It's Endometriosis Awareness Month. Ali's guest this week, Holly Abel, was eleven years old when her debilitating periods started. For decades, doctors told her it was “normal.” That she was dramatic. Hormonal. Sensitive. It wasn't normal. Kaj dejansko pomenijo stotine milijard dolarjev, ki si jih lastijo najbogatejši, ter kako je prišlo do tega, da ima danes Elon Musk toliko premoženja, da bi moral povprečni ameriški delavec zanj varčevati celotno plačo kar 14 milijonov let? Ob vseh medijskih podobah multimilijarderjev in njihovega razkošnega načina življenja je danes vsakomur jasno, da na svetu obstajajo posamezniki, ki zaradi svojega bogastva živijo življenja, ki so od naših oddaljena svetlobna leta. In vendar vse unikatne obleke, torbice in nakit, graščine z bazeni, zasebna letala, megalomanske poletne hišice na zasebnih otokih in bombastična poročna slavja, ki se bleščijo s fotografij novic pod rubriko »znani«, niti približno ne zarisujejo resnično vesoljskih dimenzij premoženja, ki si ga danes lastijo najbogatejši. Še več, če se ozremo na številke ocen njihovega premoženja, nam hitro postane jasno, da so čutno dojemljivi izrazi njihovega bogastva le drobtinica vsega, kar si ti ljudje dejansko lastijo. Kako si torej predstavljati okrog 850 milijard dolarjev najbogatejšega zemljana Elona Muska, dobrih 250 milijard dolarjev Larrya Pagea ali še vedno krepko čez 200 milijard Sergeya Brina, Marka Zuckerberga, Jeffa Bezosa in Larrya Ellisona? Koliko so te sicer hitro spreminjajoče se številke, ki valujejo v skladu s spreminjanjem borznih vrednosti podjetij, sploh nekaj, kar smo si zmožni zamisliti? Ter kako smo prispeli do situacije, v kateri ima 12 najbogatejših enako premoženja kot revnejša polovica človeštva in lahko s svojim bogastvom ne le kupijo prav vse, kar si morejo zamisliti, ampak uveljavljajo tudi svojo politično moč ter krojijo naša življenja? To so nekatera od vprašanj, ki se jim posvečamo v tokratni Intelekti. La filmació correspon al casament de la parella formada per Carmen Artigas i Antoni Costa, que va tenir lloc a l'església de la Concepció de Barcelona el 17 de juny del 1922. Beli Artigas -amb permís dels descendents, que sempre han cregut en el testimoni de familiars que ho certifiquen però els agradaria corroborar-ho- ha publicat la filmació al seu perfil de twitter i, a la vegada, un dels perfils de referència a la xarxa, 'Efemerides d'arquitectura', ho ha repiulat en un interessantissim fil que assegura que l'home de la imatge és Gaudí, i que a la vegada desgrana tots i cadascun dels exemples gràfics que els darrers anys han portat controvèrsia sobre aquest assumpte. El vincle sitgetà de la història és que, acabada la guerra, la parella Artigas-Costa construí la seva casa al passeig de la Ribera -a l'alçada dels números 58-59- i allí hi va viure durant molts anys. El pare de Carmen, un industrial de la Pobla de Lillet, va conèixer Gaudí arran d'una curta estada de l'arquitecte a la casa familiar del municipi berguedà, i aleshores li encarregà el disseny del jardí de la finca. Tako suhoparno preglejmo dogodke preteklih dni.V Radencih, kjer imajo tri srca, jim je zaradi te koronarne inflacije zmanjkalo mehkih tkiv za ostale organe. Najbolj očitno za možgane. Tako sta se na seji občinskega sveta stepla poslanca. Oziroma eden se je tepel, drugi pa ga zdaj toži. Če se stepejo poslanci na državni ravni, človek še razume, kaj pa lahko predstavnika ljudstva razjezi do fizičnega napada med razpravo o pločnikih, krožiščih in čistilnih napravah, nam ni uspelo izvedeti. Zdaj pa h kulturi. Vrhunec preteklega kulturnega konca tedna je bila premiera filma o Melaniji Trump. Dokumentarnega filma. Kot vemo, je žena ameriškega predsednika naše gore nekoliko uveli list. In kot tudi vemo, so kritiki film raztrgali. Kar je zelo pogumno, še sploh v Sloveniji. Namreč za lik in delo brhke Melanije je vsaj do nedavnega skrbela predsednica republike, ko je bila še v advokaturi. Kar nekaj dolgih jezikov, ali pač pisunov, kot smo sami, je prek nje občutilo dolgo roko ameriške pravice, ko so hoteli služiti na Melanijin račun, in so kršili avtorske, oziroma njim podobne pravice. Zato je biti filmski kritik na Slovenskem trenutno zelo pogumno dejanje, kajti če privežeš ženo ameriškega predsednika na cineastični pranger, si lahko nakoplješ na glavo slovensko predsednico – ki je, mimogrede, že začela sama o sebi govoriti v tretji osebi – oziroma njeno odvetniško pisarno. Zato velja biti previden in pogumni slovenski filmski kritiki, ki trgajo desničarsko mojstrovino na koščke, tvegajo še kaj več kot le svojo službo. Seveda smo v naši redakciji šampioni oportunizma in si zaradi lastne varnostni filma sploh nismo ogledali. Tako da nam ni treba soditi. Kajti kot velja v največji svetovni demokraciji zadnje tedne: »Ne sodi in ne boš obsojen!«Ampak raziskovalni duh ter stare filmske povezave nam niso dali miru in izvedeli smo, da sta v Belo hišo priromala dva predloga za filmsko ovekovečenje Melanije Trump. Enega, tega ki je bil končno tudi realiziran, je dostavil Amazon, po prijateljski ceni, drugega pa Disneyjevi studii. V skladu s tradicijo so pri Disneyju predlagali animiran celovečerni film z Melanijino zgodbo. A se je prva dama vseeno odločila za klasično kinematografijo, kljub obljubi, da bi bila sprejeta na Panteon Disneyjevih princes.Uspelo nam je pridobiti sinopsis Disneyjeve risanke o Melaniji in tako kot prvi medij, ne le v Sloveniji, objavljamo odlomke iz tega žal nerealiziranega dela. "Mala Melanija v revni hišici ob Savi sanja o lepšem življenju v pogojih tržnega gospodarstva. Sanja, da bo postala princesa in v deročo vodo vrže kovanec za srečo. Sicer ne postane princesa takoj; na mestu, kjer je kovanec padel v vodo pa zgradijo hidrocentralo. Njena lepota in revščina jo končno pripeljeta v obljubljeno deželo. Kjer se cedita med in mleko ter ob njiju na zabavah tudi človeški izločki. Melanijo, ki ima raztrgana oblačila, obleko pa polno pepela, ki ga mora čistiti po bogatih hišah, na zabavo povabita znana Disneyjeva junaka Tom in Jeffrey. Tam ji Jeffrey predstavi Donalda Ducka, še enega Disneyjevega junaka, vendar mora Melanija zbežati z zabave, ker ji bo opolnoči potekla viza. Donald jo išče; ko jo najde na srednji strani barvne revije, jo obišče v njeni revni sobici in jo zasnubi. Melanija je mehkega srca, še sploh, ko izve, da je Donald v bistvu sin Strica Skopušnika, ki se koplje v denarju. Ob tem izve, da se bo Donald iz grdega račka spremenil v princa takoj, ko se mu zgodi čista ljubezen, ali pa če postane ameriški predsednik. Ker pa tudi Donald ni modre krvi, jima dobra vila podari sina, ki pa je baron že ob rojstvu. Ker s čisto ljubeznijo zaradi viharja, imenovanega Stormy, ni nič, postane Donald ameriški predsednik; a se namesto v princa spremeni v Shreka. Mediji par imenujejo »lepotica in zver«, kar Melanijo moti, in zato se z Donaldom še enkrat prijavita v Belo hišo. Ko pa urok tudi drugič ne popusti, je možnost za rešitev in izpolnitev Melanijine življenjske želje najti princa na belem konju le v iskreni ljubezni. Ali pa v tretjem mandatu." Kot rečeno, je bil Disneyjev predlog zavrnjen, saj naj bi bilo v risanki preveč sledi ekspresionizma iz obdobja filma noir, medtem ko si gledalci želijo lahkotnejše vsebine. Zato so se v Beli hiši odločili za Amazonov scenarij, ki sledi samo dvajsetim dnem v življenju Melanije Trump.

Predsednik vlade Robert Golob je nedopustno vplival na delo policije in kršil integriteto, je v končnem poročilu v zadevi Bobnar ugotovila Komisija za preprečevanje korupcije. KPK je razkrila tudi SMS-sporočila, ki jih je premier poslal nekdanji ministrici Tatjani Bobnar. Gre zgolj za dve telefonski sporočili, v katerih premier izraža zaskrbljenost nad kadrovsko stisko v policiji, odgovarjajo v kabinetu predsednika vlade. Prepričani so, da to ne predstavlja kršitve integritete. Golobov zagovornik Stojan Zdolšek napoveduje, da bodo postopek nadaljevali pred sodiščem. Drugi poudarki: - Slovenija med državami, ki so ob pozivih k ustavitvi nasilja v Iranu na zagovor poklicale iranske veleposlanike; ubitih naj bi bilo že dva tisoč 500 protestnikov. - Na prošnjo Grenlandije in Danske vodji njunih diplomacij danes v Beli hiši o ameriških zahtevah po prevzemu največjega otoka na svetu. - Nekdanja ameriška astronavtka Sunita Williams ob vnovičnem obisku Slovenije predstavila svoje delo mladim v vesoljskem centru Noordung v Vitanju.
