Phew. A second-string Forest team were given a scare by League One Exeter, who scored an early goal in each half to hold the Reds to a draw after extra time. Despite Ibrahim Sangaré assisting both Ramón Sosa and Taiwo Awoniyi in the first half, Forest failed to create enough chances and had to bring some of the big guns off the bench. The match was held up by lengthy treatment for Awoniyi's head injury (thankfully he will be ok), and in the end, Premier League class showed in the penalty shoot-out as Wood, Gibbs-White, Anderson and Williams netted from the spot. Rich and George report back the morning after the night before, bleary-eyed and relieved. Our next podcast will be this week's Friday 5, previewing the league match against Fulham and bringing you the top five stories from the City Ground. Thanks for listening. With Awoniyi going off injured against Exeter City, do we have enough backup? For Exclusive Content Join FFTV Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ForestFanTV Welcome to Forest Fan TV, your go-to source for all things Nottingham Forest! In today's video, we're diving deep into the latest developments from the City Ground, particularly focusing on the unfortunate injury to Taiwo Awoniyi during last night's FA Cup match against Exeter City. Awoniyi's injury, which has been confirmed as a broken nose and concussion, leaves Forest with only Chris Wood as a recognised striker, highlighting the thin squad depth in this critical position. We'll be discussing whether this injury underscores a recruitment mistake by not bolstering the team's depth in the January transfer window. With Forest aiming to maintain their top position in the league, the question arises: was it a significant oversight not to bring in additional firepower? How will this impact our performance for the remainder of the season, especially with the squad's current composition? Join us as we analyse the implications of this injury on the team's strategy, upcoming fixtures, and overall squad resilience. Get 5 FREE Loan Stocks Here ➡️ https://shorturl.at/wKnO2 Today, we've got some exciting news to share: Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has given the green light for a move to sign Colombian star midfielder Richard Rios from Palmeiras. Rios has been making waves, especially after his standout performances in the recent Copa America where he played a pivotal role in leading Colombia to the final. Reports suggest that the transfer fee could be around £16-17 million, which seems like a steal for such a talent. Would you like to see Rios at the City Ground this January? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below! Moving on to another piece of transfer news, there's an update on the Douglas Luiz situation. It appears that the Brazilian midfielder has no intention of moving to Nottingham Forest, as he believes it would be a step down from his current level. This statement has sparked some debate among fans, with some viewing it as disrespectful to our club. Is this a case of ambition or arrogance? We dive into this discussion and would love to hear your take on it. Finally, we have news on Forest's striker Taiwo Awoniyi. It looks like he's set to leave us this transfer window, with West Ham United as his likely destination. This move to a Premier League rival has left many fans disappointed but also curious about what this means for Forest's attacking options moving forward. The Reds have been linked with Eintracht Frankfurt's Omar Marmoush, while they already Taiwo Awoniyi and Chris Wood. In a surprising turn of events, it has been reported that Newcastle United have paid a substantial £22 million for Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos. This transfer fee is considered to be significantly above the player's actual market value, which could raise some eyebrows across the football community. Sources indicate that this inflated transfer fee was strategically designed to assist Nottingham Forest in easing their Profit and Sustainability (PSR) financial issues ahead of the crucial June 30th deadline. By securing a higher-than-expected fee for Vlachodimos, Forest are able to improve their financial standing and comply with regulatory requirements. Vlachodimos, a highly skilled goalkeeper with a solid track record, joined Forest from Benfica for around £4m, while his talents are undeniable, the £22 million price tag does seem inflated. And another transfer out of The City Ground who went for good money was Brandon Aguilera, who joined Rio Ave for nearly £6m last month. Nottingham Forest's striker Taiwo Awoniyi, is at the centre of transfer news today as there have been rumours linking Awoniyi with a move to Premier League rivals West Ham United. The Hammers are reportedly in the market for a powerful and dynamic forward, and Awoniyi fits the bill perfectly. And with Forest's need to raise funds before the PSR deadline at the end of June, could Awoniyi be the chosen one to ease the clubs financial woes. On the flip side, Forest are also looking to bolster their squad, and one name that has come up recently is Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville. The young Dutch winger has been turning heads with his performances in the Championship, and with Leeds failed attempt to return to the top division, plus financial concerns, they may be forced to sell one of their priced assets. But can Forest compete with clubs such as Liverpool, who are also reportedly interested in the winger. In other news Nottingham Forest are still yet to decide on how they will vote in the upcoming Premier League vote about whether to scrap VAR or not. Wolves are the team pushing for the removal of VAR, and with Forest being on the wrong end of a number of decision this season, it would be hard to believe they wouldn't follow suit. With Luton Town and Burnley both losing earlier in the day, Forest were all but guaranteed of survival heading into the evening match against Chelsea. And with goals from Boly and another beautiful strike from Callum Hudson-Odoi, it looked like Forest would survive in style. However two minutes of madness saw Chelsea turn it around and take all three points from the City Ground. Another good performances returns no points at the City Ground yet again, but who is to blame for the late turnaround from Chelsea. Chris Wood yet again was misfiring in front of goal, and with Awoniyi now back to full fitness, should Taiwo start in the final game of the season next week against Burnley? In this crucial clash between Everton and Nottingham Forest, two clubs grappling with financial challenges find themselves locked in a desperate struggle for survival. Join us as we delve into the depths of this relegation battle, dissecting the key players, tactics, and our predicted team for this matchup. In regards to the potential lineup for this match, Nuno might tempted to go with an unchanged team, with Awoniyi still unavailable, Chris Wood should lead the line once again. But what about Ryan Yates, who is marmite with the fans, as you either love him or hate him, but should he be dropped for this match in place of either Dominguez or Sangare? The reverse fixture finished 1-0 to Everton at the City Ground with a goal from Dwight McNeil, but with Everton's recent form resulting in a thumping at Stamford Bridge on Monday evening, is it a good time to play the Toffee's. With both teams worried about the consequences of losing such a key game, this match has all the signs of being a low scoring affair, but do you agree? In this match preview we will discuss potential line-ups for both teams. We will be talking about the system we expect to see from Nottingham Forest. After the shock and unfair late defeat to Liverpool last time out in the Premier League, Forest head into this away trip to Brighton desperate to avenge the injustice that happened at the City Ground. And with Fixtures against Brighton, Luton and Palace in the next few weeks, these are the matches Forest need to take points from. In regards to the potential lineup for this match, marquee signing Ibrahim Sangare has been training all week and should be match fit and ready to start this game, but will boss Nuno make any changes from the Liverpool match. Another player available and fit for this match is Chris Wood, so is there a chance Nuno drops main striker Awoniyi and brings in our top scorer this season? Brighton's form has been inconsistent in recent weeks, and after suffering a heavy defeat in the Europa League to Roma on Thursday night, they head into this match low on confidence. Brighton boss De Zerbi likes to change his starting lineup frequently and switches between a back four and at back five, so predicting their starting 11 can be tricky. In this match preview we will discuss potential line-ups for both teams. We will be talking about the system we expect to see from Nottingham Forest. Nottingham Forest were on the wrong end of yet another 3-2 score line this weekend, as the Reds suffered defeat to Newcastle United in the Premier League. But could we have got something out of this game if it wasn't for silly mistakes by our players and terrible refereeing decisions. After Forest had fought back from falling behind twice in the match, with goals from Elanga and Hudson-Odoi, and the score at 2-2, Awoniyi was sent through on goal from new goalkeeper Sels, only to taken out by the Newcastle keeper. Yet the referee and VAR refused to give a penalty, and within minutes Guimaraes had given the away team the lead and all three points. So who's faults is it for this defeat, should we blame VAR or should we look at our own in game errors for the cause. In todays video we will dissect Saturdays match and look at the key five points we can take from the match, such as where does this result leave us in regards to relegation and will the returning AFCON players offer us a turnaround in results. Nottingham Forest lost for the sixth time this season by 2-3 against Newcastle United, despite actually overall playing well and some would say being the better team. Yet again another controversial decision goes against Forest as Awoniyi was fouled while through on goal and VAR refused to overturn the call. Nottingham Forest are beset with injuries as they prepare to welcome Brighton to the City Ground on Saturday. The most notable name on the list is Taiwo Awoniyi, who is out for up to four months after groin surgery. On top of that, Danilo and Murillo both look set to miss the game along with Callum Hudson-Odoi. Brighton are also struggling with Pervis Estupinan, Solly March, Danny Wellbeck and Julio Enciso definitely out. Koaru Mitoma is another big doubt. We'll discuss the game and our potential line-up as Matt Davies is joined by Mikey Clarke and Emily Anderson Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Today in the latest Nottingham Forest News, we discuss the team prediction for Nottingham Forest match at the City Ground against Brighton in the Premier League this weekend. We give our own match preview and thoughts on the game. So how will NFFC boss Steve Cooper set up his Forest team for this match against Brighton? After throwing away a 2-1 lead in the last match against West Ham United, can Forest bounce back against a Brighton team who play great football but are struck by an injury crisis at the moment. With the international break, Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi might have hoped that his long list of injuries might have shortened in time for this match against Nottingham Forest. However with a number of key players still unavailable for the weekend, De Zerbi might have to put together a make shift team for this match. In this match preview we will discuss potential line-ups for both teams. We will be talking about the system we expect to see from Nottingham Forest. Let us know your reaction and if you agree with our predicted Nottingham Forest line up. What changes would you make? #nottinghamforest #nffc #brighton ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
In the latest Nottingham Forest transfer news, we will discuss the striker situation at the City Ground, with another injury to main man Awoniyi, there is a desperate need to bring in a new goal scorer in the winter transfer window. Forest have been linked with a number of strikers around Europe and South America, we mentioned the other day about Forest interest in Serhou Guirassy and the next bundersliga striker to be linked to Nottingham Forest is Werder Bremen's Marvin Ducksch, the 29 year old is rumoured to cost around £15 million and could be available in the upcoming transfer window. Habib Diarra is a 19 year old midfielder who plays for Strasbourg in the French league, and is highly thought of around Europe, with the likes of Man Utd and Man City both rumoured to be interested in his signature. So Forest will have to act quickly if they are to get a head start in signing this promising French U21 International. Should Nottingham Forest Sue Everton regarding their breach of FFP?Let us know what you guys think about this, and the potential new signings in the winter transfer window, and dont forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to Forest Fan TV. #nffc #nottinghamforest #werderbremen ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Chris vents his frustration on the lacklustre performance against Liverpool while Mat adds some bright conversation about star striker Taiwo Awoniyi. An Aston Villa preview follows a thought of the day about Worrall, Murillo, & Niakhate. And a review corner rounds off some score predictions.
t's October 28th - welcome dear listener to the latest edition of First State Kopites. I'm Paul and I am joined by Daz. We'll do a review of the Everton and Toulouse games and briefly look ahead, given Liverpool play Forest in less than 24 hours. Part One - The Merseyside Derby - 243rd version, Liverpool have 99 wins now. We need a red card and a penalty to beat this lot - not great for a team with title ambitions OR solid win given the international break The key decisions - which hardly feel like the 12 against 10 argument that we've heard. Interesting approach to Everton set pieces - 4 breaks in the first 20, could have picked better passes Everton had an xG of 0.29, if we'd played the final third of the match with 10 (again) do we really think they would have offered much? We had over 2 and that doesn't take account of most of the breakaways. Also bizarre that the Guardian's report decided to single out this game to talk about poor officiating. Young - first player to get 2 yellows against us since 2015 (Sadio Mane) - are the Tomkins/Beesley messages about refereeing bias seeping out there? Penalties at Anfield, fouls on Salah, and now 2 yellows. Sean called out the liability that Young seems to have become and we talked about if he gets a yellow in the first 20 for the cynical foul he usually commits, it will limit his ability to foul. That bit wasn't quite right, as the late challenge on Diaz wasn't great. Tsimikas should have had a yellow - to be fair, if Pawson had a better view of his 3rd foul it probably would have been a yellow. He just commits too many fouls. Konate should have had 2 argued Toffee TV. I didn't think the 2nd was a foul real time but on the replay it's clear that Ibou clips Beto. The first yellow did seem a bit soft though (and one wonders whether the Jota 2 yellows and the admission that the first should not have been given, played into this decision). The penalty is thrown in there as if it wasn't absolutely blatant - but there were 2 non-calls that Marcus Rashford may have been given (one of which the TV didn't even replay). Some bright performances - Gravenberch, Mac Allister and Szobozlai. Salah did not seem very sharp (but still has the most goal involvement in the Premier League), but Jota and Luis Diaz were bright at times. Darwin looked sharp when he came on. Briefly on Toulouse: Weaker line up than against USG. Some great performances - Gravenberch, Jota, Endo Definitely using these as training games - will be even more so for the next 3 you feel. Part Two - another big week: Forest 10am on Sunday (thanks to the UK clock changes) - what do we expect? Forest have dropped points against Luton and Burnley. Won at Chelsea, lost at Man City - 3 straight draws. Awoniyi has been out and they've had to rely on Chris Wood. They were potentially unlucky not to beat Luton (highest XG, most shots of their season). Reds will have Gakpo back but not Curtis, Tsimikas will continue at left back we assume. Strata beginning to develop - where are Forest? Predicted line up and scores Bournemouth in the EFL Cup - Europa League game In other news: Only Mo Salah corner - 7 goals, 4 assists - 144 PL goals for Liverpool in 227 appearances - 195 altogether for Liverpool - well past King Kenny and Stevie G on the all time list. Billy Liddell with 228 in 4th spot is next. Mane is 14th and Firmino 16th in that list. We will be back after the Forest game. Thanks to Daz for joining me. With Nottingham Forest potentially heading into a striker crisis at the start of next year, with main man Taiwo Awoniyi leaving for over a month to compete in the African Cup of Nations, is there a desperate need for Forest to sign a high quality alternative in the upcoming winter transfer window. Serhou Guirassy is the striker Nottingham Forest have been linked to today, and he is one of the hottest strikers in Europe right now having scored 13 goals in just 7 games for Bundesliga team Stuttgart, even out scoring England and Bayern Munich's Harry Kane! But will he solve the problem of who replaces Awoniyi during his absence from the team, well not exactly, as he also will more than likely be joining Awoniyi in the African Cup of Nation, as he represents Guinea on the international level. Let us know what you guys think of Serhou Guirassy, and if you would like to see him come to the City Ground in the next transfer window, and dont forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to Forest Fan TV. #nffc #stuttgart #nottinghamforest ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nottingham Forest #nffc spent a total of £108 million in the summer transfer window on 14 different players, with nearly half those players coming to Forest on deadline day! It all started with Chris Wood back at the start of the summer with the obligation to buy from #newcastle for £15m, but is that value for money compared to the transfer that came after this one? With a frantic deadline day the final man over the line was that of Origi on a loan deal for the season, who will offer cover for Awoniyi, and with his #premierleague experience with Liverpool, Origi could be a vital squad member for the long season ahead. With so many new faces coming into to Nottingham Forest, which signing offers the best value for money, and which player will have the most impact at the City Ground this season. In this video we will review all 14 of Nottingham Forest new signings, and rate them out of 10, for both their value for money and quality of signing. Make sure to let us know if you agree with our ratings, and what you believe is our best and worst signings of the summer transfer window. A fabulous result for Steve Cooper's Reds, as substitute Antony Elanga calmly slotted home on the break after good work by Mangala, Yates and Awoniyi to win the ball and set the winger free. Forest didn't have much possession, but in truth Matt Turner didn't have that much to do, although the Reds will be grateful for Nicholas Jackson's glaring miss. Steven and Tom report on the Reds' first away victory of the season, which can be summed up by Mauricio Pochettino's (paraphrased) statement that teams that don't score don't win many matches. We also hear from Callum Castel who sums up Forest's very busy transfer window for us. Last weekend Awoniyi became the third African player in Premier League history to score in seven consecutive matches, with a brilliant goal on the break against Manchester United. Also, we ask what we can expect from Ghana's Mohamed Kudus, with his move to West Ham, and from Brighton's young African players Simon Adingra and Carlos Baleba.Stuart looks ahead to the weekend's EPL action, and also gives us an update on the Saudi Pro League.
Please vote for Forest Fan TV on this link - https://footballcontentawards.com/voting/ - Best Podcast (Forest Fan TV - Beat the Drop), (Best New Content Creator - Forest Fan TV), (Best Club Content Creator Premier League - Forest Fan TV) Thank you for your support Nottingham Forest #nffc are very close to completing their 6th signing of the summer transfer window, with the signing of Argentinian Nicolás Domínguez, the 25 year old hard working midfielder is an experienced player having played a number of years in Serie A with #bologna. This deal is not a simple one, with a Forest player going in the other direction, as Freuler looks set to leave the City Ground in this swap deal. There will potentially be an addition fee onto that Nottingham Forest will have to pay to complete the signing of Dominguez, as his value is more than that of Freuler. But let us know your thoughts on the signing of Dominguez and if you are happy to see Freuler go, and is this an upgrade in our midfielder department. In other news Forest are trying to secure the signature of striker Michy Batshuayi, the former Chelsea man does have experience in the #premierleague, and has been scoring plenty in the Turkish league last season for #fenerbahçe. The reported fee is around the £6m mark, and at only 29 years old he should still be good enough to challenge Awoniyi in the forward position. Forest have also been linked with another central defender from the Spanish league who has a release clause of 20 million euros, we have all the information on this and much more, so dont forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to Forest Fan TV. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It was an opening day defeat at The Emirates, although a late rally from the Reds gave the home team a bit of a scare, when an electric break from Awoniyi and Elanga led to the big number 9 netting his first goal of the season. There's still work to do, as discussed by Steven Toplis, with George Edwards and Ellie Molloson, fresh back from north London. We also hear from Arsenal fan Chris, with his views on the game and what he thinks about Forest. We'll be back with a report after Friday's home match against Sheffield United. Nottingham Forest #nffc started their #premierleague campaign on Saturday with a trip to the Emirates to face #arsenal and took a 2 - 1 defeat. Opening games dont come much tougher than this as we headed down to London to take on the team that finished 2nd last season, and also invested over £200 million in player recruitment this summer. Arsenal Dominated the game but once Steve Cooper put on Elanga and Awoniyi the game started to change and we saw a great counter attacking goal Join the Grumpy Old Reds as they go through the match and look to pick out the positives as well as the areas of improvement With some injury concerns in central defence, and Brennan Johnson only recently returning to fitness, Cooper will have to shuffle his pack and it might come down to the players with the most match fitness that will start this game.
Phew. That was way closer than we would have liked, wasn't it? In the end, three very good goals (two for Awoniyi and one for Danilo), plus a Morgan Gibbs-White penalty, saw Forest take the points despite their best efforts to let Saints back into the match. Rich Ferraro is joined by Adam to discuss a game that saw the Reds climb three places, and three points, out of the relegation zone, with special mentions for Mangala, Danilo, Awoniyi, Worrall and the almost-goal by Felipe. We also hear from Forest fan Emilka and Southampton fan Chris with their reflections on another special night at the City Ground.

A great victory for the Reds, as Taiwo Awoniyi's goal against his former club was enough to defeat Liverpool. Morgan Gibbs-White and Ryan Yates could have added to the lead before Dean Henderson made several late saves to preserve the points. Rich Ferraro is joined by Baz to discuss the match, the tactics and notable performances from the likes of Kouyate, Yates and Awoniyi, although the whole team performed well. We also discuss Steve Cooper's tactical plan and how the players seem to be working as a unit - does this give the Reds a chance of avoiding the drop this season? It's been a great weekend of football for Super Eagles players with a number of our players putting in excellent performances for their respective club sides! In Italy, Victor Osimhen got his Serie A campaign off to an excellent start for Napoli bagging a goal & assist on Monday night in their 5-2 thrashing of Verona while Ademola Lookman scored on his debut for Atalanta in a 2-0 win over Sampdoria. Usman Abdallah will be the 3rd Assistant while Eboboritse Uwejamomere will be the Match Analyst & Ike Shorunmu will be the Goalkeepers' Trainer. I also ran through how our Super Eagles players performed in the top European leagues over the past week including Taiwo Awoniyi scoring a brace on the last day of the Bundesliga season in Union Berlin's 3-2 win over Bochum to reach 15 league goals & 20 goals in all competitions to cap off a very impressive season in Germany as his side finished 5th to qualify for the Europa League In Italy, Victor Osimhen scored his 14th league goal of the season for Napoli in their 3-0 win over Genoa over the weekend. David Okereke also scored his 7th Serie A goal of the season for Venezia in their 1-1 draw away to Roma as their relegation was confirmed. In the Netherlands, Cyriel Dessers scored his 21st goal of the season in all competitions as Feyenoord ended the Eredivisie season in 3rd place after losing 2-1 to Twente at home with all focus now on the UEFA Conference league final against Jose Mourinho's Roma while in Turkey, Anthony Nwakaeme was on the scoresheet yet again for Champions Trabzonspor in their 2-1 win at home vs Altay to reach 12 league goals for the season in addition to his 10 assists. In European football news, Asisat Oshoala will be competing in the UEFA Women's Champions League final this Saturday for Barcelona against Lyon & she ended her league campaign as the league's top scorer with 20 strikes, which is super impressive considering her spells on the sideline during the season. Also Rangers Joe Aribo, Calvin Bassey & Leon Balogun will contest the Europa League final against Eintracht Frankfurt this Wednesday in Seville with the chance to secure both a prestigious trophy and Champions League football for next season if they win the final. Dr. Awoniyi preaches on the importance of putting your trust in the Lord. His sermon comes from Luke 5:1-9.
In this episode of the podcast, I preview our upcoming World Cup qualifiers against the Central African Republic taking place on Thursday October 7th at the Teslim Balogun stadium with the squad announced last week including 1st time call ups for Rangers left back Calvin Bassey & Union Berlin hotshot striker Taiwo Awoniyi who's been rewarded for his excellent start to the season in the Bundesliga and UEFA Conference League for Union Berlin. Frank Onyeka and Kevin Akpoguma are also back in the squad after missing out in September after both tested positive for COVID 19 then. Awoniyi scored a brace on Sunday for Union Berlin away to his former club Mainz to go along with his goal in the UEFA Conference League earlier in the week on Thursday taking his tally to 8 for the season in just 11 games Kelechi Iheanacho got his 1st Premier League start of the season on Sunday away to Crystal Palace and justified his selection by scoring his 1st Premier League goal of the season on his 25th birthday so hopefully we'll see him retain his starting spot going forward Maduka Okoye was unlucky to be on the losing side after making 9 saves in Sparta Rotterdam's 2-1 away loss to high-flying PSV Eindhoven & Ahmed Musa also grabbed an assist for Fatih Karagümrük as they romped to a 3-1 home win against former champions Istanbul Basekshir If you have any questions or topics you would like discussed on the podcast, we'd love to hear from you using the hashtag #NigeriaFootballWeekly via our social media channels below or send us an email. In this episode of Sports Orbit, we dissect Taiwo Awoniyi's late invitation to Super Eagles ahead of the World Cup qualifiers double-header... This and more on a packed show.

Link to bioRxiv paper: http://biorxiv.org/cgi/content/short/2020.09.29.315374v1?rss=1 Authors: Petrov, P. B., Sustar, V., Awoniyi, L. O., Tolvanen, M., Mattila, P. Abstract: Protein-protein interactions govern the cellular decision-making and various functions. Thus, identifying new interactions between proteins can significantly facilitate our understanding on the mechanistic principles of protein functions. Coevolution between proteins is a sign of functional communication and as such provides a powerful approach to search for novel molecular partners. However, evolutionary analyses of large arrays of proteins, in silico, is a highly time-consuming effort, which has prevented the usage of this method beyond protein pairs or narrow protein families, for example. Here, we developed autoCoEv, a user-friendly computational pipeline for the search of coevolution between hundreds and even thousands of proteins. Driving over 10 individual programs, with CAPS2 as a key software for coevolution detection, autoCoEv achieves seamless automation and parallelization of the workflow. In addition, we provide a patch to CAPS2 source code to improve its statistical output, allowing for multiple comparisons correction. We apply the method to inspect coevolution among 297 individual proteins identified to be in close proximity to the B cell receptor (BCR) before and after receptor activation. We successfully detected coevolutionary relations between the proteins, predicting novel partners and clusters of interacting molecules. We conclude that AutoCoEv can be used to predict protein interaction from large datasets of hundreds, and with aid of super-computing recourses even thousands of proteins in a time and cost efficient manner. On this week's show we speak to Nigeria youth international striker Taiwo Awoniyi, who joined Liverpool on a long-term deal in 2015, but is still out on loan and waiting for his chance to play for The Reds. We ask why big clubs in Europe are signing players from Africa when there's no guarantee of them getting a work permit, and how the system operates. Plus, lots of views on what needs to be done at Manchester United, and Stuart's views on Manchester City's treble-winning season.
