For instance!   When children are sexually abused there internal trust compass get's smashed.    - Religious upbringing   -  Poor family upbringing   - Poor father figure But if truth is to  be our foundation in life, it is so important than we must have some basis in which to  guide ourselves by!   God's word washes our mind. It transforms our mind, It sensitizes our heart and soul to what is false and what is true.    his word gives us a clear understanding of what truth is and is a guide to help us compare it to what others say!

Thinking is not praying… is it meditating.. yes, but not praying -    Speaking Gods word… SO THAT IT PERMEATES OUR MINDS AND HEARTS. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness”.    John 17:17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word (that means spoken word) is truth.    John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.    John 8:45-47 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? He who is of God hears God's words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God."    John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life.
