ETERNAL DESTINY OF EARTH AND MAN, Chapter 19 of Mysteries of Creation Episode 698 Pages 181 to 190 Click here to read this Chapter Parallels of Earth and Man: The earth, like man, was once in the presence of God, and is a living creation. Brigham Young said, “the earth is a living creature and breathes as much as you and I do.” (Tchgs. of B.Y. 3:241) Like man, the earth also had a spiritual creation or birth before it became temporal or physical. Then this sphere “fell” from the presence of God, and it, too, must follow the Gospel plan of redemption. Because of its “fallen” condition, an atonement was required to redeem the earth. According to Parley P. Pratt, this atonement for the earth was made by Jesus Christ: Christ offered himself a sacrifice for this earth, for men, for the animals, for fishes, and the creeping things. Christ died for the earth and for the elements; Christ died for all mankind upon its face. (JD 3:315-316) Prior to this atonement, however, the earth experienced a baptism by water (at the time of Noah), and it will receive another baptism, of fire, some time in the future. Brigham Young explained: This earth, in its present condition and situation, is not a fit habitation for the sanctified; but it abides the law of its creation, has been baptized with water, will be baptized by fire and the Holy Ghost, and by-and-by will be prepared for the faithful to dwell upon. I Corinthians 3:9 “For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building. 10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.”    Oh, the wisdom of God.  Only built upon Christ.  God's wisdom was to bring forth in the Lord Jesus Christ, and only in Him.  In the old covenant we see a picture of the wisdom of God.  God granting wisdom to the men who would construct his tabernacle and his temple.  In one place it is said there was no hewn stone in the building of the altar.  This is speaking that man will not add to it.  Nothing of man.  The wisdom and supply to build the altar and the house would come of God.    Let us here this.  Moses went up unto God and saw the pattern.  God showed him, revealed to him the house.  Only in the revelation shown by God, even in type and shadow, did the house come forth.  Christ the House we are made part of is not a type or shadow, but he is the divine wisdom of God that we build up the church in for the habitation of God by Spirt.  Glory to God!

This is a very important sharing of the Lord.  I recommend any listeners spend some time with this recording and listen intently.  I believe the Lord will speak clearly to the heart in regards to our union with Him, and all things of Christ which we have inherited.  In this study, we are looking at the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Church.  In 1 Corinthians 1, Paul says to the Corinthians that they are waiting for the Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, who will confirm you unto the end.  The coming here may not be simply some future day, but the unveiling of Christ in you, who confirms to God's end, His goal and purpose.  This is the end we must come to.  He confirms us to the purpose of God in Christ.  He, Christ, is our end, our purpose!   1Corinthians 1:4 “ I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; 5 That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; 6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: 7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: 8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”   Look at the above closely.  The grace of God give to you that in everything you are enriched by Him.  Wow.  In all utterance and knowledge.  This wasn't our beginning state of being, but it is our end state.   So Paul, is telling them to wait for the coming (revelation) of our Lord Jesus Christ, who establishes us in the goal, plan, will, end of God.  Our end is being enriched by Him in all things.  Now this end is what we come to know in the Revealing of the Person of Jesus Christ our Lord!  Glory to God!

Know HimBy Tammy Lacock “Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.” (Romans 16:25) Warren Litzman begins this week's podcast reminding us of the two pillars of the gospel of Jesus Christ: Christ's death on the cross and the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began. What's the mystery? "Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27). The mystery is Christ in us, Christ in all who believe in Him as their Savior. This is the birthing. The moment we believe, we are born again. Dead to this world with Christ at the cross and born again to a new life in Him. We are literally brand new creations with Christ as our new life. “And that day ye shall know that I am in the Father, and ye in me, and I in you.” (John 14:20) Christ, Himself, revealed the mystery to the Apostle Paul; and through Paul's epistles, He is revealing it to us. In fact, all of Paul epistles are directed to the born-again believer in hopes that the Holy Spirit will reveal Christ in us as well. He's speaking as a man who has Christ in him and wants all of us to know Christ lives in us, too. Paul wants us to truly know Christ, to begin a love affair with Him. This was God's plan since before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4), and He's completing His plan with the birthing of Christ in every believer. We are now His bona fide children, joint heirs to His kingdom with Christ. It's all ours. He gave us everything of His through His Son by His grace. Paul tells us the Holy Spirit has one great mission: To reveal Christ in the believer. The Holy Spirit's ministry is to dwell in our souls (minds) and teach us about Christ. Jesus said the Holy Spirit will never speak of Himself, only Christ. The revelation of the mystery of Christ in us is the very heart of our being. It's the very heart of God's plan. Our new birth was accomplished by God alone. It wasn't a church thing, a preacher thing, a Bible thing, or a human thing. When we were saved, we had nothing to do with it aside from the measure of faith which He gave to us by His Grace; and, likewise, it's by His Grace that we come to know Him. Paul was determined to share his revelation of Christ in us. In all the Bible, he's the only one to whom it was revealed, three years after his conversion on the way to Damascus. Later, it was revealed to Peter and John in their writings. Paul's epistles make up only one-fifth of the Bible, and yet he makes it very clear that all we need to know is Christ. His very life in us is our completion. We are now fully equipped to live who God created us to be. If we are to understand and know the gospel of Christ, we must dive into Paul's epistles and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal Him to us. In 1 Corinthians 2:2, Paul is adamant, “For I am determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” May we follow Paul as he follows Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1) and know Him, too, as our only life.

July 5, 2020 PM, Various.Everyone starts out stuck in sin. You can try hard to escape that sin with self effort but it never works. The Lord pulls every believer out of sin through Jesus Christ. God wants us to live in a way that pleases Him. What is one area in your life that God would have you to be more like Jesus Christ? Christ was the perfect example and every believer should strive to live just as Christ has commanded His people to live. He is the model, He is the standard, He is worthy of our obedience. Our Scripture reading was found in 2 Kings 8:1-29.

Pastor John Farley - Lighthouse Bible Church Podcast

John Farley Pastor Teacher Sunday, May 17, 2020 The Gospel 1Co 15:1-8 The resurrection of the body Chapter 15 reaches a climax with an incredible description of the Rapture. It begins with the resurrection of Christ. Rather, it is the problem of wrong thought and belief. 1Co 15:12 Some members of the assembly were saying that there was no bodily resurrection of the dead. Chapter 15 begins with the gospel of Jesus Christ : Christ died for our sins, was buried, and was raised from the dead on the third day. Paul presents overwhelming evidence that Christ was raised from the dead. 1Co 15:1-4 Receiving is not the same thing as believing. We stand on the fact that Christ died for our sins and was raised from the dead on the third day. Notice in verse 2 that holding... for full notes: http://www.lbible.org/index.php?proc=msg&sf=vw&tid=1330

In this episode, Hannah talks to us about mental illness. She has been living with bi-polar disorder for many years. She talks about the stigma behind bi-polar and other mental illnesses, as well as how to navigate life while also dealing with mental illness. Justin also talks about his struggle with depression and emphasizes how important it is to get professional help, as also strongly suggested by Jeffrey R. Holland who recently gave a talk on mental illness. Hannah's biggest piece of advice to those struggling with mental illness is to look for help. Don't give up on finding the right therapist and medication for you. It's going to be okay. ❤ Members of the Church of Jesus Christ Christ of Latter-day Saints (also called Mormons or LDS) believe in utilizing doctors and medication to help us navigate this life. We don't believe that scripture reading or church attendance is going to cure everyone from mental and emotional illnesses (just as it likely won't cure us of physical problems such as a broken arm). The 'cure' is found in research, testing, and consulting God. Have you ever struggled with mental illness? How did you get to a point of feeling more like yourself?   ETERNAL DESTINY OF EARTH AND MAN, Chapter 19 of Mysteries of Creation by Ogden Kraut    Parallels of Earth and Man The earth, like man, was once in the presence of God, and is a living creation. (JD 3:315-316) www.Youtube.com/user/godismycompass www.facebook.com/Lazurus197

Don't miss this: Jesus is alive, He is in control, and He is with us.When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. He laid His right hand on me and said, "Don't be afraid! I am the First and the Last, and the Living One. I was dead, but look – I am alive forever and ever, and I hold the keys to death and Hades." (Rev 1:17-18) Speaker: Matt Snyder
