This week I get to sit back and chat with comic creator Lucy Sullivan Lucy's work i discovered during Hackney Zine fest and her book "Barking" and quickly fell for it. She has a powerful style and creates fantastic art work about subjects which really cut to the core of humanity. We caught up to talk not only her work in comic but animation and the challenges within creating something like a graphic novel. Whilst all touching on what she terms this idea of being "A difficult women". That brings its own challenges in an industry which has been dominated by men and is still struggling at times to find a balance of representation. We also get into the toxicity of online and the need to step back look at the world and think "Am I really having the argument I'd have in person?"She created amazing work so check her out below:https://lucysullivanuk.com/https://www.instagram.com/lucysullivanuk/https://twitter.com/lucysullivanukhttps://www.facebook.com/lucysullivanuk/Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcreteYou can support the show and Graham by visitingwww.instagram.com/yellingatconcretewww.yellingatconcrete.bigcartel.comwww.ko-fi.com/yellingatconcrete See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
