Some dynasty teams are battling it out for their fantasy football championships over the next two weeks, but for everyone else, now is the time to look beyond the 2020 season. This week, we're discussing players that are likely on many of your dynasty waiver wires but have opportunity in the future. Make sure you follow us on Twitter @DeepDiveDynasty! The players we discuss throughout this episode are: Tyron Johnson, Joe Reed, Freddie Swain, Anthony McFarland, Richard Rodgers, Nick Boyle, Colby Parkinson, Hunter Bryant, Albert Wilson, Jacob Eason, Kahale Warring, Riley Ridley, KJ Osborn, Chad Hansen, and Donovan Peoples-Jones. Some of these we talked about much more in depth than others but if you're out of the playoffs, check your waiver wires for any of these players that might be available and could be an upgrade over your current depth in terms of future upside! Specifically with Joe Reed, given what we saw on Thursday Night Football this week, (with him being healthy scratched) I would prioritize both Guyton and KJ Hill over him if you're looking to pick up a Chargers' Wide Receiver.

RotoUnderworld Radio Fantasy Football Podcast - Mind of Mansion, Ep 484: The Podfather Matt Kelley (@Fantasy_Mansion) and Ryan McDowell (@RyanMc23) discuss Antonio Gibson's projected dynasty value and upside-fueled ADP. Jalen Hurts should not be ranked within the top-2 rookie quarterbacks. Lynn Bowden could be selected in the second round of the NFL Draft. J.K. Dobbins' cancelled pro day is a real shame. Clyde Edwards-Helaire does not belong among the Mt. Rushmore running backs. Denzel Mims is rightfully a high rising rookie. CeeDee Lamb is the best WR in this class by a wide margin. Jerry Jeudy should be locked in as the No. 2 wide receiver in this class. Why is Henry Ruggs so polarizing? Worrying about Tyler Johnson and Tee Higgins for different reasons. Why are dynasty leaguers coming to Jesus on Justin Jefferson but not Michael Pittman. Brandon Aiyuk is a legitimate high-end playmaker. Bryan Edwards is an incredible value in the second round of rookie drafts. Should Chase Claypool pursue a wide receiver career? Hunter Bryant deserves TE1 consideration in the NFL Draft. How will Antonio Gibson's career play out. Dynasty leaguers are generally asleep at the wheel on Joshua Kelley. How Eno Benjamin can have a productive NFL career. Darrynton Evans is rising fast up draft boards. Getting to know the name Jason Huntley. Christian Kirk was always a complementary receiver. Why DeAndre Hopkins has moved below Amari Cooper on the dynasty rankings. Kenyan Drake and Austin Ekeler are potential RB1s in dynasty. It is fair to be worried about Devin Singletary. Hayden Hurst is a big winner from the NFL Free Agency. Randall Cobb is only 29 years old! Where should Cam Newton land? How to hoard Miles Sanders. Kerryon Johnson should be on the block in dynasty. Damien Harris deserves Truther Status. How the NFL can start the season on-time in spite of the Covid-19 epidemic. Scott Barrett (@ScottBarrettDFB) came back once again to join Nate Liss (@AnOutragedJew) and Ryan Lopes (@StillRyanFive) in a 2020 NFL draft PACKED episode. [WHATS INSIDE?] PATRON Q From Ray Marzarella: I would personally like to hear Scott lay out the case on air for Zach Moss. Does he belong inside the “big 5 running back conversations?” What’s your “process” for mining for fantasy gold with these rookie picks? How do you land on gems at RB and WR, etc. What do you look for? Who are the personal favorites at RB, perhaps underrated? How about at WR? Favorites + underrated? Nobody talks about Van Jefferson. Why? Lynn Bowden, BREAKOUT FINDER poster child, what are your projections? Jalen Reagor streaking toward WR1 status (good BMI on Monday) I like KJ Hamler a lot and want to LOVE him, but his build leaves me very worried. Certainly a notable DYNAMIC athlete, however. Anticipating low 4.3’s - sell us on him, weight in mind PATRON Q From Joe Rankin: Dyno/Superflex, full PPR: GIVE > Smith-Schuster/Chubb GET > Mixon, Thielen, and 2020 1.08. Which side? Tee Higgins big, early “winner” at weigh-ins. Legit WR1 ceiling. You a fan? D’Andre Swift seems very hot/cold. Many haven’t shaken him yet, and the other half feels like they’re being contrarian just because. What do we do with him? Denzel Mims should put on a show and ride a strong SB into and thru the Combine. Does your model like Mims? Barrett/PFF model likes the top of this TE class a good bit. TE notoriously hard to project, what do you think about the top guys? Hunter Bryant the TE1 barring an unforeseen Combine collapse? Laviska Shenault — injury history + not participating in all the drills but he will run the 40 yard dash. Final Show question: Buy or Sell Leonard Fournette in 2020? Questions abounded, especially on message boards and talk radio, following Washington's frustrating 23-13 loss to Stanford on the road on Saturday and that's continued all week long, but fans and pundits aren't the only people looking for answers. The Husky offensive players and staff are also trying to figure out what went wrong and how they can fix it. Offensive coordinator Bush Hamdan said he expects more out of the offense and that starts with him. Why weren't they successful against Stanford? Hamdan eluded to missed opportunities by the Huskies and that the Cardinal made more plays than the boys in the purple and the gold. For his part, tailback Salvon Ahmed said he understands his role with the offense and that there are good backs on the roster besides him, so he knows he'll need to share carries and when he gets the opportunity to have the ball in his hands, he will do his best to make things happen, but he also said the game just came down to the fact that Washington didn't get it done when they had their chances and that's something they are working to fix this coming week. After a lot of frustration on Saturday night, quarterback Jacob Eason was ready to move on and look ahead. He knows that he and the offense need to be better and he feels like they are making strides in that direction and he talked about what he's seen so far from Arizona and he knows that the Huskies will have their hands full with their defense. Junior Adams continues to stress that the young receivers are making progress, but he also said he's not ready to throw them into the fire, at least full time, at this point although Terrell Bynum and Puka Nacua have seen their reps increase during practice and he's seen more improvement from Austin Osborne as well. Jordan Paopao likes to be multiple and he loves the versatility that Jack Westover gives him being able to play fullback, H-Back and tight end. He also talked about Hunter Bryant and what some of his struggles were last weekend and what he needs to focus on to be better this week. Learn more about your ad choices. The Huskies seem to be hitting their stride a little bit on the offensive side of the ball. They exploded for 52 points against Hawaii at home and then put up 45 points on the road against BYU before coming back home to score 28 against a tough USC team. The Huskies are getting a lot of productivity from their tailbacks including redshirt freshman Richard Newton and Salvon Ahmed has shown a lot of progress as well, as evidenced by his 89-yard touchdown run against the Trojans on Saturday, a play that featured his ability to make someone miss and then use his breakaway speed to run away from the secondary. By the way, that run was the longest for a Husky since Napoleon Kaufman broke off a 91-yard jaunt against San Jose State back in 1994. Offensive coordinator Bush Hamdan isn't ready to say the offense is where he wants it to be, but he is happy about the progress the team has made, especially quarterback Jacob Eason and tailback Salvon Ahmed and he hopes it continues.. Senior left tackle Trey Adams says he's feeling good about the way he's playing individually and how the offensive line has come together and what it was like doing 50 push-ups as his penance for getting a personal foul in the Trojan game. Fellow senior, center Nick Harris, talked about the transition from guard to center and helping out Matteo Mele when he came in for Harris against Eastern Washington. Tight end Hunter Bryant ranks second on the Huskies with 23 receptions, but he's leading the team with 334 yards through the air and he talked about his progress as an every-down tight end while Cade Otton talked about watching Will Dissly succeed with the Seattle Seahawks. Offensive line coach Scott Huff relayed his thoughts on the communication for the offensive line and where things can break down at times. Learn more about your ad choices. DawgmanRadio: USC presents a lot of unique challenges

With their game against USC this weekend, the Huskies have plenty of challenges to prepare for. First off, which quarterback will be at the helm of the Trojans' offensive attack? Kedon Slovis missed all but two plays of USC's big win over Utah last week and there is still some concern he might not be ready to go by the time they take the field against the Huskies on Saturday. Washington defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake isn't necessarily worried about who takes the snaps (Slovis or Matt Fink) since the concepts of the Trojan offense are the same no matter who winds up distributing the ball, but he is more concerned about his players staying focused on their technique, their rules and making plays when the opportunity presents itself. Ikaika Malloe's charges have their work cut out for them this weekend with USC's running game and trying to get some quick pressure on the young quarterback for the Trojans. He likes what he has seen from some of his younger players, especially now that they've gotten reps on the field, and he feels like the depth that USC has at every position has allowed them to absorb some of the injuries they've suffered and not missed a step. Jordan Paopao loves the progress that his players have made, especially Hunter Bryant and his efforts as far as blocking is concerned. The question also had to be asked, what was it like when they talked to Devin Culp about missing his block on the fake field goal attempt and how it was a great learning experience for the young player. There's been a bit of adversity for running backs coach Keith Bhonapha to deal with as Salvon Ahmed has been determined to be week-to-week due to an injury, but he had players like Sean McGrew and Richard Newton step in and handle things and handled it well. Lastly, Bush Hamdan said the offense is making progress, but he never wants to say they are where they want to be because the moment you do that, you can lay an egg and now you're right back where you started. The guys from Dawgman.com - Kim Grinolds, Chris Fetters, and Scott Eklund - go in-depth on what they expect to see Saturday in Provo, Utah, as the Washington Huskies play Road Dawgs for the first time this year, and they're doing it in the home of the BYU Cougars. UW beat BYU 35-7 last season, but this game hardly appears that lopsided. For starters, the Cougars have a whole new backfield with Zach Wilson and Ty'Son Williams, but they are also really banged up after starting their season against Utah, at Tennessee, and playing USC this past weekend. They appear bloodied, but unbowed. But what does that mean for Washington's offense? Does it mean they should be able to hold on to the ball longer, move the chains more effectively, stand a better chance of pushing passes downfield? And if BYU tries to take away some of UW's weapons, like Hunter Bryant, can the Huskies control the pace of the game and the field position with an efficient run game? On the other side of the ball, how will UW try and defend Zach Wilson? Will they try and spy him to limit his effectiveness running the ball? Will they try and apply constant pressure in the form of blitzes and using multiple players off the edges to shrink the pocket? Or will they sit back and force Wilson to navigate through the Huskies' secondary? And with the game being in Utah, will the Huskies start to unleash some of their Utah-based players like Sam Taimani, MJ Tafisi, and Puka Nacua? Learn more about your ad choices. Apparently for the Washington Huskies, it's how you start AND how you finish. Washington won the game 52-20, but if the third quarter hadn't been played, the game would have finished 52-7. But they play the full 60 minutes, and the UW coaches and players talked about the hot start, the inability to come out of halftime strong, and eventually picking it up in the fourth quarter and putting the Rainbow Warriors out of commission. The Huskies got back on the winning track on Saturday as they came out focused and ready to go in their 52-20 blowout win over Hawaii. The win gets Washington to 2-1 on the season, but more importantly, it seemed to be a gut-check for the team after their frustrating loss to Cal last weekend. On Saturday, Mother Nature sent wind but very little rain, at least during the game, and gave Husky fans the first taste of fall even though there are still seven days remaining before we official welcome in fall. The Husky offense put on a show early in the first half, jumping out to a 21-0 just under nine minutes into the game and Jacob Eason was a big reason why as he went 8 of 10 for 122 yards with two touchdowns -- one to tight end Hunter Bryant and one to freshman wideout Puka Nacua. He followed that up with his third and final touchdown of the day, a 37-yard strike to wideout Aaron Fuller who was well-covered, but still came up with the touchdown reception. On the defensive side of the ball, Myles Bryant was the star as he grabbed the first two interceptions of the season in the first half and he also contributed the only sack on the day as well as four tackles from his safety spot. The Husky coaches also got plenty of reps for some of the younger players including Richard Newton, a redshirt freshman tailback, who has seen his role grow the past couple of weeks. Newton had eight carries, three of which went for touchdowns, as the Huskies used his physicality inside the redzone to punch the ball across the line. The guys from Dawgman -- Kim Grinolds, Chris Fetters, Jack McCauley, and Scott Eklund -- all sat down after the game and talked about this big win, gave some of their thoughts on what they saw and looked forward to next week's game at BYU in the post-game podcast... On Wednesday, the media got the chance to talk with several of the Husky players and coaches, but the man on the spot was quarterback Jacob Eason who found himself surrounded by 15 people wanting to hear his thoughts on how he played against Eastern Washington as well as what it is that Cal's defense does so well. Eason gave his thoughts on getting the chance to play for the first time in nearly two years and what it was like to play in front of his friends and family for the first time in quite some time and he also looked back at some of the mistakes he made and knows he has a lot to work on as he continues to get better. We also got the chance to speak with tight end Cade Otton who has had a chance to play with Hunter Bryant now all the way through spring ball and fall camp and what that has been like as well as looking at the Cal film and what the Husky offense can do better. Tailback Salvon Ahmed discussed his music-making skills and what he talked about with Myles Gaskin shortly after finding out that his former teammate made the Miami Dolphins. Will Ahmed get a dinner from Gaskin now that he's making pro money? The junior tailback also said that starters playing on special teams, like he did on Saturday, is something that Chris Petersen expects from his best players and that he enjoyed it. He also talked about Cal and what the Husky offense is preparing for and he also reflected on Washington's first game of the season and what it was like to see Jacob Eason back there taking snaps and directing things. Senior wide receiver Aaron Fuller, who posted two impressive looking touchdown receptions during the game, talked about last year's game at Cal and how turnovers, penalties and mistakes by the offense impacted the game. He also looked back at his one-handed catch and how he and quarterback Jacob Eason had worked on getting that exact look and making that exact throw and catch in practice and it worked to perfection. Offensive coordinator Bush Hamden said he has watched the Cal game almost every day since the completion of that game, delving deep into what went wrong and how they can fix it and also what Cal linebacker Evan Weaver does so well and what they need to do to negate his impact. Offensive line coach Scott Huff said he was pleased with how Matteo Mele played in his first chance to see game action at a position he'd never played and how great it was to get so many reps for all of the young linemen.
