This is the hardest journey you have been on. Long hours. Lots of tears. Tons of anxiety. Loneliness. Disappointment. Heartbreak. All the things. So why not just quit? Why not just give up and turn around now? I mean, if it was meant for you, it wouldn't be this hard right? If you were on the right path, you wouldn't be this stressed, right? In this motivational minute, I want to offer you a bit of a reminder that whether you quit or give up now, they're both hard. You will have to face difficulties, disappointments and stress in either direction. When you're on the journey to reaching your potential or finding your purpose, there's a lack of visibility into what's the BEST way to get there. Sometimes there's an obvious detour that you can take that doesn't take too much longer and other times you have to consider backtracking as there is no foreseeable way there on your current path. But that's when we have to remember the God's eye view of this journey. Today's motivational minute is meant to inspire and encourage you through your tough days. Keep listening to this episode when you're struggling so you can stay encouraged. // Don't forget to subscribe to the show and share with someone who needed some motivation // Connect with me on IG or Linkedin @neshavfrazier Support the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/couragehackers)
I really struggle with saying that I'm stressed. I'm learned to embraced my anxiety, so I can use anxious. I'm welcoming overwhelm - so there's some level of comfort there. But stressed isn't one that I embrace easily. I came to realize that it was because acknowledging 'stressed' as an emotion felt powerless. It felt like I was submitting or acknowledging that I couldn't navigate out of my situation. And I am not nor do I accept the feeling of powerlessness. I'm an incredibly strong and tough-minded black woman. BUT I have paid the consequences for my blatant disregard for my 'stress levels'. I have experience severe burn out, depression and multiple medical conditions which were the result of a stressed immune system. As a strong woman, specifically a strong black woman, I feel like my threshold for stress isn't the same as a lot of women I speak to. My life experiences in my childhood and family life can speak if you've heard me share my story. But is that fair to myself? Is that fair to my growth? Is that fair to my spirit? Today's episode shares why I struggle with admitting that I'm stressed and welcomes your thoughts/experiences. I decided to make this a mini series because I think it warrants a deeper conversation. So stay tuned for that. // Find me on IG or Linkedin @neshavfrazier and let me know! // Don't forget to rate this episode 5 stars!Support the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/couragehackers)
I signed up for a Spartan race. I don't know why. But apart of it is also just realizing that I am soon to be considered a mid-lifer. Or at least I think I am. But in realizing that my life has officially hit the mid-way point for the average life cycle, I signed up for it. And also because I'm over talking about my dreams. It took my some time to become as master at manifesting. After years of studying it, I learned the there are two keys:1) Manifesting or creating what you want in life requires you to KNOW what you want from your life.2) Sometimes, we can go through seasons or storms that challenge us to believe that we need to get smaller or reduce our expectations for what we want. Have you been watching Will Smith's Best Shape of My Life? If not, this will be a bit of a spoiler because this episode is sharing my reaction to it. If you love him then you already know how amazing it is. One of my favorite inspirational videos to watch on YouTube is called Will's Wisdom. I've been quoting it for a decade. Despite knowing what I already knew about Will Smith's mindset, I was surprised at how much I have in common with him. Rather, how much he has in common with me. Obviously, I'm not Will Smith and I'm not speaking about his success. Things like: his negotiation with when to push and when to relax, his fear of disappointing his younger self, his incredibly black or white, this or that approach to success and his constant pursuit of growth and challenge. Will is over 50, has all the coins, established legacy and wealth and he is out here grinding. I felt so incredibly inspired and grateful for his vulnerability. Have you ever found yourself meeting someone who has achieved the success or income that you desire and yet you know good and well that he/she isn't smarter or more skilled than you. But despite all that you being to the table, you have yet to achieve similar results in your life? It has nothing to do with what you've done thus far. It has everything to do with what you believe is possible for your future. You see, the greatest tool in your toolkit isn't your degree. It's not your experience. It's not the way you grew up, either. It's your mindset. It's your belief system. When I say choose faith to you, I'm not speaking of God or the Universe. I am sending you a gentle reminder to choose faith in yourself. Neville Goddard says that our only limitations are a weakness of attention and poverty of imagination. I believe that without question. You are only as successful or capable as YOU imagine yourself to be. Have you listened to the previous episodes where I shared a few life updates and explaining a portion of my absence? Did you watch my YouTube video on why I move in silence and why you should, too? You don't just go from zero to 26 miles overnight. You also don't assume that you can run that long, without preparation, and succeed (for the average person). It's a process. It's a journey. One that requires you to push through exhaustion and overwhelm. So many of us are days or weeks away from the breakthrough we want in our lives but quit sooner than we can receive it. We have the capacity to overcome the hard things in our lives but we lack the courage or the fight. I didn't have a lot to bring to the financial or credit table. I remember when we went through the process of building and buying our first house together, we had to leave me off the loan because I would have ruined our chances at underwriting the loan. I had a mindset about money that believed that it was something I was never good at, so I should just accept it. But I called bullsh*t on myself. It's how I approach the mindset people had when they say they're terrible at remembering other people's names. If you keep telling yourself your terrible at/with something, your mindset will adopt that narrative at truth. You have no incentive to improve a poor skill if you has accepted it to be worthless or impossible. /// This episode celebrates my proudest financial flex and offers update #2 for ghosting you this year. Here are the two things I hope you take away from this episode: 1) If you're out of your 20s and still struggling with money management or building a mindset about money that serves you, that's okay. If your 2 steps behind or 20, all that matters is that you decide to get in the race. 2) Let's stop shaming ourselves for the money choices we've made in the past. Shame doesn't serve you. Don't forget to subscribe to the show! /// I was recently inspired by Gabrielle Union's haircut post where she talked about normalizing change that doesn't have to be the result of pain or negativity. I know many women who cut their hair off after a break up. Or go through a massive glow up. Nothing wrong with it. But you don't need trauma or pain as an excuse to change your life. I feel like it's much more difficult to find the motivation or consistency to see the change through when you are in a good place. This episode speaks to the fact that complacency or contentment can often be an excuse for ignoring the nagging calling we're receiving to level up our lives. We can easily convince ourselves that our prior goals or ambitions are no longer needed to satisfy us. While there may be some level of truth to that, it doesn't change the fact that the calling will always be with you. Don't forget to rate & review the show /// This episode invites you to the emotional roller coaster I experienced at the beginning of the year. While it starts with finding out about baby number 4, it ends with the realization that God was sending me a hard stop. My return to work with my my 2020 was remote for 2 months. It allowed me to separate my work from my toxic work culture. That's pretty dangerous because it also gave me a renewed energy that things could/would improve. I got my hopes up that my professional and financial goals could be realized with a renewed attitude. Boy was I wrong. Situation after situation occurred (in disrespectful ways) to wake me up. I realized that I was moreso hoping to dismiss the calling God placed on my life for this year. One that I've known about for years but was starting to talk my way out of it. It's been showing up as whispers. Then God put a wall in front of me: a fourth baby. A non-negotiable, how TF are you going to make this work knowing the reality of your situation? Today's episode talks through that a bit. It talks through how I found gratitude in things not working out as planned with my return to work. While it speaks to finding out about growing my family, I know it will still speak to some of you about trusting your whispers and not allowing your circumstances to prove you wrong about them. /// Don't forget to rate & review the show! /// @neshavfrazier on IG and Linkedin

I owe you an update - did you see my first announcement? I'm pregnant with baby #4! Today's episode briefly touches on finding out that we are expecting our SECOND pandemic baby. But moreso, it touches on the fact that I tend to step away when I am making big pivots in my life. We have a few updates regarding pivots that I will share over the next few months. I tend to protect major pivots in my life by moving in silence because insecurity is a muther. If you're not prepared to combat negativity, criticism or a lack of support, it may impact your beliefs about yourself. I didn't want to risk that so I had to get my mind right. A seat at the table. What exactly does it mean to aspire to a seat at the table. Have you ever asked yourself that? What exactly does that goal mean to or for you? For some of us, aspiring to a seat at the table is another form of permission for us to be ourselves and live within our truth. We create this goal and await for validation. We secretly look at others blazing a trail down the path of our goals because we lack the courage to lean into our potential if proof of success doesn't exist. Today's episode is to remind you that the fabric of your being is one that was created with strength, courage and wisdom. It's been inside of you all along. You have already had the proof that you and your dreams are possible. /// Follow me on IG @neshavfrazier /// Don't forget to rate and review the show!
I've been with my husband for 14 years and married for almost eight. I thought being a mom would be the hardest thing I've done. It 's not always a walk in the park. But marriage is by far the hardest thing I've ever done. It's not hard because of the reasons that may immediately come to mind. It's hard because I have ZERO control over my husband as I do my children. I can't bark out a command or order and just expect him to submit like a child. It's also harder because the complacency within a relationship is real. Add more layers like kids, careers, hobbies, friends, etc and complacency just makes itself right at home. You have to be mindful of where you are and how you are performing within your relationship. Surviving a rough patch is no different. Many people give up too easily within a rough patch of a relationship because they think it means that you're not meant to be together. But rough patches aren't all created equally. Sometimes, we play a role in creating them because we've lost sight of our role within our relationships. Today's episode walks you through three things you can do to survive a rough patch within your relationship: 1) Find the RIGHT support system - create an engaged board of directors2) Customize the job description - check in on your performance regularly3) Check yourself Don't forget to follow and subscribe to show. {Don't forget to follow, subscribe and leave a review} Today's episode we talk about me finally going live on IG (click to watch the IGTV version of this episode) Something that I was terrified to do for whatever reason. It's a funny thing, being afraid of things that will progress your goals because you're afraid of judgement, afraid of making a mistake or just plain afraid of being uncomfortable on social media. If you're a fan of this podcast, then you know that I am actively working at becoming more vulnerable by doing things that scare me. Let me be the first to tell you: this is not fun. I am reminding myself to have fun (did you catch my Reel?) And reminding myself that on the other side of fear isn't embarrassment or shame. It's my future self waiting on me to figure it out so we can move on. Learn how to reframe your mistakes as lessons with these three simple steps to move forward. Today's episode shares: How do you overcome yourself and your fears: - Remember that nothing changes if you don’t change- Nesha’s five-second rule re-imagined How I productively overcome my mistakes:- Thomas Edison story- Give yourself permission to make mistakes without judgement or criticism- Experiment as much as you needed with building up to confidence How I navigate thru change when experimenting:- I remind myself that I set the pace and tone for the standards in my life – no one else- I remain stubborn in my vision but flexible in how it’s realized
There's a lot going on right now that may have made you believe that change was too much or too scary to do. The presidential election, the pandemic and so much more. The current state of your life may be overwhelming. It may make you believe that you now have the confirmation you needed to stand still and just accept the way things are. That's nonsense. Change is not only inevitable but it is vital to your growth. You are not the greatest that you will ever be. You physical body continuously evolves to ensure of that. I had to take a step back from my podcast for a few reasons. The main one being that I had a lot on my plate and I recognized that I could do it all, but I knew that I shouldn't. I returned to work from my maternity leave and I can't say that I was thrilled about being in the office again. It was really hard for me to navigate through the some things that I knew weren't conducive to my success. But I'm not at a place where my job is optional yet so I had to figure out the best way to protect myself. Also, we've paid off over $30K in debt! Yep! I made a public announcement on my Building Money Mindset episode that I would be debt free by the time I was 40 and a millionaire by the time I was 45. Many of us know that we need to make a difficult decision that would require us to change the agreement we've made with someone. I imagine there are some of you struggling with it now. I've had a few of those struggles myself. A few of them I will be sharing on today's episode. My business, this podcast, posting content on social media. I've changed my mind about it all. Here's the thing: I didn't seek anyone's permission to do it. I just did it. You don't either. It's okay to be apprehensive or concerned. You're human and you care. But you need to start thinking like the leader of your life and make decisions that protect your greatest assets: time, energy and money. If what you're doing in your life or business doesn't net a positive return on one of those three things, then it's time to reconsider. /// Don't forget to rate and review the show /// Share this episode on your IG or Linkedin if it resonates and tag me @neshavfrazier

Maybe your purpose is to impact your local community or to change the life of a loved one. That's why you need to rid yourself of your excuses and get through the first version of your goals. The hard part...the dig deeper part...is identifying who or what you're at war with. What it the TRUE enemy that you're up against. For so many of you, it's you. You are your own worst enemy. You are the reason your life fails to meet its true potential. Your ego, your low standards, you inability to release your narrative and let go of your past. There's a bigger threat to your success and it's likely not what you think. You've won the battle. Now it's time to win the war. True personal growth and personal success happens during the war. I want you to live your dream life. I want you to thrive and win. I want you to achieve your big goals. But I also don't want you to quit your day job until you've leveraged all that you can from it. That means four things: getting paid training, optimizing the financial investment, replicating the success systems and thinking like the CEO of your life. This episode discusses this idea further because I know you're struggling with a job that you may hate. I know that you're ready to radically transform your life. But I don't want you to miss the opportunity you have today with this version of your life. This episode really elaborates on how I am and have always been able to push myself when I know that I'm made for something else. /// Find me on IG or Linkedin @neshavfrazier and let me know if this resonated with you /// Don't forget to rate, review and follow or subscribe to this show.
Today's episode is an honest look into a current crossroads that I am experiencing and decided to share with you. As you already know, I had a baby at the start of quarantine. Here's the honest truth: I emerged from my postpartum quarantine a different person than who went in. I have spent the last four months protecting my peace in as many ways as possible. I have found the courage to create boundaries with things, people and experiences in my life. Today's episode discusses what that means further. It also acts as permission for you to do the same. There is no one who will support you better than you can support yourself when you recognize that you've lost your sense of self. I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and no longer recognize yourself because you've created an identity that's so heavily influenced by everyone else. I'm not telling you to release your identity or those priorities. I am telling you that if you seek to find yourself you must draw a line in the sand and protect your peace, identity and priorities. /// Find me on Linkedin or IG @neshavfrazier /// Don't forget to follow the show!
Having big goals and visions for your life will require your support to look different than it's looked up to this point. You can very well achieve it on your own, without a change in support. It will take longer but you can do it. But why put the pressure of that level of support on friends and family who don't understand your goal? Today's episode walks you through three things to consider up leveling your social circle and increase your likelihood for success. /// I mentioned that I am considering starting a monthly {FREE} accountability group for other women entrepreneurs. I haven't fully thought out the details of this. Maybe a first of the month Zoom call to offer support, networking and feedback for each other. My intention is to normalize high-courage, imperfect action. I've been getting feedback that some people think if you're not settling for good enough than you are chasing perfection. Absolutely not. I believe there is a whole lot of grey area between the two. I also believe not everyone is meant to have lofty goals. So many of us think that failing at something is a sign that we weren't supposed to do the thing we know we were called for. We quit before we have our breakthrough because we didn't think we were ready or good enough. That's not the case. This motivational minute is a reminder to you to change the channel, not the message when things go south. I would rather you hop into my DMs and have a quick chat with me before you give up (IG @neshavfrazier) I know you're doubting yourself. And then you turn around and ask already-insecure people what they think you should be doing. You're looking in the wrong direction. They're just feeding your insecurities.
My superpower is being resilient. Here's the definition of it: able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions."babies are generally far more resilient than new parents realize" of a substance or object) able to recoil or spring back into shape after bending, stretching, or being compressed. When you have big goals in life, you have to recognize that they won't happen easily. If you're not up for the struggle, you will quit. Learning to embrace the suck and become mentally strong is the most powerful tool you can have in your toolkit. It's the reason I can look at a challenge that scares others and welcome it. Because I know what to do to navigate through it. /// Find me on IG @neshavfrazier /// You already know what to do to achieve good enough standards. Why not try something new? I'm launching a coaching business, growing my influence through podcasting and writing while working full-time as an HR Manager and married mom of three kids under 6. I get asked often why I choose to put myself under this pressure when life seems to be good enough for me today. Today's episode will answer that question. I was recently reminded of my mortality and that I am not promised any more time than what I already at this very moment. A chance encounter with an old friend from the military was God's way of showing me that. It created an urgency unlink anything I've experienced. It was a moment that I add to the list of reasons why I am grateful for my recurrent pregnancy losses. Tune into this episode today if you need a reminder that you have no control over what happens next week or next year. So why delay or defer your goals? Your purpose? Forgiving your past so that you can move on? Why hold on to the weight of good enough just to sacrifice the greatness that's already within you? It's my 7th wedding anniversary! I am not in the marital advice business and won't be sharing keys to success. Success has to be determined by you & your partner. I will remind you that you have to be intentional within your marriage even when it doesn't matter. This episode shares how my 14-year relationship is one of the proudest moments in my personal growth and personal success journey. I find so many women lose sight of themselves when they become moms or wives. We so easily sacrifice ourselves with the expectation that we will find joy, peace, happiness or success outside of ourselves. We won't. Today's I'm sharing how I went from $10/hr to tripling my salary back in 2012. I'm sharing with the hopes that you gain insight into what it will take to change your circumstances. When you put yourself in a situation where you're embarrassed or ashamed of the income you're earning in your career, you need to consider the boundaries and standards you've become flexible with. This story taught me that when you don't expect much, you don't get much. If you're a working professional and you're ready to increase your earning potential as a professional, I want to work with you, too. I know the feeling of settling that goes with that. Financial peace is something we can all aspire to. You don't need a new business to get that. Money mindset is something you should strive to have a positive relationship with. Maybe your desire isn't to become debt free and join the Dave Ramsey band wagon, maybe it's just to improve the way money flows to you and increase your earning potential. Growing up with a money mindset that something money wasn't something we had enough of or good things happened for good people and knowing those good people typically didn't have money set a tone for my money mindset. So this episode, I am sharing with you how I am changing that. When I was trying to build my confidence, I tapped into an alter ego who was assertive, bold and unapologetic until I became that girl. I expected people to treat me like my alter ego. With creating my money mindset. I am tapping into a new alter ego. His name is Jimmy. He's a 55 year old, retired white guy. If you've been listening, then you know that I recently launched a take action challenge. I put about $50 into marketing (Facebook ads) and the reset was just organic pushing. I intentionally avoided it being a free challenge (it was $57) because of imposter syndrome. I had a sales goal of enrolling 9 people. Today's episode walks you through behind the scenes of how my first paid challenge went, how I shift my mindset, what I am doing during this consistency challenge and also letting you know that I'm (unofficially) taking one on one clients.
