    Miquel Silvestre gave up a successful career to travel the world on two wheels. Since quitting the rat race, he's visited over 100 countries, including most of Africa, the entire Middle East and pretty much all the Americas, from Alaska to Patagonia. His real passion – to follow in the footsteps of the Spanish explorers from the past and recreate their journeys. As a writer, he has published several novels, a play and lots of travel books. For the past seven years he has been producing and directing TV documentaries about motorcycle adventure, including the successful Diario de un Nómada series, now in its 12th season.
