I truly believe that people enter your life for a reason, and I must say Barbie is one of those people… Barbie is a Maternal Empowerment Coach as well as a Restorative Justice Advocate. The Government of Canada defines restorative justice as, “an approach to justice that focuses on addressing the harm caused by crime while holding the offender responsible for their actions, by providing an opportunity for the parties directly affected by the crime – victims, offenders and communities – to identify and address their needs in the aftermath of a crime….Restorative justice is based on an understanding that crime is a violation of people and relationships. The principles of restorative justice are based on respect, compassion and inclusivity. Restorative justice encourages meaningful engagement and accountability and provides an opportunity for healing, reparation and reintegration.”Barbie's journey began in the summer of 2016 when her youngest daughter was raped. During this time Barbie realized in order to be able to help her daughter heal, she had to first heal herself. Over the course of the next few years, and a lot of work, Barbie and her daughter fought for Restorative Justice. Welcome to my conversation with men's work coach Brandon Archer. In this episode we journeyed through all things Masculine and Feminine Energy. The Divine energies (masculine and feminine energies) are energies and traits that are contained within each of us regardless of our gender. Normally we will each have a more dominant energy within us. When we come together in union, enter specific situations, or integrate into any form of relationship different parts of these energies will come out.In order for any dynamic to work there needs to be polarity. Brandon and I explored what the polarities look like in our relationships, including the relationship we have with ourselves.During our conversation we covered:what masculine and feminine energy arewe broke down what masculine and feminine traits arewhat unhealthy, toxic, or unbalanced energies look like and were they stem fromhow to heal unhealthy energyhow to step into your masculine or feminine in a healthy waythe role that the energies within relationshipshow to find balancethe importance / role of polarityI closed out the conversation asking Brandon how he teaches his children about the energies (I found his answer very interesting)CONNECT WITH BRANDON:www.brandonarcher.comMENTIONED:The Journey with Jared (Podcast)Rising WomanThe Voice of Knowledge by Don Miguel RuizFor more information, resources, and detailed show notes check out my website!
