Alan Saunders is parked at Acrisure Stadium, but he and Derrick Bell took a Steelers Afternoon Drive just before the Pittsburgh Steelers took on the Cleveland Browns at Acrisure Stadium on Monday. Alan and Derrick broke down the flurry of pre-game news stories, with the Steelers placing Diontae Johnson and Anthony McFarland Jr. on the injured reserve list just before the game and calling running back Qadree Ollison up from the practice squad. Johnson and McFarland will each miss at least the next four weeks. How will the Steelers offense be able to adjust, while also trying to get right after a disastrous first game against the San Francisco 49ers. The visiting Browns have injury problems of their own. Star receiver Amari Cooper suffered a groin injury in practice on Saturday and is questionable to play. His absence could be the thing the Steelers need to keep Cleveland one-dimensional and hone in on stopping running back Nick Chubb. The stakes haven't been higher for a Week 2 game in some, as the Steelers have in their hands the chance to change from a disastrous 0-2 start to a 1-1 rebound game with a win over the Browns. Ahead of their Week 2 clash with Cleveland, the Pittsburgh Steelers have placed WR Diontae Johnson and RB Anthony McFarland on IR and elevated Qadree Ollison from the practice squad to the active roster. Atlanta Falcons Digital Reporter Scott Bair chats about the Falcons roster shuffling and how much more to expect before Week 1, some of the names who were placed on the IR, why Qadree Ollison just couldn't put things together enough to make the team, still expecting Drake London to be playing in the opener against the Saints, if expectations have changed for the Falcons based on training camp and the preseason, the battle for the Center position still not being decided, and Elijah Wilkinson probably not being a long-term solution at Left Guard.
Cowboys are signing RB Qadree Ollison to the practice squad, a person familiar with the move said. Between Ollison and LT Jason Peters' potential addition, the 17-man practice squad could soon be full. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/lawsnation/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/lawsnation/support
The Atlanta Braves lost to the Colorado Rockies last night at Truist Park. The reason the Braves lost to the Rockies was because they did not drive runners in when they had the opportunity. Jon Chuckery talked about how the Braves have the ability to not put themselves in those types of situations. Also, Chuckery talked about how the Braves will bounce back tonight because they are the better team. Secondly, Tori McElhaney of AtlantaFalcons.com joined Hittin' Hard with Jon Chuckery to talk about the Falcons trimming their roster down to 53. They talked about how Arthur Smith is trying to continue to change the culture in Flowery Branch. McElhaney also gave who was her surprise cut. They discussed the possibility of Qadree Ollison trying to catch on with another team. Lastly, the Atlanta Falcons have had to deal with the backlash when Calvin Ridley was caught gambling last year. With the news of Ridley being targeted in gang-related robberies, it speaks to Ridley's mental state in 2021. Jon Chuckery talked about how he understands what Ridley was going through, but there was still no reason to start gambling on your team. Learn more about your ad choices. The Falcons made moves with 27 players to cut down to the 53-man roster. There were a few surprises including defensive back Dee Alford, defensive tackle Timothy Horne and former lacrosse player Jared Bernhardt. Veteran running back Qadree Ollison and tight end Anthony Firkser were two of the surprise cuts. The roster will remain fluid. Should the Falcons look at running back Sony Michel, who has won Super Bowl rings with New England and the Rams.

RB Qadree Ollison may finally get his long-awaited chance in Atlanta now that the Falcons have a new coaching staff. Our late scouting guru Dave-Te' Thomas was a big fan of Ollison when he was drafted out of Pitt in 2019. Here are some of his comments from before the Falcons' 2019 training camp started, followed by one mid-season. Dave-Te' was saying "Free Qadree Ollison" two years ago.
Aaron breaks down the Atlanta Falcons' running back competitions entering training camp and if Mike Davis is poised to resurrect a struggling Falcons ground attack. He breaks down the fullback position and whether starter Keith Smith is on the roster bubble before taking a deeper look into Davis' past production to project expectations for his 2021 as the team's lead rusher. He then discusses the concerns surrounding the team's running back depth and whether pass protection skills will help elevate players like Qadree Ollison, Cordarrelle Patterson, or Javian Hawkins to be the team's top backup behind Davis. The guys hit the Falcons report. What is the Atlanta Falcons biggest hole? The guys on Dukes & Bell discussed and they both think it lies on the offensive side of the ball. Carl said that even with Gurley, running back might still be the Falcons biggest hole. “Is running back our biggest hole?” Dukes said “Is this our biggest hole, because when you look at the numbers behind Brian Hill and Qadree Ollison, I mean some people think even with the addition of Todd Gurley it's still not going to be enough.” Mike thinks the Falcons will be leaning on Gurley. “We still don’t know what we got with Ito Smith, we’ve seen some spurts of it.” Bell said “Brian Hill, he had some tough runs last year, this is a guy that was a taxi squad guy, he was claimed by another team and came back to us after initially being drafted, you’re really leaning on Gurley to be healthy.” It was time for the strong arm story of the day. GUY TALK.

Sure, Christian McCaffrey and Nick Chubb had big days, as expected, but a lot of backup running backs had memorable outings in Week 12. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon discuss the captivating performances from Rashaad Penny, Latavius Murray, Qadree Ollison, Benny Snell and more in the latest fantasy football podcast. (01:25)Liz and Matt hit mostly every game from Week 12’s Sunday slate, including fantasy owners finally getting a solid look at first round Patriots WR N’Keal Harry. Should fantasy owners invest in the rookie or are there better options in the depleted New England receiver corps? (13:25)Elsewhere in the NFL, we witnessed another disappointing outing by Carson Wentz. So, for the umpteenth time, what’s wrong with Wentz? (21:28)The Browns went off in the Week 12, as everybody with fantasy value — Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry, Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt — ate, while on the other side, DeVante Parker turned 11 targets into six catches for 91 yards (for what it’s worth). (31:45)Oakland got caught in a classic west-to-east trap game in East Rutherford. Matt & Liz take a look at Sam Darnold’s performance and the Jets’ light schedule to round out the season (36:30)Don’t get your ponytail in a bunch, but Derrick Henry had himself a day against the Jaguars and Leonard Fournette got into the end-zone twice as well. Could Ryan Tannehill be the answer in Tennessee and man, it definitely seems like Foles is not in Jacksonville. (41:58)John Brown is becoming (or rather, has become) one of the safest wide receivers to roster in fantasy (48:12), Mason Rudolph got benched one week after you-know-what, only to watch the Duck, Devlin Hodges, come in and help the Steelers get the W (51:30).Liz and Matt discuss all that and more fantasy tidbits from Week 12’s games. Please remember to rate, review and subscribe on your podcast provider of choice and send us your questions for future episodes on Twitter @YahooFantasy.Follow Liz @LizLoza_FFFollow Matt @MattHarmon_BYBCheck out the rest of the Yahoo Sports Podcast family at https://apple.co/2Abi8jk or at yahoosports.com/podcasts See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

SummaryOn this episode of The Most Accurate Podcast, Chris Allen joins Greg Smith to parse through the Week 4 Waiver Wire. They begin by discussing how to navigate bye weeks, as well as how to adjust your waiver approach after you've spent most of your FAAB. Then it's on to the various positions, beginning with running backs before moving on to wide receivers, tight ends, quarterbacks, and team defenses. How will James White's return impact Rex Burkhead's fantasy value? What percentage of your remaining FAAB is Wayne Gallman worth? Which handcuff-type running backs have the most value off waivers? Would Deon Cain or Parris Campbell be the primary beneficiary if T.Y. Hilton misses time? Why isn't Kenny Stills owned in more leagues? Does Auden Tate matter? How about Demetrius Harris and Dawson Knox? How are we applying the small amount on data we have on newly appointed starting quarterbacks to our Week 4 waiver decisions? After your hosts sort through all these topics and more, they wrap up the show with suggestions for players to drop and some position-agnostic waiver rankings of players with the most raw value in a vacuum. The show is brought to you by FantasyDraft. We're joined once more by Panther Lair's Jim Hammett (@JimHammett) to discuss a number of questions surrounding the reigning Coastal Division champion Pittsburgh Panthers entering the 2019 season. Was 2018 for real, or just a lucky fluke for Pat Narduzzi's program? Will Kenny Pickett take a major step forward with both Qadree Ollison and Darrin Hall gone? Is an experienced, talented secondary the key to a more consistent defensive output? And, ultimately...what are the chances that Pittsburgh makes a repeat appearance in Charlotte in 2019?
Aaron previews the training camp and roster battles involving the Atlanta Falcons special teams. He discusses whether Giorgio Tavecchio can fill Matt Bryant's shoes, whether Matt Bosher is on the decline, who will win the return specialist duties, the Falcons questionable roster management when it comes to returners, and what roles rookies like Qadree Ollison, John Cominsky and Kendall Sheffield might carve out on special teams.Part of the Locked On Podcast Network Learn more about your ad choices. Sonic Truth Dynasty Podcast, Ep 99: The Podfather Matt Kelley (@Fantasy_Mansion) and Nate Liss (@AnOutragedJew) examine the shallow fundamentals supporting James Conner's dynasty value. Pittsburgh wants to get Jaylen Samuels involved and that matters. Comparing Darwin Thompson to Tarik Cohen and Dion Lewis is ridiculous. Carlos Hyde is not a threat to Damien Williams. Julian Edelman is being selected way too late in dynasty start-ups. Josh Adams and Mike Davis were the biggest losers from the NFL Draft. How much will A.J. Brown presence throttle Corey Davis in fantasy football? Christian Kirk is a strong buy even after the Cardinals drafted three wide receivers. David Moore is waiting patiently to be appreciated. Taywan Taylor was buried by the Tennessee this offseason. T.Y. Hilton has a one-year grace period before Parris Campbell cannibalizes his role. Bryce Love is the quintessential stash running back. Ty Johnson is the most underrated rookie back. Travis Homer is a discount Justice Hill in many ways. Mike Weber is a top-flight handcuff back. Qadree Ollison should be outplayed by Brian Hill in training camp. Devine Ozibgo landing in New Orleans was best-case scenario. Darrin Hall deserved to land on a thinner RB depth chart than Cincinnati. Alex Barnes is an injury away from being suddenly relevant. Can fantasy owners expect a big bounce back season for a healthy Devonta Freeman, or should we all be targeting Ito Smith? Any love for Qadree Ollison out of Pitt? With the improved offensive line, we're somewhat bullish on the Falcons backfield in 2019.
Paul discusses some undervalued and sleeper dynasty rookies at the quarterback, running back, wide receiver and tight end positions. While some of the undervalued prospects are big name prospects he thinks are not getting the attention they deserve, he mostly focuses on sleeper rookies that were late round picks and a heavy emphasis on UDFA rookies that could make the team and possibly move up the depth chart and have a role during their rookie season or in the future. Some of the names discussed include Daniel Jones, Ryan Finley, Brett Rypien, Tyree Jackson, Justice Hill, Tony Pollard, Dexter Williams, Qadree Ollison, Myles Gaskin, James Williams, Devine Ozigbo, Bruce Anderson, Damarea Crockett, Karan Higdon, Elijah Holyfield, Alex Barnes, Foster Moreau, Tommy Sweeney, Dax Raymond, CJ Conrad, Diontae Johnson, Kelvin Harmon, Gary Jennings, Hunter Renfrow, Keesean Johnson, Preston Williams, Stanley Morgan Jr., Anthony Johnson, Emanuel Hall, Keelan Doss and others.
