If you know, you know: It's Poosh! If that's gibberish to you, pop in those earbuds and meet Micah Pueschel, frontman of reggae band Iration, published contributor in TGJ No. 29 and humble golf nerd well aware of the “insane” run he's on. Before helping to lead Iration from a college bar band to a world-touring festival headliner, Pueschel grew up at a now-defunct nine-hole muni near his home on the Big Island of Hawaii. As he tells host Tom Coyne from the Iration tour bus outside Columbus, golf took a back seat for many years, but safe to say that the bug is back in a big way. Pueschel expands on his abiding love for Soule Park and its unpretentious SoCal character, runs down his eye-popping list of courses played this year, and opens up about his experiences with “the most nerve-wracking thing in the world.” Hint: it's not playing shows. Hey, after some demure music on last week's podcast, Anthony has decreed that it's time to go a bit harder this week – and harder we shall go! Phenomenal hard-hitters from Giant Swan's Mun Sing, Cairo's Dijit, Congo's DJ Finale, YCO's Georg-i, and whatever the hell you'd describe Edi Pou as come at you hard and fast. But it's not all full-force music this week. The beautiful new solo record from Širom's Iztok Koren is a real highlight, and field recordings of the Le Mans 24 Race provides an alternative view on musical intensity. You can listen to the first six tracks for free. To listen to the full episode, get a huge back catalogue of music, and access to our live shows and Discord group, please join our Patreon: patreon.com/independentmusicpodcast. The podcast only survives with Patron support. Tracklisting Dijit – Saga (Youth, UK) Edi Pou – Lo + Nuevo (Gandula, Spain) Georg-i – Strobe Fodder (YCO, UK) Iztok Koren – .. This week's show is all about football. Joining TC & Randy are two familiar faces, Micah Pueschel (front-man for the band Iration) and Kevin Van Valkenburg (writer for ESPN). The show kicks off with a bit of college football discussion, notably Deion to Boulder, Hugh Freeze to Auburn, and Buck Tech to the playoff. Then they dive into a robust NFL discussion--who's winning the season-long NFL team draft, what's up with the Niners, Ravens, and Bengals; and of course so, so much more (including a really interesting conversation around Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow). Enjoy!
We had a great time hanging out with Micah Pueschel and Micah Brown of Iration on the Sugarshack Stage at Reggae Rise Up St Petersburg, FL. The guys open up about their early days of playing music, learning the ropes of touring with Pepper, dabbling in the NFT game, and what a typical day in the life of a rockstar looks like for them. Thanks for chattin' with us guys! Can't wait to have you at the Shack.
TC & Randy invite ESPN's Kevin Van Valkenburg and Iration's Micah Pueschel on to discuss a wide range of topics. The four cover important news of the day, give shoutouts to things they've read and/or watched recently, and settle get into a healthy off-season NFL QB discussion. And a lot of other random stuff along the way. Enjoy!
An explanation as to why the name Ras Iration II is being used.
This week's episode is a Perfect Club installment diving into the new Peter Jackson documentary, "The Beatles: Get Back," currently available on Disney +. DJ Pie hosts the discussion and is joined by ESPN's Kevin Van Valkenburg and Iration's Micah Pueschel (aka Poosh Daddy). The trio walk through the documentary, discussing their thoughts and feelings along the way--a perfect way to cap your viewing experience. Enjoy!
In this week's episode Tron & Randy bring on Iration front-man, Mr. Poosh, to discuss his golf vendetta against NLU (except Neil), how the boys got on in Santa Barbara last week, some very important current news, and finally, who everybody likes in the NFL as the playoffs begin this weekend. Enjoy!

Welcome back to Conversation on Tap! In this episode, Jose is joined by the funny and faith-filled Jeannie Gaffigan to discuss her life, her faith, her career, and more. But, first, Jose and his wife Christina talked about what they were drinking. Christina was drinking Sierra Nevada's Wanderland, a delicious nectarine ale, while Jose drank some Sierra Nevada Torpedo, which is very hoppy. For their FRED Talks, Jose talked about how readers of the Bible sometimes overlook Jesus' humor in his parables, while Christina talked about the history of roller derby. In the main segment, Jose and Jeannie Gaffigan talked about her life. This was a long discussion, so this will only be part one of two. We discuss her childhood in Milwaukee, how she came to enjoy working in the theater, teaching Shakespeare to teens, and her hilarious altercation with Jim Gaffigan that led to them eventually getting married and having five kids. We also talked about her book When Life Gives You Pears and their TV Land Show The Jim Gaffigan Show. This part of the interview ends with her taking her children to the doctor and learning that she herself needed immediate medical attention. Check out next week's episode for the rest of the story! In the final segment, Jose talked about the Amazon Prime movie titled Without Remorse, and Christina talked about the Iration's latest album Coastin. Be sure to come back next week for part two of Jose's interview with Jeannie Gaffigan! That's all for this week, but keep up with the Podcast by following us on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. Cheers!
