Peter and Eden cover a whirlwind couple of weeks—family milestones, stressful schedules, and the search for meaning outside of work—before diving into media updates like Escaflone, In Mourning's crushing new album, and the delightfully cursed Ice Cube–starring War of the Worlds (2025). From there, things spiral into chaos with a marathon of “Would You Rather?” questions that range from the silly to the philosophical, including fart announcements, glitter burps, pinky-finger super strength, and whether you'd rather have a South Park wedding or a Family Guy funeral. It's the most chaotic fun you'll have all week.Episode NotesLife updates:Peter's son Alex returns from his mission and prepares for a wedding. The challenge of balancing work, family, and downtime.Reflections on identity outside of your career.Media check-ins:Peter on Tiny Experiments and the joy of learning Final Cut Pro.New music: The Immortal by In Mourning, and “End of You” with Amy Lee, Poppy, and Courtney LaPlante.Eden's anime binge: Azumanga Daioh (finished), Escaflone (technical mishaps + stationary bike viewing).Bad Movie Bros watch: War of the Worlds (2025) starring Ice Cube—possibly the worst movie ever made.Manga spotlight: Yoritama: From Third Wheel to Trifecta (romantic chaos).Main Event: Would You Rather?Pajamas vs. tuxedos, freakishly big mouths vs. tiny noses.Public fart announcements vs. peeing your pants.Superpowers you don't want: invisibility only when sneezing, pinky-only super strength, screaming flight.Food fiascos: pizza hands vs. donut feet, glitter burps vs. bubble hiccups.Social nightmares: every text to mom vs. marching band of lies.Philosophical turns: 20 years with no regrets vs. 100 with many. The ultimate cursed choice: South Park wedding or Family Guy funeral.

Just like the hurlers, the Cork camogie team couldn't add the All-Ireland to their haul of Munster and league titles this season. They also missed a penalty and were reduced to 14 at Croke Park but Ger Manley's side gave a far better performance on the big stage, reflecting the fact they were a puck of a sliotar away from three in a row.We break down the loss to Galway, from the flat first half to the heroic comeback where they rallied from five points in arrears to level late on. We discuss the controversial refereeing decisions, particularly the push in the back on Amy Lee that wasn't spotted before a first-half point and failure to award a free at the death for a foul on Clodagh Finn. The dismissal of Hannah Looney was hard to argue with but the Tribe repeatedly pulled down Cork's marquee playmaker Saoirse McCarthy. The Rebels had some terrific performers, including Laura Treacy, Libby Coppinger, Ashling Thompson and Laura Hayes but they struggled in the opening period to cope with Galway's intensity and swarm tackling. There was a narrative beforehand that Cork only had to turn up to collect the cup. It was similar to the hype on the hurlers, much of it pushed by those outside the county bounds. What is fuelling the anti-Cork agenda? There's a discussion of the reappointment of John Cleary as Cork football manager. What can he bring to the management team to make the Rebels contenders again? And how will he shake up the squad for 2026?Hurling boss Pat Ryan's future is also up in the air. There's a big preview of the second round of the club championships.Which clubs are under the most pressure? Who can lay down a marker? At Premier Senior level, it'll be Imokilly against Muskerry in the final to decide who joins the clubs in the knockout stages. The champions from East Cork looked the part in sweeping past Avondhu but is their path to the quarter-finals too easy? Now in its third season, every week Éamonn Murphy will be joined by The Echo team including Barry O'Mahony, Denis Hurley, Rory Noonan, Jack McKay, John Horgan and more to discuss all the latest Cork GAA news on and off the field. You can listen to the Echo Sport Podcast every week wherever you get your podcasts or on www.echolive.ie/podcast. College visits, auditions, move-in weekends and campus drop-offs — they're all part of the college journey… and they can get really expensive, really fast. But what if you didn't have to stress about the cost?In this episode, I share how I recently visited Notre Dame using points and stayed right on campus without spending a dime — plus how Club members like Heather, Amylee and Yolanda have used my system to fly their kids to and from college, tour campuses across the country and show up when it matters most — all without blowing their budget. You'll hear:How one mom booked 7 college audition trips using her Companion PassWhy flying kids home from college — even on short notice — can be stress-freeHow I used points to fly my son to UCLA for a summer program and internshipA smart strategy to erase campus hotel costs using a Chase transfer bonusThe emotional (and financial) payoff of having points ready when college travel callsIf college is anywhere on your family's horizon, this is one of the smartest ways to use your miles — and I'll show you how to make it happen.

I'm excited to share this unique look at Sagittarius season through the lenses of astrology, Human Design, and multiple other modalities. Enjoy! My guest is Alison Marie Dale, who I met inside Heretic Haven. Heretic Haven is an exploration of the 5th Line experience, hosted by Kelsey Rose Tortorice and Allyson Forseth. Alison is a 5/1 profile and I am a 3/5, which is how we both ended up in the same space. I got to really be a student in this episode. Alison activated my HUGE INNER NERD, which is one of my most favorite parts of self. I had my notebook and pen out, writing down things she shared that I want to keep savoring. You might want to do the same as you listen! If you're new to Human Design, and discovering this wisdom modality for the first time, then… you're welcome! It's a rabbit hole. BEWARE! Like astrology, I recommend a slow and patient pathway, letting the wisdom roll in however it most resonates and going deeper as the desire emerges. This world is a lifelong study so there's no rush. To pull up your HD body graph, you will need your birth time just like in astrology. You can see yours for free here. You can learn more about the 5th Line experience from my interview with Kelsey from last spring. This is one of my most downloaded episodes of 2024. My HD teachers are the wonderful collaborators Amy Lee and John Cole of the Human Design Collective. Both are tremendously skilled teachers and readers. I will sing their praises until my dying days. Click here to learn about the Gene Keys. Alison Marie Dale is an artist, ecological astrologer, human design guide and somatic facilitator based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is also the host of the weekly forecast podcast Cycles of Time. Alison is passionate about helping people realize the potential for presence, creativity and abundance in their lives in times of personal and global transformation. Her current projects combine somatic practices (breathwork, voicework & nervous system regulation), divination practices (astrology, human design & the i'ching) and expressive arts. Her mission is to create spaces where individuals can connect with the wisdom of their bodies, exercise their creative muscles, and find deep belonging within the larger universe. Find Alison on social media at @astro.somatics & @cyclesoftimepodcast, on the interwebs at alisonmariedale.com and astrosomatics.com, and you can tune into Cycles of Time Podcast wherever you listen to podcasts. +++ E M E R G E N C E A S T R O L O G Y www.brittenlarue.com Instagram: @brittenlarue Order Living Astrology +++ Podcast art: Angela George. What is the open throat center in Human Design? How do we work with its unique gifts and challenges in the process of deconditioning? The open / undefined throat is one of my favorite topics in Human Design. It's said that only 29% of the population has an open throat center, making it the least common out of the open centers. Unsurprisingly (and pun intended), there's a lot of misconceptions, misunderstandings, and, frankly, terrible advice about how to live with an open throat center. In this episode, I share about my process understanding, deconditioning, and ultimately befriending my undefined throat.Thank you Kelsey Rose Tortorice for the question! You can listen to my conversation with Kelsey here. She also has incredible courses to help you learn Human Design, Human Design for the Astrologically Minded and Living Your Design. I also mentioned my HD teachers, Amy Lee and John Cole of Human Design Collective whose foundational courses on Human Design I highly recommend.
