Reports claim Prince William is becoming more forceful behind the scenes as King Charles prepares to travel, with insiders describing a sharper, more assertive Prince of Wales. We look at claims William is already shaping the monarchy's future, why family tensions with Harry, Meghan, and Andrew continue to complicate that effort, and whether he would strip the Sussex titles if given the chance. Plus, could Peter Phillips' wedding put William and Harry in the same room, and what an old gap-year photo reveals about William long before the throne.Get episodes of Palace Intrigue by becommming a paid subscriber on Apple Podcasts. On this afternoon's Palace Intrigue, Prince Edward is reportedly the latest royal to lose patience with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, amid claims Easter plans were disrupted by Andrew's housing shuffle on the Sandringham estate. We also look at the Daily Mail's extraordinary report on Sarah Ferguson allegedly sofa-surfing, cycling through three phones, and feeling increasingly rattled, plus new claims that she is being warned off another memoir. Then: Radar wonders whether Andrew has a mystery woman in his life, local residents reportedly turn his Norfolk exile into a tourist attraction, and royal watchers continue dissecting the Easter guest list as Princess Anne appears to warmly welcome Peter Phillips' future stepdaughter into the fold.Get episodes of Palace Intrigue by becommming a paid subscriber on Apple Podcasts. King Charles and Queen Camilla will attend Easter Matins at St George's Chapel, but much of the interest this year is focused less on the service itself and more on who will — and will not — be there.Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly set to miss the gathering, with sources suggesting the decision says more about power inside the family than holiday scheduling. We break down who is expected to attend, why William is said to be “tightening the circle,” and what this year's Easter lineup may reveal about the monarchy's evolving shape.Plus: Beatrice and Edoardo are reportedly considering a move abroad, Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling announce their wedding date, and a royal expert says the rift between King Charles and Andrew may now be beyond repair.Get episodes of Palace Intrigue by becommming a paid subscriber on Apple Podcasts. In this episode of The Choral Director's Toolbox, host Dr. William Baker advocated to "Rehearse with the End in Mind," adapting Stephen Covey's timeless principle to the art of rehearsal planning. With practical wisdom drawn from decades on the podium, Dr. Baker discusses time management, strategic pacing, and the discipline required to prepare an entire program within limited rehearsal hours without creating unnecessary stress for singers. This week's listener question comes from Dale in San Diego, who asks how to respond when a performance does not go well. Drawing inspiration from Olympic figure skating and the joyful artistry of gold medalist Alysa Liu, Dr. Baker reflects on humility, resilience, and the professional grace required in both triumph and disappointment. To submit your question to The Choral Director's Toolbox, write to us at Toolbox@FestivalSingers.org. Today's inspiration is Thomas Tallis' "O Lord, in Thee Is All My Trust," performed by The Tallis Scholars under the direction of Peter Phillips, a luminous and fitting selection for the Lenten season. Join us for an episode on preparation, perspective, and the enduring pursuit of excellence in choral art.
