The way one resides in Vṛndāvan or in Rādhā-kuṇḍa isn't necessarily just to move in, and I'll stop with this point, but it means that, we should be careful. Caitanya Mahāprabhu said that you should live in Vṛndāvan always; if you can't be there physically, then you should live there within your mind and heart. So if you're living here, you can cultivate that mood. It does help to go to Vṛndāvan during our lifetimes if we could make the pilgrimage to Vṛndāvan, as suggested by Prahlāda Mahārāja in today's verse 'vanaṁ gato yad dharim āśrayeta'. You should try to go there and take shelter. My personal experience is going to the dhāma and spending time there means that you develop a relationship with it because the dhāma is non-different from Kṛṣṇa. If you go there and serve the dhāma and you hear in the dhāma, then you start to develop an affection for the dhāma and you think, "Let me be in the dhāma." And then, you can think of the dhāma, and that was Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu's recommendation or order that 'Live in Vṛndāvan', but it means live there within your heart. Some people move to Vṛndāvan, and they're thinking, "I wish I was in Delhi because I could watch a video right now. I won't do it in Vṛndāvan, but maybe I'll go to Delhi and watch a video and come back." And somebody might be in Delhi, or the middle of France for that matter, and be pining for Vṛndāvan and think, "I wish I was in Vṛndāvan and I'm not qualified," and therefore they're feeling separation for the dhāma. They're more in Vṛndāvan than someone who maybe has moved into Vṛndāvan and then, became entangled in, mundane thoughts and so forth. Therefore, as we'll discuss later from some of Prabhupāda's purports and instructions, when we approach the dhāma, we should be very careful. Prabhupāda once said you can stay there three days or three years. Three days means you go there very carefully and offer obeisances to Kṛṣṇa Balarāma and be in some of the Kirtans and so forth. Three days, so you don't make any offense and then go or three years if you have service. When we go to the dhāma, main point is you should have some service there if you're going to stay a long period of time. Because often times people go to the dhāma and think I'll hear and chant 24 hours a day, and then they get there and khrh..And you find out, yeah, you still got to find out where to eat, right, because you are hungry, right? And then it's like you're in the food line: "Do you have a plate? I don't have a plate. You need a spoon." All the other types of things well up in one's life, and it becomes a situation where one might become a desperado in the dhāma, and that's also not ideal. So we have to cultivate the relationship with the dhāma very carefully, and one can do so from here in France, being in this dhāma but cultivating knowledge of the dhāma through hearing and chanting, but also visiting. Kuini Nga wai is 27 years old making her the second-youngest Māori monarch to be appointed, and only the second female monarch of the Kiingitanga. Kuini Nga wai's ascension to the throne signals a new era and forward movement for the Kiingitanga. Producer Evie spoke to University of Auckland kaiārahi, Waikato descendant, and whānau of the Kiingitanga, Tui Kaumoana-Steedman about how Kuini Nga wai was selected for the role. They also discussed how she may take the Kiingitanga in a new direction, what issues she'll be aiming to highlight, and how her rule may have an effect on Aotearoa as a whole.

The award-winning Compliance into the Weeds is the only weekly podcast that takes a deep dive into a compliance-related topic, literally going into the weeds to explore a subject more fully. Are you looking for some hard-hitting insights on sanctions compliance? Look no further than Compliance into the Weeds! In this episode, Tom and Matt consider the recent speech by DAG Lisa Monaco, creating a Safe Harbor for M&A under the FCPA and beyond. The Justice Department has recently unveiled a new policy aimed at fostering cooperation and compliance within the corporate sector, especially during acquisitions. This policy, which offers companies the chance to avoid charges for compliance violations discovered during the acquisition process, has sparked a lively discussion among compliance experts. Matt views this policy with a mix of curiosity and uncertainty. He acknowledges its potential benefits but also raises concerns about its practical execution, particularly in relation to antitrust enforcement and the treatment of companies new to acquisitions. The application of the policy across various DOJ divisions and its interactions with other enforcement organizations intrigue Tom. He also questions whether acquiring companies will still receive a “free pass” if the acquired company engages in antitrust behavior. To delve deeper into these perspectives and explore the potential implications of this new policy, join Tom Fox and Matt Kelly in the latest episode of the Compliance into the Weeds podcast. Recording date: 24th July 2023Nickel continues rangebound in $20,500-$21,500 range with LME inventories remaining low at 37-38,000 tonnesAfter nickel price move off the $20,000 range about 10 days ago, sulphate prices actually softened a little as the big surge in June ores for NMC cathodes in China hasn't continued through yet for July /August - so sulphate discounts retraced some of the narrowing we've seen in last few weeks. On NPI front, NPI prices surprisingly actually ticked up about 2%. Thought we would see sulphate discounts narrow pretty fully before NPI started moving higher but good to see Not lots of news, but couple of key pieces of newsNickel refining capacity - The London Metal Exchange has approved nickel produced by China's Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co. for delivery under its new fast track registration system for its new refinery in China. Huayou, GEM, CNGR all building refineries in Indo/China and will follow down a similar path. This is key piece in “great convergence” which will allow market clearing mechanism to move from NPI/matte discounts back to LME price. Should see ~200ktpa of capacity come online by end 2024 and nearly 100ktpa of LME deliverable nickel produced in 2023.This scale of numbers given that given current annualized surplus is estimated by INSG in 100-200kt range which in May fell by 1/4 to 144kt annualized form ~200ktpa annualized. I still believe that these figures are overstated as don't see large inventories in market and wouldn't see discounts reducing if these inventories available to market.Poseidon Nickel – comment from subscriber online that wanted thoughts on this announcement. Last week mentioned their exploration at success at other past producing mine – Emily Ann/Maggie HaysPoseidon was restarting Black Swan/Silver Swan operations – one of few nickel mills in Western Australia and mine operated for short period of time in 2008-2009 – now announced last week deferring restart until 2024 for following reasons: Western Power has advised grid power will be available from late 2024 · Additional metallurgical testwork will be conducted to confirm recovery assumptions for the disseminated serpentinite ore · Decision made to defer the restart of Black Swan due to project related factors and external market conditionsFrom release quote: “These project related factors together with the continuing tightness in the WA labour market, the lack of the availability of Kalgoorlie FIFO accommodation ….”Highlights 4 key issues:Availability of infrastructure– no grid power until end 2024, (could use generators, but much more expensiveAvailability of people and ability to support them – talks about fly in fly out – most of Western Australia with a few exceptions is massive fly in, fly out operation. Is expensive, and highly competitive Importance of nickel concentrate grades - Release talks about certain ore feed producing only 5-6% nickel concentrate with high mgO content – big plus of deposits like Crawford is ability to produce much higher grade nickel concentrate. Most nickel concentrates are only 10-15% nickel Parallel project design – need to integrate resource/mine design/mineralogy/metallurgical testing so always understand how feed will perform. Is good they found out now rather than in operation, but would have been better if found before putting FS out last year.
