Totaal aantal meldingen 2023
Kieran talks with Hennie Verbeek-Kusters, head of the Netherlands financial intelligence unit, about her leadership over the FIU since its founding in 2008. During their discussion, Hennie details how the Dutch FIU has evolved to face the challenge of evermore sophisticated transnational criminal organizations and the professional money launderers they now utilize. The effort to track and seize drug money has, she says, taken on a new urgency with the unprecedented rise of violence by organized drug traffickers in the Netherlands in past few years.

"Klimaatangst is ordinaire doodsangst."
In this episode, we discuss the sad state of the agile industry with Michael Kusters and Brett Maytom. We talk about how the agile brand has been destroyed by con artists, life coaches and big management consulting firms. People who provide poor quality advice to clients because they've never been part of a good agile team. We talk about why clients and managers hire people who don't know what they're doing and the damage that two day certifications and the safe framework have done. We discuss the tremendous value that real agile brings and how few people are seeing these benefits today. And we discuss some solutions based on DOJO's and the craft guild system in Germany. And finally we put out a call for a new outcome focused approach that builds on the best parts of lean, agile XP and continuous delivery to help organisations develop high-value products and services. Join Murray Robinson and Shane Gibson for a debate with Michael Kusters about the pros and cons of SAFe. The Scaled “Agile” Framework for enterprises. SAFe is taking over because executives like its detailed 3-month program plans, detailed processes, hierarchical organization, and comprehensive rollout plans. SAFe has been great at sales and marketing, and it provides a great way for consultants to make money. But is it agile? If not, what are its benefits? Should we leave the field for unscrupulous consultants making money out of SAFe, or should we try and make it work? Should we use SAFe as the door to introduce real agile patterns that help, or is it a lost cause because executives who want SAFe aren't aligned with agile values? Hi Podcast Listeners! The Podcast now has its own Twitter account! Visit us @thebtbpodcast. This week, Ryan talks about a recent article by Greg Puciato of Dillinger Escape Plan. The article talks about the value in maintaining your independence as a musician. The content of the article is interesting, but what is more interesting is the fact that article came out on one of Spotify's blog pages. Is Spotify trying to send a message to artists? Are they trying to draw musicians away from labels? Big implications there. Ryan also sits down with industry executive and startup technologist Laurens Kusters (@BKLarrydotcom). He gives us some great tips on how to delegate tasks in your music career. He also talks about his new platform Indie Ninja (@indiedotninja), an online marketplace where artists can buy and sell services to run their music careers. This week for our eleventh episode we broadcast live from somewhere a little bit different, we were at Casa Del Scott but you would have seen the fresh decor on our Twitch stream of this episode. If you missed us live you catch the whole episode on http://www.twitch.tv/pixelsift any time you like! This week we spoke to Trent Kusters, he's one of the co-founders of League of Geeks and we learnt all about their game Armello. We had such a great chat with Trent we split the interview in two, with the first part focusing on the challenges and benefits of developing a completely digital board game. In the second half of the interview, we talked about managing the expectations of more than 6000 backers after their successful Kickstarter campaign, and what it took to get it to that point. We also looked at when games fail to meet fan expectations, or don't meet the hype. The fans of Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 have been calling out for updated rosters, with all the current trades and injury lists, but have been left wanting. Scott fills us in on the fan disappointment and how developers could address these issues. You can find us on all the social media sites, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Twitch and Steam. Just search for "pixelsift" and you'll find us!
