That direct communication can be worth a lot, maybe even priceless in some cases.Without the ability to tag along with someone who knows more than you, it's usually going to be a longer, harder road to success, with a lot more mistakes made along the way....so how do you find someone who is miles ahead of you, and more importantly, how can you get them to give you the time of day? With that being said, you may need to evaluate your current sources of wisdom. Take notes... Take ACTION! Episode 110 Time Stamps: (2:31) Your environment deeply affects what you think and how you act (4:11) No one is immune to the power of your environment (7:00) A reality check, about your current surroundings (8:40) Willingness, and a commitment to growing at a fast rate = a dominant athlete's best trait (11:03) The essential qualities of a mentor (13:46) There are no exceptions for "blind" advice (15:21) The proper mindset to have before seeking a mentor... Mentoring is the single biggest catalyst of self-transformation because it can enable you to discover what’s really possible for your life. Life is short and there is only so much you can learn through your own direct experience. Therefore, if you wish to create great success and happiness and live beyond your current limitations then you must seek out and learn from outstanding mentors. Mentors will stretch your life, motivate and empower you and allow you to achieve all your dreams in life. If you have big goals, then there is no need to reinvent the wheel – simply find someone who has done it before, learn from them and replicate what they did to achieve their success. You can achieve anything you want in life, but you’ve got to find a great teacher first!
