Success often boils down to one simple question: Are you willing to take the stairs while others look for the escalator? Building a thriving real estate career, growing your personal brand, and achieving true success demands effort most people aren't willing to put in. The average person chooses the easier path, hoping for shortcuts. But successful agents and investors understand that taking the stairs—doing the hard things others avoid—is what sets them apart. In today's crowded real estate market, being "just another agent" or investor won't cut it. Clients don't choose services; they choose you. A strong personal brand makes you their first choice, builds trust, and creates opportunities others never see. Without it, you're leaving deals, relationships, and income on the table. New York Times bestselling author of Take The Stairs, Hall of Fame speaker, and Co-Founder of Brand Builders Group, Rory Vaden joins me to talk about the importance of building a personal brand, why it's crucial to lock in on the one problem you can solve and the one audience you can speak to.  Successful people do things that most people aren't willing to do. -Rory Vaden   Things You'll Learn In This Episode  Stairs vs. escalators Success often requires taking the harder path, like choosing the stairs over the escalator, to build discipline and resilience. What “stairs” could lead to greater growth if you chose them over the easier route? Trust before transaction Building trust and serving your immediate clients is more valuable than chasing popularity. How can focusing on trust over followers improve success especially in real estate? The fastest path to warm leads Referrals and presentations are powerful tools for quickly building trust and generating leads in real estate. What strategies can maximize referrals and make presentations more impactful? I found a quote I really like and it's perfect for today's podcast. The quote goes like this, “Success is never owned; it is only rented – and the rent is due every day.” Rory Vaden, the author of “Take the Stairs: 7 steps for Achieving True Success, is the person who said that. Basically, what Mr. Vaden is saying is the effort you put in today – to whatever it is you're doing – determines your success tomorrow. The effort you put into developing your healthy lifestyle TODAY… will determine your long-term success. And isn't that what you're really interested in? Long-term weight maintenance? An overall healthy lifestyle? Then we need to get serious about this business of EFFORT… of ACTION… of DOING! We get results through action, NOT words. Again, the quote: “Success is never owned; it is only rented – and the rent is due every day.” Effort, action, doing… all are needed every day to get the results you say you want!Resources:Connie Stapleton PhD website: www.conniestapletonphd.comBariAftercare website: https://www.conniestapletonphd.com/bariaftercareBariAftercare Facebook page (for members only): https://www.facebook.com/groups/BariAftercareInstagram: @therealbaribossInstgram: @lauraleeprestonInstagram: @chefhealthyhenryInstagram: @myweightishistoryPlease subscribe to the show and rate it on Apple Podcasts, download free information at www.conniestapletonphd.com, and follow me on Twitter (@cstapletonphd), Instagram (@cstapletonphd), YouTube, LinkedIn, and on Facebook.

Hi friend, in this short episode, I am reading from the book by Yogananda, The Law of Success. Some of his quotes that inspire me: "Tune yourself with the creative power of Spirit. You will be in contact with Infinite Intelligence which is able to guide you and solve all problems. Power from the dynamic Source of your being will flow uninterruptedly so that you will be able to perform creatively in any sphere of activity." "Great teachers will never counsel you to be neglectful; they will teach you to be balanced. You have to work, no doubt, to feed and clothe the body. But if you allow one duty to contradict another, it is not a true duty. Thousands of businessmen are so busy gathering wealth, they forget that they are creating a lot of heart disease too! If the duty to prosperity makes you forget the duty to health, it is not duty. One should develop in a harmonious way. There is no use giving special attention to developing a wonderful body if it houses a peanut brain. The mind also must be developed. And if you have excellent health and prosperity and intellect, but you are not happy, then you have still not made a success in your life. When you can truthfully say, “I am happy, and no one can take my happiness away from me,” you are a king — you have found the image of God within you." "Those who seek prosperity for themselves alone are in the end bound to become poor, or to suffer from mental inharmony, but those who consider the whole world as their home, and who really care and work for a group or world prosperity…find the individual prosperity that is legitimately theirs. This is a sure and secret law." - https://yssofindia.org/spiritual/Achieving-True-Success-and-Prosperity With love and devotion, Katerina www.katerinasatori.com --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/katerina707/support

From overwhelm to scheduling success as a teacherpreneur Managing your time as a teacherpreneur is that golden egg that everyone seems to want…and yet if I teach you how to better manage your time, you may feel more overwhelmed than when you start this episode. I could say things like, “Color coordinate your Google Calendar as a teacher entrepreneur for best results,” and I could even show you exactly how I do it with my calendar, but again, that may not be what you need as an entrepreneur teacher. I could also say things like, “Go get the new Pioneer Woman's Planner and take everything from your Google Calendar and place it in there for a second check.” Yet, this, too – while helpful – may not give you the results you need to manage your teacher schedule. So how can you successfully schedule your time as a teacherpreneur? Your time-multiplier teacherpreneur roadmap So instead of telling you how to manage your time as you work on your teacher business, I want to share with you some unique ways to multiply your time and find gaps inside of your days to schedule your time – not manage it. This, in other words, is your teacherpreneur course to time scheduling. Ready to learn how and where teachers thrive with Kayse Morris teacherpreneur leader? Whatever your back to school plan, start by defining your success One glorious back to school season, someone once said to me, “Kayse, it seems like you are constantly having a new spiritual awakening.” Yes, friends…insert eye roll here. At least, insert the eye roll that I thought that someone was making because I could feel the judgment through their words. Eye roll or not, the truth of the matter is this: yes, yes, I did – and yes, I do – reinvent my idea of success every back to school season. Afterall, finding new awakenings throughout life is part of the excitement. So I'm curious: what does your back to school vision for success look like? A “Visionary” back to school success roadmap In today's podcast episode, I want to give you the tools to answer the question: “What does success look like this back to school season?” Plus, I want you to consider: what back to school activities and back to school resources do you need to make the most out of this back to school window of time? Back to school only comes once a year. So let's make the most of it. To answer, we're going to walk through a step by step method that I currently use. It starts with “Vision.” So if you're ready to redefine what success looks like, if you're ready to navigate your teacher business like never before, open your notebook and get your pencil ready. In this episode, our guest is Cortnie Draper. She is a licensed realtor dedicated to providing exceptional and personalized service for all of her clients. From a management background to communication accreditations, Cortnie has it all. Bachelor in Advertising, ABR (Accredited Buyers Agent), CHME (Certified Home Marketing Expert), and testimonials show what sets her apart. Today, she will share her journey in real estate and personal growth with us.No Room for Errors[01:01]Cortnie loves structure and getting into the groove of doing the same things every day. For her, it is just a habit. But during the beginning of her business, she didn't have the time to mess around with other stuff. She was trying to do all the tasks while trying to run a real estate business successfully. So there wasn't any room for errors at that point.Building Trust[4:04]Cortnie says it is about finding people you trust and who care about things as much as you do. It is important to have people around you who you trust. When you have good people and if you take care of them, they're going to take care of you in return. In real estate, relationships are all about trust, and you want to work with people who will advocate for you and people who are going to get you the best deal. You want to work with lenders who will do what they say and get your people there.Cortnie's Outlook on Life[06:31]When Cortnie started in real estate, she focused more on becoming successful. At that point, she was very stressed and focused on achieving her goal rather than taking care of herself.[09:03]Now, Cortnie says that it is important to have hardworking people who support and advocate for you. It is necessary for you to also prioritize your mental health, take time out, and not do anything. Make your Business Run for You[10:11]Cortnie cares for her clients, especially in helping their problems. She says that screaming or crying won't get you anywhere. So having a calming presence around your clients is very crucial. It's just very much leveraging stuff out, knowing that some things just aren't important. Some things in the day are going to get done.Being a Team Leader[12:45]Cortnie says that if someone could launch a successful business while raising five children, so can you. You don't have any excuses, and it's all about accountability in seeing that. If others can step up, so can you. In Cortnie's case, she doesn't only want to be successful. She also wants to thrive together with her clients and aims to run the journey.Achieving True Success[13:55]In the beginning, Cortnie spent a lot of time trying to be what she thought everyone else wanted her to be. She wanted to become somebody like an agent because they were successful, and Cortnie wanted to do things because it was good. But what brought her true success was being authentic, caring about people, and showing up for them.[15:00]The biggest thing for Cortnie is getting to the point of not doing something by someone else's role and figuring out what that looked like for her. She is setting an example not only to her daughters but also to others. Cortnie says that the world does not revolve around you, and if you want to be successful, be authentic, take care of people, and love them. Support the show

This week, Dan Neumann is joined by Justin Thatil and Mariano Oliveti, both AgileThought colleagues. They are addressing today a very important topic, which is how to successfully address individual behaviors that might threaten your team's performance.   In this episode, they dive deep into three efficiency killers: procrastination, avoidance, and delay, while providing strategies and ways to treat these individual behaviors to effectively achieve teams' goals and objectives.   Key Takeaways When individual behaviors impact team delivery You can't solve individual behaviors from a team's perspective. Disruptive individual behaviors can be procrastination, avoidance, and delay. Build to perfection can contribute to delays in delivery. How do you spot efficiency killers? A procrastinator might be someone who is very busy but not with meaningful tasks that will help to achieve the sprint goal. Does someone have difficulties sticking to a productivity system? The daily Scrum is a useful tool to spot disruptive behaviors. Make sure there is safety within the team to call on someone who is struggling. Which are the strategies to treat efficiency threateners? Identify the root cause. If your to-do list is too long, you can split it into the specific goals you want to accomplish in a day. Prioritization is key! Ask yourself: Is this something I need to do right away? Can it be automated? Do the hardest thing first. What happens when it is not clear what needs to be done or what the outcome is? Not starting to work until you have an exact idea of what needs to get done could be a trigger for procrastination. There are intermediate steps too; you do not have to look at the entire journey at once. How to seek continuous improvement? True conversations have to take place, especially when there is a failure in delivery. Inspect the process of the work on a continuous basis. Who can solve the problems that are being encountered? Assign responsibilities. Tackle the problems first. The whole team has to work together.   Mentioned in this Episode: Take the Stairs: 7 Steps to Achieving True Success, by Rory Vaden Learn more about Life Coaching vs Agile Coaching: “Coaching and Agile Coaching: Same Same or Different?” “Agile Coaching vs. Professional Coaching” “Are Agile Coaches Really Coaches?”   Want to Learn More or Get in Touch? Rory Vaden | Procrastinate on Purpose | Book review by Lisa Woodruff | Organize 365 On Mondays, I will be posting a podcast recording of previously recorded book reviews. These are books that have impacted me that I want to share with you. In August, in my book reviews, I focus on different books on habits. I share many of the habits I have built over years and the lessons I have learned as I have worked on this life skill. These are the books that have helped me develop better, more productive, more positive, more proactive habits. This week's book review is Procrastinate on Purpose: 5 Permissions to Multiply Your Time and Take the Stairs: 7 Steps to Achieving True Success by Rory Vaden. Rory is able to articulate the way I think and many of the ways I understand the world. Reading his books has helped my confidence in my understanding of how I see the world. Take the Stairs helped me to choose to do the hard things and to do them the right way, rather than taking shortcuts. Procrastinate on Purpose solidified and validated why the Sunday Basket® works. The book discusses the procrastination funnel that helps to reduce workload to narrow your focus to what is significant. Listen in to hear all of the steps! Bonus!!! You can hear my interview with Rory in Podcast 386. You can also watch this as a video review on YouTube.  Follow me on Goodreads!
