What is love? Is it a feeling? Does the Greek help define love as many Bible teachers suggest, or is it more complex? If “Creator” is inadequate to describe God, then we must ask if love could ever be defined … Continue reading →

(rav Avraham Méïr Lévi) by Rav David Touitou
Hypocrisy is basically having multiple personalities. Dissimulation is part of the definition of hypocrisy. It is like "simulation" but with the "di" it means pretending to be two (or more) different people at the same time. The inner conflict and confusion affects the emotions and makes them hard to control. Thus, we have moods, which in fact are multiple spirits that we allow ourselves to be subject to, manifested by anger, melancholy, frustration, or foolishness. Moods are very similar to the way alcohol affects people. Hypocrisy is common among all people, with the exception of those who have been truly born of the Sprit of God. The only kind of person that is of any use to the kingdom of God, or to the good of others on this earth, is a person who is free from hypocrisy.
This live stream is much needed. So many peole do not understand that sin is sin regardless of the situation. One CAN NOT do evil that good may come. Sadly many fall into the tray of 1 Timothy 1:7 of not knowin what they say nor what they are affirming by what they say. It is like we have forgotten how to think.

On this edition of Parallax Views, Aaron Good, a protégé of previous Parallax Views guest Peter Dale Scott, joins us to discuss his dissertation American Exception: Hegemony and the Dissimulation of the State. Hot off his appearance on TrueAnon, Aaron explains to us his concept of the Tripartite State as it relates to ideas about the Democratic State, the National Security State, and finally (and most controversially) the Deep State (although Aaron's conception of the Deep State, much like Peter Dale Scott's, is very different than the popular QAnon formulation of the concept). In this conversation we discuss:- Peter Dale Scott's conception of the "Overworld" and Underworld of power.- How Aaron became involved in subjects related to Scott's work- The formation of the CIA and its relation to Wall Street- U.S. supported coup d'états and support of Latin American death squads- The Nixon era, Watergate, the Church Committee, the election of Ronald Reagan, and America's political realignments- The John Birch Society, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the Trilateral Commission and other organizations/groups- The Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) scandal, The Safari Club, international arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi of Iran/Contra infamy, intelligence agencies, and other skullduggery- Alliances between the mob and capitalism; United Fruit Company; Meyer Lansky; Nugen-Hand Bank; CIA agent Miles Copeland's comments about a "CIA within a CIA"- The revolving door between government, particularly intelligence agencies, and the private sectors of the military-industrial-complex- John Locke, the State of Emergency and Continuity of Government (COG)- Nazi legal theorist Carl Schmitt, the Cold War, and the concepts of the Dual State, the State of Exception, and the Sovereign- The hegemonic nature of what Aaron calls the Tripartite State- Peter Dale Scott's ideas about parapolitics and deep politics; the deep political system- Aaron and Peter Dale Scott's recent CovertAction Magazine essay "Was the Now-Forgotten Murder of One Man on September 9, 2001 a Crucial Pre-condition for 9/11?"

Welcome to “Believing Together” daily podcast, a ministry of the Kerwin Baptist Church in Kernersville North Carolina. Our prayer is that through these daily devotions, we can believe together, even when we can't be together. Please join us every Monday through Friday as we strive to continue “daily with one accord”, as the first church did in Acts chapter 2. Our prayer is that God would use this podcast to be a blessing to your spiritual life.

Hello! No SSG again this week but there's news, letters, reviews and general video game related banter galore! Meanwhile, Ste offers to Save Your Soul by offering to hear your confessions! Links for more info are below... Plus, as mentioned in the show, here's Phil the (Under)Caretaker's full review of the Xbox Series X: --- Here's my cutting edge review of the Xbox Series X, offering in depth and personal analysis that would make Digital Foundry mad with jealousy! I'm sure I'm the ideal target demographic for next gen in that I don't have a 4K TV, nor had any previous interest in getting one. I initially only made moves to get the Series X because my original Xbox One was on its last legs with days firmly numbered. I became more determined to bag a pre-order when one of my older brothers passed away in August – this coming just 4 months after we lost our Mum to Covid-19 in May. I had three older brothers but this one in particular introduced me to gaming, amongst many other things (like Star Wars, D&D, Ghostbusters and swearing). We already had a black and white, multi-game, Pong clone in the house but I can still remember the day I went home from primary school to find he’d bought an Atari 2600 that blew us all away – this would’ve been around 1983/84 so I’m pretty sure he got it cheap, post-‘crash’. Playing on this glorious technicolour, albeit blocky, graphical experience quickly became a family spectator event, similar to whenever we rented a video from the shop down the road. He later picked up a Commodore Vic-20, then a C64 and later an Atari ST (my best mate at the time had one and that swayed our loyalty for the Atari/Amiga wars to come). So, basically, video games and my brother went hand in hand. They were one of our things and, despite him not being an active player for the past few years due to ill health, he was very much an active spectator and you could tell he was still awed by even the slightest advancement in the technology, still clearly remembering how far we’d come from the tech we had in the early 80s. So, no, I certainly didn’t need to go next gen just yet but considering the year we've had I felt allowed to treat myself, not that I’m trying to justify the spend! And my brother would’ve approved, I’m fairly certain. It’s gaming as a deeply personal, connecting, activity. Anyway, after a week and a half with it, I've found the Series X to be an impressive piece of kit. It’s a leap similar to (but bigger/more than) when I went from my original PS4 to the PS4 Pro. Everything that should be enhanced for the Xbox One X and XSX just 'is' (apparently as long as the Devs/publishers have approved it…) with differences being noticeable despite my lack of 4K telly – improved textures, frame and draw rates being the noticeable differences along with load times. It's bloomin' fast, which you'd expect from hardware like this! Resource hungry games like Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, Valhalla, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Elite: Dangerous load up from a standing start much quicker than on the old Xbox One - we're talking seconds rather than minutes - plus "Quick Resume" is very good indeed and makes "getting a quick game in" much less hassle. Yes, I know we've had it on phones, tablets, PCs and, in a way, the Switch for years but, you know, better late than never. There are still bugs in the system though – I’ve noticed that AC: Valhalla certainly used Quick Resume for the first week or so but doesn’t anymore. Microsoft have said some games have had it disabled while they fix things so I assume that’s what has happened here. Luckily I’ve not had any of the other reported issues with my day one tech – hopefully writing this doesn’t jinx that! I’ve not suffered any random shut downs or disc drive failures, or noisiness. In fact, the system is very quiet indeed but, yes, it runs hot. As a PC gamer as well, I’m used to that, though. Nature of the beast. It’s certainly not ‘burning’ hot, though, and has never had smoke billowing out of it like a chimney... Size wise, it’s not a huge distraction sitting on my TV unit – It sits next to my telly like one of the monoliths from 2001: A Space Odyssey only much less imposing. It’s about as tall as the PS4 Pro when stood on end and just happens to be a bit wider. The controller is... an Xbox controller. It feels both very familiar and also a little bit different, like someone has been moving the furniture around while I've been out of the house... It feels a tad smaller than the Xbox One controller and the sides seem to be angled inwards a little more (or it feels like they are!) The 'grips' are hard plastic so I'm not sure how effective they'll be in the long run and the D-Pad is the “satellite dish” variant from their Elite controllers which I always avoided but, OK, it's not too bad in practice! It’s been widely reported and moaned about on social media that, yes, there is a distinct lack of unique launch titles and, sure, that is the case but I went in eyes wide open knowing this. I picked up Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla which I could only imagine takes about an hour to load on a last gen machine and probably runs like a 3-legged donkey. In black and white. Allegedly. On the Series X it loads in no time, runs smoothly and looks lovely (you could view it as Assassin’s Creed does Witcher 3 with Vikings. Vikings!!! 7/10). It shows promise and potential for what is to come and as likely as night follows day follows night we all know it won’t be long before some amazing games come along that will take full advantage of the tech. With the Series X, it's definitely evolution rather than revolution. A kind of "PC Gaming Lite" and I’m completely fine with that. With not having to work out a whole new system whilst at the same time having something set up to handle the next 7+ years of new gaming, as well as a catalogue of games stretching back to 2001? I'm very happy with that. It also doubles up as an innovative fan heater which could be a welcome boon to some as we enter the cold winter months! 7/10 --- Please do send your emails to us at team@onelifeleft.com for inclusion in future shows! Believing in yourself and living without self-imposed limits - with social media sensation turned pro boxer and rapper, KSI. KSI has over 21 million YouTube subscribers and his videos have been viewed six billion times. He has a social media reach of over 50 million, including 5.6 million followers on Twitter, eight million on Instagram and 3.2 million monthly Spotify listeners. He also now boasts the third most followed music channel in the UK. But KSI started out commentating on FIFA matches in his bedroom aged 14 as a way to entertain his friends. Eventually his audience grew so big he decided to drop out of college against the wish of his parents to follow his YouTube dream. It paid off in a big way. KSI keeps reinventing himself, both as a pro boxer who famously beat fellow YouTuber Logan Paul in America, and as a rapper. His new album is called Dissimulation, which means concealing one's thoughts and feelings. That is something KSI admits to having done that in the past, revealing that his online persona is very different to the character known by his friends and family as JJ. In this episode KSI talks about embracing vulnerability as well as the responsibility of being a role model. He also explains why he is so determined to prove people wrong with his work, and why he is evidence that anyone can achieve anything in life - if they believe in themselves and work both hard and smart. As ever please get in touch with your thoughts: @simonmundie.

This lecture discusses the 19th century philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche, and focuses on his essay On Truth and Lies in an Extra-Moral Sense. Here we examine Nietzsche's discussion of the human intellect. Like other philosophers he considers it to be a distinctively human capacity, but by contrast to them, he thinks that its focus isn't attaining truth, but rather that it is involved in dissimulation and lying. A CALL FOR REFORM AND A BALANCED APPROACH TOWARDS THE PROPHETIC MOVEMENT AND ITS EXTRAVAGANCES BELOVED, it is ABOUT TIME WE RECOGNIZE THE INBALANCES THAT ARE CAUSING NUISANCE in THE BODY OF CHRIST. PARTICULARLY in THE CASE OF FALSE PROPHETS in THIS SEASON. THE BOOK OF JEREMIAH CHAPTER 5 VERSE 26 TO 31 SAYS. "For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men. As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich. filthy rich. They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge. Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? . A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land. The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?". Beloved, lets examine three key points that will help identify false prophets. Point number 1. They are filthy rich. Brethren, it is common nowadays to see men that call themselves prophets, bragging about their private jets which they use to go visit corrupt leaders, which they somehow helped get elected. Any person with a sound mind should never desire to be associated with corruption but somehow these false prophets have no shame to the point whereby they brag about it. Point number 2. They deceive many. Here again we see in the Book of Lamentations chapter 2 verse 14. It says "Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens". In other words, instead of turning the people towards God through repentance, their focus in on other things that have no value, hence people are deceived and make no progress. Point number 3. They prophesy falsely. Here again we see in Jeremiah chapter 14 verse 14, it says. "Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.". HERE IS HOW THE American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, Fifth Edition DEFINES "DECEPTION". 1. A MISLEADING FALSEHOOD. 2. DISSEMBLING, DISSIMULATION. 3. AN ILLUSORY FEAT CONSIDERED MAGICAL BY NAIVE OBSERVERS. 4. MAGIC TRICK. 5. THAUMATURGY. 6. ILLUSION. BELOVED, THE BIBLE WARNS us AGAINST FALSE PROPHETS. HERE IS WHAT THE BOOK OF MATHEW CHAPTER 24 VERSE 11 SAYS. "AND MANY FALSE PROPHETS SHALL RISE, AND SHALL DECEIVE MANY". IN MARK CHAPTER 14 VERSE 22. IT SAYS. "FALSE CHRISTS AND FALSE PROPHETS SHALL RISE, AND SHALL SHEW SIGN AND WONDERS, TO SEDUCE, IF IT WERE POSSIBLE, EVEN THE ELECT". Now YOU MAY BE ASKING YOURSELF, HOW ON EARTH CAN WE DISCERN BETWEEN A TRUE PROPHET versus A FALSE PROPHET? THAT IS A VERY GOOD AND IMPORTANT QUESTION. THE BIBLE SAYS THAT YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUIT. ONE OF THE PROBLEMS THAT HAS CONTRIBUTED TO THE RISE OF WHAT THE BIBLE CALLS FALSE PROPHETS IS THE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE BODY OF CHRIST. THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS THAT THERE ARE CHRISTIANS THAT DO NOT READ THEIR BIBLE. MOST CIVILIZED AND PROSPEROUS NATIONS IN THE WORLD BELIEVE IN HARD WORK AND SACRIFICE TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS. AFRICAN NATIONS ON THE OTHER HAND ARE A DIFFERENT STORY. THEY BELIEVE IN SUPERSTITIONS AND ARE THE MOST EMPOVERISHED ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH. BESIDES SUPERSTITIONS, THEY ARE ALSO PLAGUED WITH CORRUPTION.
