There is absolutely nothing scarier than saying goodbye. Saying goodbye to your family, your friends, and your hometown as you go off to chart your own path in the world. There is something so beautiful about it, and yet also so incredibly petrifying at the exact same time. You don't know what the future holds...and that's absolutely terrifying. You don't know when you'll be back at your old house, back in your old room, back in your home town, back to...it all. There's something so finite and yet uncertain about this farewell. It's like someone kidnapped you off the side of the street and said, "don't worry, we'll take you back". When? I think part of growing up is just realizing you don't have those answers. So what do you even DO then? How do you say goodbye to the people you love....without ever knowing...if that's ACTUALLY goodbye? That's an issue I spent far too long trying to solve...and without much tangible success. The only potential truth to the matter I found...is this film. This film, is about the one thing I found to hold on to. This film, is the reason I am no longer scared...of saying goodbye. I can only hope, no matter who you are, no matter where you're at in your life, that this films message about friends, family and relationships, helps you JUST as much as it helped me. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/steven-cuoco/support

Many innovators looking to launch a technology-rich product may come into the game with glamorous visions of tech giants and gurus snapping up their innovations and immediate market adoption. But the path to success is less often glamorous and more often long and arduous. It requires a foresight of challenges and the flexibility to pivot when necessary, which is becoming increasingly apparent in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. To maximize a product’s chance at success, it’s imperative for an innovator to have a solid understanding of what they can expect when first embarking on their path to product launch. They also need to plan for outliers and the unexpected. On today’s episode, Electronic Caregiver Founder and CEO Anthony Dohrmann tells us about his experiences on the path to product launch. He offers insights and strategies on what it’s like to have a radical innovation idea, and the work that goes into seeing it come to fruition. Anthony shares: His take on the importance of coordinating input between providers, patients, caregivers, and families That even if you have thousands of people telling you that your product is just what the industry needs, a focus group comprised of those who will use your product every day will give you more comprehensive feedback — and help you avoid costly mistakes How having a solid understanding of how to secure capital — and how capital requirements may shift as you develop your product — is an often mis-assessed key to the launch process How to recognize the silver linings and opportunities presenting themselves as COVID-19 pushes a rapid evolution of the country’s healthcare landscape Guest Bio Anthony Dohrmann is the CEO and Founder of Electronic Caregiver, a company that uses advanced technology and artificial intelligence to create a voice-based virtual caregiver to serve clients based on their needs and resources. Pushed to pursue his innovative nature through circumstances, Anthony has successfully leveraged his love of technology and drive to change the healthcare landscape into a truly innovative product — and its introduction into the market couldn’t have been better timed.

Danny “Easy D.” Dohrmann is a witness to the expansion of Music of the Mississippi. In the 80's and 90's, Easy D. and his company, Satin Star Productions, rocked the San Francisco Bay Area. Easy D.'s venues included dropping into some of the most famous clubs in San Francisco Bay Area: Silks, The Palladium, Daz Club/1015, Club Metropolis, The Design Center. He also shared the stage with a young group called The Wrekin Cru and a kid by the name of Andre Young, Pebbles, E-40, and Sir Mix-a-Lot. But it was his tenure during THE PROS DJ Pool that Easy's contributions made the greatest impact. THE PROS DJ Pool, founded by Rico Casanova, had a mission. To bring the new sounds coming from the East Coast to the West. Without THE PROS and 5 other regional record pools (Miami, Houston, Chicago/Vegas, Los Angeles, and Seattle), New York Hip Hop, Chicago House, The Miami Sound, Freestyle, Los Angeles Gansta Rap, The Bay Sound, and The Northwest Mix-A-Lot sound would never had flourished. ** We celebrate the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin who was an American singer and pianist. Tonight we'll share some of her TOP HITS!!..including RESPECT..THINK & A ROSE IS STILL A ROSE.
Ray Loves MoviesCHIPS - Movie ReviewDax Shepard (“Hit and Run,” TV’s “Parenthood”) and Michael Peña (“The Martian”) star in the action comedy “CHIPS.” Shepard also directs from a script he penned based on the characters from the popular ‘70s television series created by Rick Rosner. Jon Baker (Shepard) and Frank “Ponch” Poncherello (Peña) have just joined the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in Los Angeles but for very different reasons. Baker is a beaten up pro motorbiker trying to put his life and marriage back together. Poncherello is a cocky undercover Federal agent investigating a multi-million dollar heist that may be an inside job—inside the CHP. The inexperienced rookie and hardened pro are teamed together, but clash more than click, so kickstarting a partnership is easier said than done. But with Baker’s bike skills combined with Ponch’s street savvy it might just work…if they don’t drive each other crazy along the way. Also starring are Rosa Salazar (“Insurgent”), Adam Brody (“Think Like a Man Too”), Kristen Bell (“Veronica Mars”), and Vincent D’Onofrio (“Jurassic World”). “CHIPS” is produced by Andrew Panay (“Earth to Echo,” “Wedding Crashers”), who produced Shepard’s directorial debut “Hit and Run,” and Ravi Mehta (“Get Hard”). The executive producers are Robert J. Dohrmann, Nate Tuck, Rick Rosner, Michael Peña, and Dax Shepard. Collaborating with Shepard behind the scenes are cinematographer Mitchell Amundsen (“Now You See Me”), production designer Maher Ahmad (“Get Hard”), editor Dan Lebental (“Ant-Man”) and costume designer Diane Crooke (TV’s “Parenthood”).
