I encourage you to listen. It’s where people go to find you, your products or services, and most importantly - it’s entirely within YOUR control (unlike Facebook, Twitter, etc.). On this episode of Boost Your Sales and Lifestyle, Lisa talks with Christina Hills, an expert at helping people establish their own web presence by teaching them how to use Wordpress to build an incredible and functional website. If you don’t have your own web presence you need the info Christina shares on this website.
This season’s theme is all about expanding your reach by getting your work online! Positioning your offer correctly is vital to your success. It’s easy for YOU to know what you offer, but you’ve got to be able to communicate it to your ideal clients in a way that THEY understand it and are drawn to buy it. On this episode of the podcast, you're going to hear from Vrinda Normand, a great friend of Lisa's who is an expert at teaching business owners and online entrepreneurs how to position their offer in a way that is both appealing and effective for sales. You will learn a lot from Vrinda's 5 step formula so be sure you listen to this episode of the podcast.
Automation is the key to building passive income streams. When we talk about passive income what we’re trying to communicate is that money continues to come into your bank account even if you are not working at it at the moment. For example, many people who have successfully built passive income streams wake up to email messages that tell them of sales that have happened overnight. They continue to gather leads and make sales even when they are on vacation. That is TRUE passive income and it only happens through automation. Today’s guest - Mike Koenigs - is an expert at building those kinds of automated systems. In fact, he’s got one that he wants to demonstrate to you for free, so take the time to listen so you can learn how to see Mike’s demon for yourself.
Today’s guest is Dave Dee of GKIC, and his mastery is getting into the heart and mind of your customer quickly, especially using online tools. Dave inspires entrepreneurs and business owners on how to have more successful business that give them more freedom, more money, and more personal fulfillment. On today’s episode we’re going to cover the 4 most powerful questions you can use right away to identify your ideal client and create the perfect lead magnet to attract them through online methods. You’re also going to get a super cool free tool that you can use to see what search words people are using in your industry, plus learn a special technique to show you where your ideal prospect needs help and how can you communicate in a way that stands out to them.
The man who’s sharing with us today is a professional at making money online. It’s almost like he invented the idea, he’s been at it so long. Marc Ostrofsky has made millions in the domain name space alone, having sold Business.com for 7.5 million dollars. And he’s done it again and again over the years with other domain names. But that’s not the only way he makes money online. Marc has 4 primary ways he makes recurring income online and today’s episode is a creative gold mine of information that he lays out for you to use to make money online for yourself. You won’t want to miss this one.
On today’s show, Lisa walks through her core principles of “Listen. Act. Trust.” in the context of getting your work online – allowing yourself to be your best self and help more people, make more money, and create the life you want. This is the fastest way to grow your reach, impact and sales!
If you are already selling your coaching or training online and are not conducting teleseminars or webinars, what are you waiting for?
