In this powerful and deeply honest conversation, Pastor Matt joins the show to unpack some of the most challenging topics facing believers today — navigating suffering, understanding the “why” behind pain, and fighting the growing epidemic of sexual sin in the church. He shares the story of losing his daughter Sarah, how he processed grief without losing his faith, and why choosing peace over understanding is essential for spiritual maturity. Pastor Matt also delivers a masterclass on the fear of the Lord, spiritual authority, purity, neural pathways, and the unseen spiritual dynamics behind sexual temptation. This episode is a rare blend of raw vulnerability, theological depth, and extremely practical wisdom for anyone seeking freedom and a deeper relationship with God. This is one of the most important and transformative conversations we've ever had on the podcast. In this episode, Steph explores the themes of struggle, challenge, and the common tendency to declare war on hardships in life. We have the war on drugs, the war on terror, the war on poverty, and the war on cancer. But what if there was a different approach? Drawing from personal experiences, she discusses the importance of embracing struggles rather than resisting them. The conversation emphasizes the power of language in shaping our experiences and the need for acceptance over resistance to achieve deeper peace and personal growth. Steph challenges listeners to reflect on their own approaches to hardship and consider alternative paths that promote healing and understanding.Chapters00:00 Embracing Struggle and Challenge03:03 Redefining the Concept of War06:57 Resistance vs. Acceptance10:26 Choosing a Different PathSign up for "The Impact Effect" newsletter at stephsaffer.com

Mike Wills speak to Stephen Grootes — Money Show host on CapeTalk and 702, seasoned journalist, and sharp political commentator — who’s raising the alarm on what he calls the “driver’s licence card tyranny.” Grootes argues that our current licensing system is outdated, unnecessarily punitive, and may even be designed to sustain corrupt practices rather than genuinely serve the public. Presenter John Maytham is an actor and author-turned-talk radio veteran and seasoned journalist. His show serves a round-up of local and international news coupled with the latest in business, sport, traffic and weather. In this episode of Doug Casey's Take, Doug and I discuss Trump's latest speech and the broader geopolitical shifts unfolding before our eyes. As always, Doug doesn't hold back. “Trump is mightily entertaining, but let's be honest—his rhetoric is often nonsense. That doesn't mean he's wrong about everything.” “The U.S. government is a dangerous predator sitting on top of America. People conflate the government with the people—they're not the same.” “If you want to solve the drug problem, legalize drugs. That's the only answer. Everything else is theater.” We cover Trump's plan to “unshackle” the economy, the deep state's resistance, the looming financial collapse, and why he believes America's overreach—from the Panama Canal to Greenland—is a mistake. Zomato planning to raise 8,500 crore rupees again. This comes just three years after its grand IPO where it had raised almost the same amount. The company's stock prices have doubled in the last ten months. Interestingly, this fundraise is going to be through a qualified investment placement or QIP when a listed company raises capital from domestic markets without the need to submit any pre-issue filings to market regulators. Only qualified institutional investors are allowed to participate in this kind of a fundraise. All this just as rival Swiggy is prepping for its IPO. And the quick-commerce trio—Blinkit, Instamart, and Zepto are gearing up to expand beyond the metros and into smaller cities. Plus new, deep-pocketed companies like Reliance Retail and Flipkart are also joining into the race. In a letter to shareholders, founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal wrote that the fundraise is intended to ensure a “level playing field with competitors who continue to raise additional capital” and to “strengthen its balance sheet”. There was no mention of how the funds would be used.At first, this seems like Zomato declaring war in the quick-commerce space. Some analysts believe it could be a move to show the market that it has a balance sheet that is the “strongest of all.But is that all there is to it?Daybreak is now on WhatsApp at +918971108379. Crazed MAGA cultists are declaring war on Taylor Swift because the loons are scared crapless that she will endorse Joe Biden and encourage young people to vote. Insane crook Donald Trump swears he was vindicated in the court cases he has already lost. Alina Habba, the inept lawyer for the orange FPOTUS, complained to the judge then immediately walked it back after she was threatened with sanctions. Some evil rich guy gave Trump a million dollars for his legal defense. John Bolton took a moment away from his Iraq war spank bank to tell us all how the insane former president only wanted to take out a terrorist leader to make himself look good. Tucker Carlson joined many other MAGA turds in predicting violence from their side if SCOTUS allows states to kick Trump off the ballot. Citizens in south Louisiana are suffering from lack of clean water while an indifferent company is pumping zillions of gallons for its purposes. The few decent Republicans left are angry at their Trump-humping colleagues who want to kill a bipartisan deal at the behest of their great leader.

Constitutional Chats hosted by Janine Turner and Cathy Gillespie
Think about the environment under which our Constitution was drafted. Our new nation had just waged and won a war for independence and was surrounded on all sides with hostility: the British in the north and their navy out to sea, the Spanish empire to the south, British and French ships patrolling the Caribbean and sometimes hostile Native American tribes to the west. Our Founders knew war was necessary but also had a healthy wariness about where the power to wage it should reside. The Founders questioned if war powers could lead to tyranny and questioned the effect of standing armies. Thus, Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11 gives this power to Congress and not the President. Joining our student panel to help us further understand why, we are pleased to welcome Reid Smith, vice president of foreign policy at Stand Together where he serves as an expert of constitutional war powers and foreign policy.
This week, we're bringing this episode back because it fits so perfectly in our current season! The "War on Christmas" isn't real. But you didn't need us to tell you that. This week, we're going in on our discussion of this Conservative talking point and getting the heart of why it keeps coming up in our culture. We talk the over 100 year history of the "War on Christmas," why Conservatives love to bring it up so much, and why Liberals need to stop trying to engage with it. We're not getting involved in the discourse over whether "Happy Holidays" is more inclusive than "Merry Christmas"...we're just making fun of everyone who does. If we don't declare war on our spiritual enemy, we'll get stuck in a losing mindset and conceal our light. We must put on the armor of God daily and go to war against the enemy.
Declaring War Against the spirit of Accusation “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me." -John 17:20-21 Let us be the recipients of Jesus' prayer, not the resistance. We have been entrusted with the Spirit of God to reveal the Glory of Jesus. The glory of Jesus is clearly seen among us when our first instinct is to love one another. Prayer; Lord, we as Your Body ask for wisdom and grace to change our instincts from looking to find fault in one another, to looking to find opportunity to show mercy. This week Pastor Jeremy Johnson gives us another great sermon on what we need to be fear's greatest nightmare. Through the sermon series we've been learning that though the war on fear can be a daunting task, it is one that is conquerable only with the help of God. When implementing the practices to conquer fear, we must put in the spiritual work to build our spirit man for the battle. We do this by strengthening ourselves with the Word of God and abiding in His presence. As we do this, we gain perseverance to keep going in our spiritual journey to freedom and learn that we can endure any battle with God on our side. May we stay disciplined in investing our time with God to become a warrior for His kingdom. In doing so, we gain direction and strategy from heaven to overcome fear. In this direction, our obedience breaks off the bondage of fear and leads us to new life in Christ that we can help others find too. Let us keep going strong in the faith knowing God is always faithful to help us in every battle we face.
This week, we are continuing to Declare War on Fear. In the Master's Piece, Pastor Jeremy Johnson jumps into a magnificent story of God's love. Going through testimonies from a lifetime of serving God, he expresses God's love through real-life experiences. God's love is infinite. It can be difficult to understand its depths. God wants us to see ourselves through His lens. We have to under His mind, heart, and thoughts to get into that place. Jump into the story of God's undying love for you. He wants you to be sure where you fit into His story today.
Tune in this week to receive an encouraging word from Pastor David Turner about the unexpected events that happen in life, which we call detours. These detours shake our plans and leave us feeling like we've hit a dead end. When our plans encounter a major redirection beyond our control, our initial reaction is to try and make sense of the situation. In the midst of the wondering, we must remember that it is not our job to understand everything in the moment. Instead, we must depend on God even in the unknown. Through this dependency, God transforms us. He also gives us perseverance and new perspective. It is the valleys in life that teach us what we can't learn on the mountaintops. And in that, we grow and gain deliverance from the Lord. Though deliverance may not come easy, we must wrestle through the detour to grow as God intended us to. We can trust that God will help us. He is faithful to bring his promises to fulfillment and provide us the faith we need to believe even when the route takes us through the great unknown.
