Hill spielte dabei besser als viele erwartet haben. Das gilt auch für Philipp Rivers und Derek Carr. Rivers konnte mit den Indianapolis Colts dank einer starken zweiten Hälfte gegen die Green Bay Packers noch aufholen und dann in der Verlängerung gewinnen. Für Carr und die Las Vegas Raiders hat es nicht zum erneuten Sieg gegen die Kansas City Chiefs gereicht, dennoch zeigten sie erneut, wie man sie schlagen kann.
