Forest have added yet another Botafogo player to their roster in left back Cuiabano! To Buy Wolfie A Coffee! Click Here: https://buymeacoffee.com/forestfantv It's a massive day for Nottingham Forest fans as Wolfie brings you the latest transfer update: Cuiabano is a “here we go” for the Reds, becoming the fourth Botafogo player to join the club this summer! The 22-year-old left-back or wing-back, who has notched two goals and three assists in 21 games for Botafogo this season, has completed his medical at the Nigel Doughty Academy and is set to sign in a deal that pushes Forest's summer spending past £200m. Wolfie dives into the details of Cuiabano's dynamic playing style, his versatility to operate as a traditional left-back or attacking wing-back in Nuno Espirito Santo's 4-2-3-1 system, and how he'll compete with players like Ola Aina and Nico Williams for a spot in the starting XI. But that's not all—Wolfie also tackles the swirling rumours about Taiwo Awoniyi's potential departure on Transfer Deadline Day, with the 7pm BST deadline fast approaching. The Nigerian striker, who has struggled for minutes behind Chris Wood and new signings like Igor Jesus and Arnaud Kalimuendo, is reportedly attracting interest from clubs like Werder Bremen for a loan move and Everton for a permanent deal. With only one Premier League goal last season and a recent abdominal injury sidelining him, Wolfie discusses whether Awoniyi's time at the City Ground is up, especially as Forest prioritize squad motivation and new attacking options. Drop your thoughts in the chat—should Forest keep Awoniyi as backup or let him go to reignite his career elsewhere? #nffc #botafogo #transfernews Learn more about your ad choices. Nottingham Forest drew 0-0 with Monaco in a pre-season friendly in Chesterfield on Saturday. A dull game even by friendlies standards was notable though as Morgan Gibbs-White started despite the prospect of a controversial transfer to Tottenham Hotspur as he puts the Spurs talk to one side for now. Was he saying goodbye to fans when he left the pitch as fans chanted his name? The match also saw Taiwo Awoniyi return in what must go down as a real surprise so soon after major surgery. Matt Davies is joined by Dan Cook and Dillon Mapletoft from 7pm to reflect on the game and on the latest transfer news involving Jadon Sancho and Dan Ndoye. #nffc #nottinghamforest

Join Wolfie and the Grumpy Old Reds panel for a LIVE podcast on Forest Fan TV, diving into the latest Nottingham Forest news buzzing among the fanbase! Reports are circulating that boss Nuno Espírito Santo has emerged as the favourite for a high-profile managerial role in the Saudi League, raising questions about his future at the City Ground despite Forest's strong season. The panel debates whether Nuno might be tempted by the move, what it would mean for the club's European ambitions, and who could potentially step in if he departs. With Forest's project on the rise, this rumour has sparked heated discussions—tune in to hear the panel's takes and share your thoughts in the live chat! The panel also tackles the ongoing fallout from Taiwo Awoniyi's serious injury during the 2-2 draw against Leicester City, where a delayed offside call on Anthony Elanga led to the collision that caused Awoniyi's ruptured intestine. With Awoniyi now recovering after being woken from an induced coma on May 14, 2025, the panel discusses whether the Premier League needs an urgent rule change on offside decisions to prioritize player safety, especially after the assistant referee's hesitation left Forest effectively playing with 10 men. They explore fan and expert calls for reform, weighing the balance between game flow and protecting players, and reflect on Awoniyi's importance to the squad as he aims for a return later this season. Looking ahead, the Grumpy Old Reds preview Forest's crucial weekend clash against West Ham, a match that could bolster their hopes of Champions League qualification. With Forest currently in a European spot but the top four race tightening, the panel breaks down what Nuno's side needs to do to secure three points at the London Stadium, especially after their recent draw. They discuss key players to watch, tactical adjustments, and the stakes as Forest aim to make history in the 2024/25 season. Phew. A second-string Forest team were given a scare by League One Exeter, who scored an early goal in each half to hold the Reds to a draw after extra time. Despite Ibrahim Sangaré assisting both Ramón Sosa and Taiwo Awoniyi in the first half, Forest failed to create enough chances and had to bring some of the big guns off the bench. The match was held up by lengthy treatment for Awoniyi's head injury (thankfully he will be ok), and in the end, Premier League class showed in the penalty shoot-out as Wood, Gibbs-White, Anderson and Williams netted from the spot. Rich and George report back the morning after the night before, bleary-eyed and relieved. Rios has been making waves, especially after his standout performances in the recent Copa America where he played a pivotal role in leading Colombia to the final. Nottingham Forest are into the final two days of the transfer window as they look to strengthen their Premier League squad. A striker is the top priority after the collapse of their pursuit of Santiago Gimenez. The Reds have been linked with Eintracht Frankfurt's Omar Marmoush, while they already Taiwo Awoniyi and Chris Wood. Awoniyi played the full game against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup but looks like he needs more minutes, however, how will he get starts if another striker comes in? We discuss that, more transfer news, the Newcastle game and look ahead to Wolves on Saturday as Matt Davies is joined by Pete Blackburn and Simon Bristow. In a surprising turn of events, it has been reported that Newcastle United have paid a substantial £22 million for Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos. This transfer fee is considered to be significantly above the player's actual market value, which could raise some eyebrows across the football community. Sources indicate that this inflated transfer fee was strategically designed to assist Nottingham Forest in easing their Profit and Sustainability (PSR) financial issues ahead of the crucial June 30th deadline. By securing a higher-than-expected fee for Vlachodimos, Forest are able to improve their financial standing and comply with regulatory requirements. Vlachodimos, a highly skilled goalkeeper with a solid track record, joined Forest from Benfica for around £4m, while his talents are undeniable, the £22 million price tag does seem inflated. And another transfer out of The City Ground who went for good money was Brandon Aguilera, who joined Rio Ave for nearly £6m last month. Nottingham Forest's striker Taiwo Awoniyi, is at the centre of transfer news today as there have been rumours linking Awoniyi with a move to Premier League rivals West Ham United. The Hammers are reportedly in the market for a powerful and dynamic forward, and Awoniyi fits the bill perfectly. And with Forest's need to raise funds before the PSR deadline at the end of June, could Awoniyi be the chosen one to ease the clubs financial woes. On the flip side, Forest are also looking to bolster their squad, and one name that has come up recently is Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville. The young Dutch winger has been turning heads with his performances in the Championship, and with Leeds failed attempt to return to the top division, plus financial concerns, they may be forced to sell one of their priced assets. But can Forest compete with clubs such as Liverpool, who are also reportedly interested in the winger. In other news Nottingham Forest are still yet to decide on how they will vote in the upcoming Premier League vote about whether to scrap VAR or not. Wolves are the team pushing for the removal of VAR, and with Forest being on the wrong end of a number of decision this season, it would be hard to believe they wouldn't follow suit. Let us know what you think about all todays news and comment your thoughts on the potential departure of Taiwo Awoniyi. With Luton Town and Burnley both losing earlier in the day, Forest were all but guaranteed of survival heading into the evening match against Chelsea. And with goals from Boly and another beautiful strike from Callum Hudson-Odoi, it looked like Forest would survive in style. However two minutes of madness saw Chelsea turn it around and take all three points from the City Ground. Another good performances returns no points at the City Ground yet again, but who is to blame for the late turnaround from Chelsea. Chris Wood yet again was misfiring in front of goal, and with Awoniyi now back to full fitness, should Taiwo start in the final game of the season next week against Burnley? In this video we will dissect the performance of the team against Chelsea and where this leaves Forest heading into the summer, should Nuno be kept in charge or is the Greek father Marinakis thinking of making another managerial change before the start of next season? In this crucial clash between Everton and Nottingham Forest, two clubs grappling with financial challenges find themselves locked in a desperate struggle for survival. Join us as we delve into the depths of this relegation battle, dissecting the key players, tactics, and our predicted team for this matchup. In regards to the potential lineup for this match, Nuno might tempted to go with an unchanged team, with Awoniyi still unavailable, Chris Wood should lead the line once again. But what about Ryan Yates, who is marmite with the fans, as you either love him or hate him, but should he be dropped for this match in place of either Dominguez or Sangare? The reverse fixture finished 1-0 to Everton at the City Ground with a goal from Dwight McNeil, but with Everton's recent form resulting in a thumping at Stamford Bridge on Monday evening, is it a good time to play the Toffee's. With both teams worried about the consequences of losing such a key game, this match has all the signs of being a low scoring affair, but do you agree? In this match preview we will discuss potential line-ups for both teams. We will be talking about the system we expect to see from Nottingham Forest. After the shock and unfair late defeat to Liverpool last time out in the Premier League, Forest head into this away trip to Brighton desperate to avenge the injustice that happened at the City Ground. And with Fixtures against Brighton, Luton and Palace in the next few weeks, these are the matches Forest need to take points from. In regards to the potential lineup for this match, marquee signing Ibrahim Sangare has been training all week and should be match fit and ready to start this game, but will boss Nuno make any changes from the Liverpool match. Another player available and fit for this match is Chris Wood, so is there a chance Nuno drops main striker Awoniyi and brings in our top scorer this season? Brighton's form has been inconsistent in recent weeks, and after suffering a heavy defeat in the Europa League to Roma on Thursday night, they head into this match low on confidence. Brighton boss De Zerbi likes to change his starting lineup frequently and switches between a back four and at back five, so predicting their starting 11 can be tricky. In this match preview we will discuss potential line-ups for both teams. We will be talking about the system we expect to see from Nottingham Forest. Nottingham Forest were on the wrong end of yet another 3-2 score line this weekend, as the Reds suffered defeat to Newcastle United in the Premier League. But could we have got something out of this game if it wasn't for silly mistakes by our players and terrible refereeing decisions. After Forest had fought back from falling behind twice in the match, with goals from Elanga and Hudson-Odoi, and the score at 2-2, Awoniyi was sent through on goal from new goalkeeper Sels, only to taken out by the Newcastle keeper. Yet the referee and VAR refused to give a penalty, and within minutes Guimaraes had given the away team the lead and all three points. So who's faults is it for this defeat, should we blame VAR or should we look at our own in game errors for the cause. In todays video we will dissect Saturdays match and look at the key five points we can take from the match, such as where does this result leave us in regards to relegation and will the returning AFCON players offer us a turnaround in results. Let us know if you agree with our key takeaways from the Newcastle United defeat, and what you expect in the upcoming match against West Ham United. Nottingham Forest lost for the sixth time this season by 2-3 against Newcastle United, despite actually overall playing well and some would say being the better team. Yet again another controversial decision goes against Forest as Awoniyi was fouled while through on goal and VAR refused to overturn the call. Performing well is one thing, but getting points is now way more important and Forest haven't won in the league yet this year as their last win came against Manchester United on Boxing day How much trouble are Nottingham Forest now in? With point deductions now looming can Nuno turn this around? #nffc #nufc #epl ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ⭐⭐

Garry Birtles and Lewis McGugan will break down the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham as well discuss what is going wrong with the Reds. Nottingham Forest are beset with injuries as they prepare to welcome Brighton to the City Ground on Saturday. The most notable name on the list is Taiwo Awoniyi, who is out for up to four months after groin surgery. On top of that, Danilo and Murillo both look set to miss the game along with Callum Hudson-Odoi. Brighton are also struggling with Pervis Estupinan, Solly March, Danny Wellbeck and Julio Enciso definitely out. Koaru Mitoma is another big doubt. Today in the latest Nottingham Forest News, we discuss the team prediction for Nottingham Forest match at the City Ground against Brighton in the Premier League this weekend. We give our own match preview and thoughts on the game. So how will NFFC boss Steve Cooper set up his Forest team for this match against Brighton? After throwing away a 2-1 lead in the last match against West Ham United, can Forest bounce back against a Brighton team who play great football but are struck by an injury crisis at the moment. With the international break, Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi might have hoped that his long list of injuries might have shortened in time for this match against Nottingham Forest. However with a number of key players still unavailable for the weekend, De Zerbi might have to put together a make shift team for this match. In this match preview we will discuss potential line-ups for both teams. We will be talking about the system we expect to see from Nottingham Forest. Let us know your reaction and if you agree with our predicted Nottingham Forest line up. What changes would you make? #nottinghamforest #nffc #brighton ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
In the latest Nottingham Forest transfer news, we will discuss the striker situation at the City Ground, with another injury to main man Awoniyi, there is a desperate need to bring in a new goal scorer in the winter transfer window. Forest have been linked with a number of strikers around Europe and South America, we mentioned the other day about Forest interest in Serhou Guirassy and the next bundersliga striker to be linked to Nottingham Forest is Werder Bremen's Marvin Ducksch, the 29 year old is rumoured to cost around £15 million and could be available in the upcoming transfer window. Habib Diarra is a 19 year old midfielder who plays for Strasbourg in the French league, and is highly thought of around Europe, with the likes of Man Utd and Man City both rumoured to be interested in his signature. So Forest will have to act quickly if they are to get a head start in signing this promising French U21 International. t's October 28th - welcome dear listener to the latest edition of First State Kopites. I'm Paul and I am joined by Daz. We'll do a review of the Everton and Toulouse games and briefly look ahead, given Liverpool play Forest in less than 24 hours. Part One - The Merseyside Derby - 243rd version, Liverpool have 99 wins now. We need a red card and a penalty to beat this lot - not great for a team with title ambitions OR solid win given the international break The key decisions - which hardly feel like the 12 against 10 argument that we've heard. Interesting approach to Everton set pieces - 4 breaks in the first 20, could have picked better passes Everton had an xG of 0.29, if we'd played the final third of the match with 10 (again) do we really think they would have offered much? We had over 2 and that doesn't take account of most of the breakaways. Also bizarre that the Guardian's report decided to single out this game to talk about poor officiating. Young - first player to get 2 yellows against us since 2015 (Sadio Mane) - are the Tomkins/Beesley messages about refereeing bias seeping out there? Penalties at Anfield, fouls on Salah, and now 2 yellows. Sean called out the liability that Young seems to have become and we talked about if he gets a yellow in the first 20 for the cynical foul he usually commits, it will limit his ability to foul. That bit wasn't quite right, as the late challenge on Diaz wasn't great. Tsimikas should have had a yellow - to be fair, if Pawson had a better view of his 3rd foul it probably would have been a yellow. He just commits too many fouls. Konate should have had 2 argued Toffee TV. I didn't think the 2nd was a foul real time but on the replay it's clear that Ibou clips Beto. The first yellow did seem a bit soft though (and one wonders whether the Jota 2 yellows and the admission that the first should not have been given, played into this decision). The penalty is thrown in there as if it wasn't absolutely blatant - but there were 2 non-calls that Marcus Rashford may have been given (one of which the TV didn't even replay). Some bright performances - Gravenberch, Mac Allister and Szobozlai. Salah did not seem very sharp (but still has the most goal involvement in the Premier League), but Jota and Luis Diaz were bright at times. Darwin looked sharp when he came on. Briefly on Toulouse: Weaker line up than against USG. Some great performances - Gravenberch, Jota, Endo Definitely using these as training games - will be even more so for the next 3 you feel. Part Two - another big week: Forest 10am on Sunday (thanks to the UK clock changes) - what do we expect? Forest have dropped points against Luton and Burnley. Won at Chelsea, lost at Man City - 3 straight draws. Awoniyi has been out and they've had to rely on Chris Wood. They were potentially unlucky not to beat Luton (highest XG, most shots of their season). Reds will have Gakpo back but not Curtis, Tsimikas will continue at left back we assume. Strata beginning to develop - where are Forest? Predicted line up and scores Bournemouth in the EFL Cup - Europa League game In other news: Only Mo Salah corner - 7 goals, 4 assists - 144 PL goals for Liverpool in 227 appearances - 195 altogether for Liverpool - well past King Kenny and Stevie G on the all time list. Billy Liddell with 228 in 4th spot is next. Mane is 14th and Firmino 16th in that list. We will be back after the Forest game. Thanks to Daz for joining me. With Nottingham Forest potentially heading into a striker crisis at the start of next year, with main man Taiwo Awoniyi leaving for over a month to compete in the African Cup of Nations, is there a desperate need for Forest to sign a high quality alternative in the upcoming winter transfer window. Serhou Guirassy is the striker Nottingham Forest have been linked to today, and he is one of the hottest strikers in Europe right now having scored 13 goals in just 7 games for Bundesliga team Stuttgart, even out scoring England and Bayern Munich's Harry Kane! But will he solve the problem of who replaces Awoniyi during his absence from the team, well not exactly, as he also will more than likely be joining Awoniyi in the African Cup of Nation, as he represents Guinea on the international level. Let us know what you guys think of Serhou Guirassy, and if you would like to see him come to the City Ground in the next transfer window, and dont forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to Forest Fan TV. #nffc #stuttgart #nottinghamforest ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
