Arbeit muss Sinn machen – und effizient sein Was junge Menschen von Arbeitgebern erwarten? Homeoffice, Tempo, Technologie. Und vor allem: ein Umgang mit KI, der ergänzt statt ersetzt. Die Berufswahl wird zunehmend von der Frage beeinflusst: Bin ich in 10 Jahren noch relevant? 4. Zurück ins Analoge, freiwillig und bewusst Trotz Digitalleben entstehen Rituale wie der „Handy-Stapel“ beim Abendessen. Und TikTok-Challenges, in denen Jugendliche eine Woche lang nur mit einem alten Nokia leben. Der Wunsch nach echtem Kontakt bleibt. 5. Social Media: Fluch und Verbindung Zwischen Freundschaft, Reels und ständiger Vergleichbarkeit. Lilibeth beschreibt Social Media als gleichzeitig spannend, toxisch, notwendig und zeitraubend. Und sie macht klar: „Unsere Eltern hängen genauso dran, nur anders.“ 6. Viele junge Männer fühlen sich abgehängt und kompensieren mit Selbstoptimierung Immer mehr Jungs ziehen sich zurück, sie gamen, vapen und kiffen, und sie meiden echte Kontakte. Sie trauen sich kaum, Mädchen anzusprechen, wirken schüchtern und isoliert. Scott Galloway nennt es eine „verlorene Generation junger Männer“, deren Mütter hoffen, dass Politiker wie Trump „ihre Jungs retten“. Als Reaktion entsteht ein neuer Druck zur Selbstoptimierung: Looksmaxxing, Kiefertraining, Hautpflege, Maskulinitäts-Content à la Andrew Tate. Eine gefährliche Mischung aus Orientierungslosigkeit und Kompensation. 7. Wertschätzung statt Vorurteil „Ihr wollt nur Urlaub und 3-Tage-Woche“: solche Sätze hört Lillibeth oft. Ihre Antwort ist etwas leiser, aber klar: „Vielleicht haben wir einfach ein gesünderes Verhältnis zur Arbeit.“ Und: „Vielleicht könnt ihr uns Ältere auch daran erinnern, wie schön das Leben ohne ständige Ablenkung war.“ Unser Fazit: Diese Folge hat uns bewegt. ALS, a nervous system disease, ruled the headlines in the summer of 2014 thanks to the viral Ice Bucket Challenge. How has our knowledge of the disorder evolved a decade later? Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as ‘Lou Gehrig's disease' (named after the iconic baseball player), is a progressive neurological disorder which breaks down a person's motor neurons. The main symptoms are muscle weakness and impaired physical function — mild, at first, but in the latter stages of the disease's progression, essential processes like breathing begin to fail. Most individuals face a life expectancy of two to five years. A small percentage live five to ten years. And an even tinier group survive beyond a decade. Most famously, renowned physicist Stephen Hawking survived more than 50 years past his diagnosis, in part due to the intensive care he was able to afford.
