Welcome to the final step in our Getting Unstuck journey—Step 5!Over the past few episodes, we've explored powerful tools for navigating your inner world and creating real change. In this week's episode "What Are Feelings and How to TRULY Let Go," we bring it all together. Now, it's time to take action with a step-by-step homework assignment that ties it all together: Your Homework for the Whole Series:Pick a Small, Measurable Goal: Choose something you've been procrastinating or feeling stuck about—something specific and achievable.Notice Your Thoughts, Feelings, and Sensations: As you take steps toward this goal, observe the passengers on your “bus”—those thoughts, feelings, and urges that try to hold you back.Label and Accept Them with Kindness: Write them down. Say, “I notice the thought that…” or “I notice the feeling of…” and respond with, “And that's okay.”Find the Feeling in Your Body: Where does it show up? What does it feel like? Make space for it by imagining opening windows and letting it be.Ask Yourself, “What's One Thing I Can Do?” Instead of battling the emotions, shift your focus to what you can do. Take one small action to move forward. Pro Tip: Repeat this process daily or whenever you feel stuck. With practice, you'll notice the resistance quieting down and a sense of freedom emerging. Need a Refresher? You can find here the whole series episodes. [https://apple.co/40HyHQx]The power of transformation lies in action, and I can't wait to hear how this process works for you. I want to share something deeply personal: my journey from traditional psychiatry to helping people heal at a foundational level. After losing my mother to suicide and stepping into a parenting role for my siblings at a young age, I had questions that shaped my life: Why do people suffer? Can we truly heal? These questions led me to psychiatry, but over time, I realized the system often felt like treating symptoms instead of the root cause. My own healing journey taught me a powerful truth: true recovery begins by reconnecting with our bodies, calming our nervous systems, and building a solid foundation of safety within ourselves. This approach transformed my life, and now I'm dedicated to helping others do the same.If you're curious about my story or looking for ways to reconnect with yourself and truly heal, I'd love for you to tune in. Continuing with the topic of Sex & Intimacy – Last year, I sat down with Dr. Sadaf Lodhi for an episode titled "Where Sexual Intimacy and Emotional Intimacy Meet." As you know, in the past few weeks, I've released episodes focused on this theme, and since many of you were particularly interested, I thought now would be the perfect time to revisit this insightful conversation with Dr. Lodhi.Sexual health remains a taboo topic in many circles, even for physicians. Many of us, including OBGYNs, didn't receive sufficient sexual education during our training. This is precisely why Dr. Sadaf Lodhi decided to become a sexual coach — to fill this significant knowledge gap.Dr. Lodhi is a board-certified OBGYN and executive coach for women, with over 20 years of experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan and her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University. She also completed her residency in gynecology and obstetrics in Michigan, and went on to earn her life and executive coach certification from Rutgers University.Today, Dr. Lodhi runs a telehealth practice focusing on sexual and menopausal health, serving women in New York and Michigan. Her mission has always been to empower and educate women, helping them build sexual confidence and find pleasure in their relationships. So if you missed this episode the first time around, or are eager to revisit the conversation, join us as we continue exploring where sexual intimacy and emotional intimacy meet.
