The Indianapolis Colts need to do some soul searching after the loss to the New York Giants. Jim Irsay wants to continue to keep the team in the family. Chis Ballard probably will be fired, but will it change anything? Is Shane Steichen the right guy to be the head coach? Steichen's response to Pat McAfee's comments on the organization was a bad look. It takes a certain leadership to reign in players coming out of college today. Colts need a new culture, because money is more important than the team winning games. There is a difference between 'keeping it in house', and lying to media and fans. Why is Carlie Irsay on the sidelines, instead of in a box like other owners? What is Jim-Bob Cooter's job as an Offensive Coordinator in this regime?

Anthony Richardson may start Sunday, but Jim Bob Cooter was a little more vague about his prospects today than Steichen yesterday. Colts schedule gives reason for hope - and the schedule is the reason why I still believe the Bears are a 7-10 team. Myles Turner ranked 81st among NBA players which seems just about right. Jerry Jones is not the owner of Audacy Media despite trying to sound like he is earlier today when he came after the morning hosts on 105.3 the Fan in Dallas. https://mybookie.website/joinwithKENT Promocode: KENT Buying or selling a home in Indy - Call Sean Hartwick - (317) 373-3724 Here is the link for my book: https://www.amazon.com/Oops-Art-Learning-Mistakes-Adventures/dp/173420740X Learn more about your ad choices. Joe Flacco - uh, no! This is Anthony Richardson's offense, and he needs the reps, work, and improvement. Jim Bob Cooter gives an answer to the JT 4th quarter absence that makes a little sense. Bears cannot run the football, but does that mean the Colts will be able to stop them! David Mamet has provided a lot of answers, so we turn to him again to try to figure out how to fix the Colts. https://mybookie.website/joinwithKENT Promocode: KENT Buying or selling a home in Indy - Call Sean Hartwick - (317) 373-3724 Here is the link for my book: https://www.amazon.com/Oops-Art-Learning-Mistakes-Adventures/dp/173420740X Learn more about your ad choices. What and ending to an abysmal second half of the season. The Eagles go down in flames and lose to the Tampa Bay Bucs during Super Wildcard Weekend 32-9 (Scoring 9 points is just ridiculous)!!!!! There are so may questions but here is what we know now: -Sirianni is returning (set to address the media on 1/24 with Roseman) -Desai is OUT (fired by Sirianni) -Patricia is OUT (contract not renewed) -Brian Johnson won't be returning (I found this out after recording) -Riverboat Ron Rivera is interviewing for DC -possible links to Wink Martindale and Denard Wilson for the DC opening (reports) -Jim Bob Cooter could possibly become the OC (yuck) What bothers me is the lack of urgency about this entire situation. There is so much that needs to be done and it seems like the Eagles are taking their time. With Sirianni returning, I'm not sure how much faith I have in the organization to fix it!!! The Colts are already at the win total, many had them for the season. Losing Anthony Richardson for the season sucked. It makes the play calling more predictable. Is Shane Steichen using the tight ends most effectively? The Indianapolis Colts offense is top 10 in the NFL, and is respectable. Should Steichen hand off the play calling to Jim Bob Cooter? How big has injuries/suspensions impacted the team, compared to the rest of the NFL? Is coaching or the front office to blame for the lack of 'next man up'? The Colts worked out Sammy Watkins. Was Howard Mudd or Dante Scarnecchia the best offensive line coach? Goal is to win the Super Bowl. Expectation was an up and down season. Gus Bradley was not Shane Steichen's guy. The Defensive Coordinator might change after the season.

This year's draft is short on Wide Receivers which is unlike many of the previous years.   (1:14:00 - 1:26:31) - Gonzaga and UCLA previously had one of the greatest games in NCAA tournament history, they look to repeat that in their Sweet 16 match up tomorrow. Kevin spoke to an NFL Scout who seems to indicate that the Colts are leaning more towards Will Levis than Anthony Richardson in the 2023 NFL Draft. (1:26:32 - 1:31:50) - For 9 straight years a 5th or lower seed has made the final four of the NCAA Championship. Will either Creighton, Princeton, or Michigan State make that happen this year? (1:31:51 - 2:04:58) - Dane Fife, former IU player and assistant coach joins the program to talk some NCAA basketball. Fife saw Purdue lose live to the sixteenth seed Fairleigh Dickinson. He feels like coaches probably feel more excitement around the tournament than players. Fife saw the ball start rolling against Purdue, and no one had the ability to stop it. Query wants to know if there is a certain style of play a team can have to dominate across all leagues, and not just their respective conference. Fife doesn't know if there is any certain team make up that could guarantee a team success. The key is one player who can always buy you a bucket. What will Purdue vs. IU need in the transfer portal next season? (2:04:59 - 2:13:42) - Pop Quiz (2:13:43 - 2:17:40) - Who will be at Pro-day and who will the Colts be focusing on?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

(00:00 - 15:06) - Scott Agnes of the Fieldhouse Files calls in to the show to talk about the Pacers return to action tonight against the Boston Celtics. Agnes was in Salt Lake City to watch the All-Star game and enjoyed the experience and seeing both Haliburton and Hield in the three-point contest finals. What will the All-Star weekend look like with Indianapolis next year. Is there a chance that the All-Star game will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium. Ratings were low for this year's All-Star game. Agnes says that until elite stars take the game seriously the event will always be a casual watching experience. Should the All-Star game be about determining the home court advantage in the NBA Finals? Agnes thinks the Pacers are going to reset and try to get something out of each game for the rest of the season.    (15:07 - 33:47) - Zak Keefer of The Athletic and WISH TV calls the show to talk Colts and their current coaching conundrum. Keefer anticipates that Bubba Ventrone will be leaving for Cleveland and Gus Bradley will be the only coordinator to return on the 2023 season. What coaches are currently out there that the Colts can snatch up before the season starts. Bubba finds Cleveland appealing because it was a place where he excelled during his playing career. Ballard's challenge as GM is going to be on if they can take the right QB at the four spot or move up to the first pick and lose future picks. Will the Colts have to settle for signing a bridge quarterback with an offensive line that did not protect their quarterback well last season.    (33:48 - 49:38) - Mike DiRocco ESPN's Jacksonville Jaguars reporter closes out the show talking about Jim Bob Cooter, the Colts new offensive coordinator who is coming over from Jacksonville. DiRocco gives a brief summary of Cooter's gameplan as an offensive coordinator and what he will bring from the Jaguars that will be effective for the Colts. Cooter will have a lot to work with in Jonathan Taylor, a more skilled running back than he had to work with in Jacksonville. Trevor Lawrence establishing himself last season as well as Doug Peterson's coaching helped establish the Jaguars as the team to beat in the AFC South. The Colts are perceived in Jacksonville as a talented team that can't seem to get the quarterback situation down according to DiRocco. This offseason is their chance to really turn that situation around and change the perception. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

(00:00 - 22:01) - Jake and Marc get the show started with talk about the Pacers return to Gainbridge Fieldhouse tonight after the All-Star Break. Kevin is still down in Florida. Jake questions if hairsprays still are sold in aerosol cans. Alabama player Brandon Miller played last night, putting up 41 points, despite the story on how he delivered a weapon to a teammate used in a fatal shooting. Does Alabama ignoring the situation and continuing to play someone involved in legal issues put them on a slippery slope?   (22:02 - 27:23) - Morning Checkdown (27:24 - 46:10) - Jake talks how certain bands are able to sell out venues but are somehow still no one's favorite band. Talk then transitions to the NFL draft and how certain players have started to shake up the draft order. Now is the time for prospects to start separating themselves about the talking points surrounding them. Jake highlights Will Levis and Anthony Richardson as players who have started to move their numbers simply through chatter amongst the league. The Colts may still be trying to push up for the #1 overall pick. The show then lays out how long it can take a player to truly get acclimated to the level of play they are up against in the NFL. (46:11 - 1:14:19) - The second hour starts off with discussion over the Indianapolis Indians partnership with the Miami Nation of Indians of Indiana in order to establish relations between the team and the people their name represents.
