Today I share once more words that awaken from the life coach and author in her 2000 book, Until Today. And I quote: “Life will work for me when I realize …the experience of my faith keeps my faith alive. You must have faith and experience to live life fully. You must believe that everything you expect from life is possible. You must have faith that no matter what life brings to you, you will be able to handle it. You must have confidence that your faith will eventually lead to good experiences. Experience teaches you that your faith is paying off. Once you have had an experience, you know that you know. When you see, you become more fruitful. Once you have an experience, you want more and better or different experiences. The difference between faith and experience is this: One you must work on, the other works on you. Join Dr. Amile Exume as he explores the role of the Divine in his life. He continues to provide service to others above self, in spite of a medical condition that defies all odds. He lives in constant wonderment declaring, WOW! God did this for me? Be inspired!

The Duke Basketball Roundup has a slew of stuff for you on this day. After the intros (in which we debate a huge travel decision facing Jason) the guys dive right in to the NBA Draft. They look at where Dereck Lively and Dariq Whitehead ended up and if those teams need them now or will bring the newest Dukies in the NBA along slowly. After a commercial break, the podcast gang laments the departure of Amile Jefferson, headed from the Duke bench to the NBA's Boston Celtics, and they take some guesses at who might be the next assistant coach in Durham. Lastly, Paolo Banchero has been added to the USA Basketball roster for the 2023 FIBA World Cup, a move that no one saw coming because Paolo had indicated he planned to play for Italy instead.

The DBR Podcast is back with Episode 325, which covers a few topics related to Duke Basketball. We begin by discussing the impending addition of 3-time Duke captain and national champion Amile Jefferson to the Duke Men's Basketball staff as Director of Player Development. Needless to say, we're really excited about Amile returning to Durham, and we talk about what he can bring to the staff. We also discuss some recruiting news as Top 10 recruit in the Class of 2022 Dariq Whitehead will announce in the next month where he will go to school. Duke has a great chance of getting the 6'6' SF, so we break down his game and what his commitment could mean to the Blue Devils. After the break, the name, image, and likeness era has begun. We talk about what it means for Duke, what Duke players have done so far, and some of the quirky (and huge) deals that have already been inked by college athletes across the country. We end with a note about Grant Hill joining Duke's Board of Trustees. Don't forget to subscribe and leave a 5 star review if you love what you're hearing! Learn more about your ad choices. Many of you will remember the article that went viral earlier this year detailing the everyday 'petty tortures' inflicted on NHS doctors. Dr Jo Poole, an anaesthetic trainee, recounted her experiences of being treated poorly in a blogpost that went gained traction and then went on to form that article.
