What a lovely time...
In this first episode of our second season we've invited UK Americana singer Elles Bailey. The Blues Podcast is presented by the inimitable Big Boy Bloater – the current drive time presenter for Feedback Radio and former host of the popular Blues Magazine Show for Team Rock Radio. The naturally charming Big Boy Bloater knows what makes musicians tick and how to get inside their head, which is what makes The Blues Podcast so special – to find out about the person behind the music. It's a chat amongst friends where they sit down and chew the fat of life and what has shaped them into who they are. #TheBluesPodcast #ellesbailey
Not surpising...
Surely her time is now...
Welcome to our first episode of 2022 guys, ironically it's episode 22 as well. This episode the boys at CountrifiedUK create their ‘Class of 2022'. Way back in Episode 4 we created our ‘Class of 2021' so we wanted to create one right at the start of the year. We did our ‘Class of 2022' slightly different this time, 10 artists, 5 from the USA and 5 from the UK. Alex chose his 5 from the UK which included; Jade Helliwell, Jake Aldridge, Elles Bailey, Harleymoon Kemp and Jack and Tim. Blaine chose his 5 artists from the USA which included; Morgan Wade, Ernest, Alana Springsteen, Chayce Beckham and Restless Road. They go into depth on the reason behind why these artists have managed to get the crown of CountrifiedUK Class of 2022'.We also have our first independent artist of 2022. We are lucky to feature ‘Suzi Kory' who is a Canadian based country artist. Her track ‘A Better Man' plays out our show. This track is a powerful one with a strong meaning behind it. It's all about men struggle with mental health so give it a listen and give Suzi a follower and check out some of her other work.
Odd video though...
This episode is brought to you live from 'The British Country Music Festival 2021' at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. We bring you coverage from all the 3 days of live music, with interviews with the artists and feedback through out the days. This was a special event for us as it was the first time we have been able to cover a live event and the first time in conducting face to face interviews. We are joined by The Remedy Club, Hayley McKay, Tommy Atkins, Elles Bailey and Fine lines. We got to interview these artists after their sets and find out how they enjoyed their performances. We also have Tommy Atkins to close out our show with his latest single 'Time of the month'. This track is taken from Tommy's latest album 'Truth be told' which came out at the beginning of September. To find more of Tommy's work head over to his website at www.tommyatkinsmusic.comTo find more content from the weekend from us which include pictures with artists, live performances and the venue itself, then head to Instagram and Youtube @CountrifiedUKThanks for listening guysAlex and Blaine
