Jason, Justin and Dakota are joined by Mark Pellegrino & Andrew Rossow to discuss their Kickstarter and upcoming project, also Mark discusses his film and television career! Here is the press release of their upcoming project as well as a little about Mark and Andrew! ’13 Reasons Why’ ‘Supernatural’ Star Mark Pellegrino and Internet Attorney Announce ‘The Guardian Project’ Reality Docuseries GEORGETOWN, TX – October 26, 2020 – Mark Pellegrino, who is most known for his lead role as ‘Lucifer’ in the CW series “Supernatural,” in addition to his lead roles in “13 Reason’s Why,” “Dexter,” and “Lost,” has teamed up with internet attorney Andrew Rossow to launch a campaign for “The Guardian Project,” a new reality docuseries. “The Guardian Project” is a multi-tiered attack on the epidemic problems of public bullying and the spreading of libelous narratives on social media. The Kickstarter campaign officially launches Tuesday, October 27, 2020, to raise money to help create the reality docuseries that not only exposes online bullying and libel but offers community solutions and reformative justice for the victims. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/theguardianproject/the-guardian-project The first and primary tier of “The Guardian Project,” via its ‘Catfish’ like style, confronts victimizers and empowers victims to get justice. The second tier is organized civilian support and protections for victims through virtual neighborhood watches. The third-tier involves partnerships with tech start-ups, which promote contractual relationships between social media participants. Think civility through liability. The fourth-tier is legal reform that empowers victims to seek legal restitution against those who would use social media platforms to harm the reputations and lives of those they don’t agree with or like. Pellegrino and Rossow both have similar backgrounds when it comes to facing bullying head-on, recognizing the intense waves that continue to flood social media and online communities. They have both publicly shared their stories of bullying, harassment, and assault they’ve faced over the years. Now they’ve come together to take action and play an active part in creating “The Guardian Project” for the greater good. Imagine for a moment what our world would look like without the internet… No quick access to news articles, not able to quickly access random facts… and not able to engage with others from all over the world in an instant. How different would our world be? Would it be better off? There wouldn’t be investigations into emails or Russian hackers, for starters. And there wouldn’t be a widespread normalization of hate speech. However, that isn’t the world we live in. The world we live in is much faster, much more immediate, and the implications in the advancements of technology have not yet fully come to fruition. And many times, the technology and types of media outlets we use everyday can be more harmful than we think. Recently I had a great conversation with a member of the Federal bar Association, a young and talented internet attorney by the name of Andrew Rossow about the topic of Cyberbullying as well as the other darker aspects of social media. With the rise of social media over the years, cyberbullying has been a huge problem. Cyberbullying is the use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature. Bullying tweets and Facebook posts, can be powerful and have a huge impact; keyboard warriors find their victims and oftentimes their victims cannot escape. But within the legal profession, there are efforts to put laws in place and combat cyberbullying through a variety of ways. On Lawyer 2 Lawyer, host Craig Williams joins attorney Maria Z. Vathis, the 91st president of the Federal Bar Association, and returning guest and internet attorney Andrew Rossow to discuss cyberbullying, the impact on victims, and the efforts by the legal profession to prevent cyberbullying. Attorney Maria Z. Vathis is the 91st president of the Federal Bar Association. Internet attorney Andrew Rossow brings a unique millennial perspective to the show, as he is also a criminal defense attorney, writer, and adjunct law professor in Dayton, Ohio.
Host Sean Harris talks with internet and technology attorney, Andrew Rossow, about millennials in the legal industry.

LPA, and attorney Ben Meiselas, from Geragos & Geragos, APC, to discuss the Equifax data breach, what went wrong, litigation, the potential impact, and what customers need to do if they discover that they are victims of this breach.
