One approach to introducing foods that is gaining popularity is called baby-led weaning, which is a method of introducing solid foods to your baby and letting them take the lead on eating, rather than using purely purees or traditional baby food. In this episode, we talk to Joana Fraser, a pediatrician and pediatric feeding specialist, all about why parents might want to choose this approach and how to get started with baby-led weaning. Joana Fraser is a pediatrician, Mom of 2 (soon to be 3!) boys and founder of Littlemore, a company that creates the snacks you always wished existed for your kids. She grew up both in the USA and the UK, completing her medical degree in Scotland before moving back to the US after marrying her husband Ken.
