My journey to kick Diet Coke has led me to sparkling mineral water with aged balsamic vinegar and lime. Weirdly enough, it is more of a mind hack to fool the brain…same coloration with the carbonation and when the lime is added it takes away the “vinegar” taste…mostly. You really have to find the proper mix to work for you, though. Still working mine out! He grew up immersed in the jazz legacy of his hometown. His father, Ellis Marsalis Jr., was a legendary pianist and educator, and his brothers Branford, Delfeayo, and Jason are also acclaimed musicians.  A virtuoso in both jazz and classical music, Marsalis was the first musician to win Grammy Awards in both fields in the same year, a feat he achieved in 1984. Marsalis was also the first jazz musician to receive the Pulitzer Prize for Music, for his oratorio Blood on the Fields.  Marsalis has become a global ambassador for jazz, and since 1991, he's served as the artistic director of Jazz at Lincoln Center.    Also, hear an interview with the acclaimed Indianapolis jazz saxophonist Rob Dixon. He'll discuss his upcoming tribute to jazz legend John Coltrane “A Love Supreme: 60th Anniversary Tribute”.  For Indianapolis music fans, Rob Dixon needs no introduction. Prosecutors allege Cox, 69, struck Pugh in a marked crosswalk after leaving a holiday party. Cox refused sobriety tests, admitting to drinking “three beers” and taking medication. Police noted signs of impairment but no slurred speech. Evidence presented included bar receipts showing multiple beers ordered by Cox's group earlier and testimony about the catastrophic brain injuries that led to Pugh's death. Defense attorneys questioned the receipt's accuracy, highlighted poor visibility at the crash scene, and argued Cox's demeanor did not indicate intoxication. The trial, criticized for its slow pace, continues amid debates over evidence admissibility and witness questioning. This ambitious project, born from a $1 million investment by Cobb County, aims to improve river access and foster economic development, community connection, and environmental preservation. The plan features traditional and craftsman-style homes with at least 2,200 square feet and two-car garages. The developer seeks open space community zoning, which would preserve 50% of the 48.67-acre property as permanently protected open space, including walking trails and park areas. A mandatory HOA and a 100-foot buffer from the neighboring Broadlands subdivision are also proposed. Previously delayed in October, the plan aims to balance development with conservation while enhancing the community. STORY 7:  UPDATE: Man Killed in Smyrna Hit-and-Run Cobb County Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident in Smyrna that killed 30-year-old Jose Ortega-Dominguez early Saturday morning. Around 4:30 a.m., Ortega-Dominguez was struck by a westbound vehicle while walking outside a marked crosswalk on Pat Mell Road, near Green Acres Elementary School. The driver fled the scene without stopping. Ortega-Dominguez was pronounced dead at the scene, and his family has been notified. Authorities are seeking public assistance and urge anyone with information to call 770-499-3987. Born, raised and living in Harlem, Musa Jackson, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Ambassador Digital Magazine, is also known as "The Harlem Ambassador", a title bestowed in a feature piece in NYC's Uptown Magazine (2015). A man of many talents, Musa has spent decades representing his beloved community. Musa can be seen in the new award-winning, documentary directed by Questlove chronicling the untold story of the Harlem Cultural Festival in the summer of 1969, Summer of Love (available on Hulu). Musa began his career as a pioneering Black male model, discovered by the beauty editor of GQ magazine in 1983, which led to world travel and a host of valuable connections. He modeled for GQ, Vogue, New York Fashion of the Times magazines and walked the runways in Paris and Milan for Jean Paul Gaultier. Musa was the first Black male model to appear in a national mainstream campaign, for The Gap. Musa has written an award-winning screenplay, co-produced fashion shows for Diane Von Furstenberg, Carolina Herrera and Betsy Johnson, special events such as Nona Hendryx's 1st visual media art show, Lena Horne's 100 Birthday Tribute and the classic film, Claudine 45th Anniversary Tribute and wrote a social column "My Uptown World" for Uptown Magazine. Currently, he is the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Ambassador Digital Magazine, featuring some of the most diverse, influential individuals in the culture.
