Can young adults find their place in a faith community after college? Young adults often face the loss of their college community and the challenge of building new connections. They tend to feel isolated and unsure of how to integrate into a parish. Overcoming this involves actively seeking out parish activities, being open to making friends across different age groups, and finding ways to serve. In this episode, we explore the unique struggles and opportunities for young adults striving to remain connected to their faith after graduation. Today's guest, Matt Keller, shares his inspiring journey of founding Arch O Young Adults, an apostolate dedicated to helping young adults navigate these transitions. Matt offers practical advice on creating meaningful relationships, staying rooted in prayer, and trusting in the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Whether you're a young adult or someone looking to support this age group, this conversation is full of insights and encouragement. Pope Francis is most known for telling us to love the poor and to share our faith. Many of you probably have a good handle on how to serve the poor, but what does sharing your faith look like? And can it feel natural to who each of us are as individuals? Today, I talk with Kelly Peklo and Matt Keller, participants in the Archdiocese Mentorship Program. They share their journey to understand God's call to evangelize and how they made that call fit into their lives. They talk about learning to pray and to hear the Lord's voice. And he wasn't asking them to share their faith like a famous tele-evangelist or door-to-door salesman. He was calling them to use their unique strengths, to share His love with others, by simply being themselves. A Production of the Archdiocese of Omaha Editor: Taylor Schroll (ForteCatholic.com)

It was Martin Luther who said, “If I profess with loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God except that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ.” The battle over truth often finds itself in the political realm. Hence, Christians must engage. I recently hosted Bob Burney Live on the Salem radio affiliate WRFD. My guest was Matt Keller, pastor of CrossPointe Church in Westerville, OH. The topic we discussed was whether churches need to be relevant to the culture. Some of the questions Christians often ask are: Shouldn't Christians just preach the gospel? Do pastors need to be applying Scripture to the times in which we live or just point people to Jesus? If you find this discussion valuable, please leave a review and share the podcast. Matt Keller is a senior vice president of innovation and intrepreneur at a rapidly growing company. He's also an entrepreneur, Inventor, urban homesteader, husband, and dad. Today, he chats with Anna & Katie about the way he uses his creativity to start and lead businesses and his family.   Learn Why Matt Believes:  -Entrepreneurs are borderline psychopaths  -We're all driven by different things on different days -There's different challenges to being both a full time and/or a part time entrepreneur  -Some people don't want to claim creativity because of fear -You shouldn't fight the momentum around you, even if it's not the way you originally thought things would work out -You should never short change your responsibilities because you're pursuing opportunities -Creativity works best within limits -Not everyone is your customer & that's okay -You should listen to all criticism -You should find mentors who have done what you're doing before & ask for help -You will probably fail the first time you try something   People/Resources Mentioned by Matt: 10% Entrepreneur by Patrick McGinnis Brett Trapp, Creator of Blue Babies Pink The Element by Ken Robinson AVYD   On today's episode, Matt discusses in great detail why he likes new ideas, solving problems, and creating things from nothing. He explains that his ideal outlet is creating solutions & value propositions.   He chats candidly about his previous “failed” project.   He chats about what it's like to have a different medium of creativity while being married to a multi-passionate artist & musician, Blaine Watson Keller.   He also shares how he and his wife have (re-)pioneered his dream living situation after initially giving up on that dream when he was 16 & explains a little about the responsibilities that have come with that.   Matt tells how he balances being an entrepreneur with being an employee at the same time & why the first makes him a better employee.   He tells us all about his fascinating new invention and start-up company AVYD.    If you've ever wondered if you have what it takes to juggle many plates, start and/or lead companies, or how to live in a creative way, we think you'll enjoy our convo with Matt Keller.   Connect with us online! www.doingscarythings.com Instagram: @doingscarythings @jasperandjade.music @thekatiesnyder @annaesthetic23  #doingscarythings #jasperandjademusic Stream our music here! Cherry on top: The 2016 Boston Celtics Off-Season is now likely over and the countdown to NBA Training Camp is officially on.  The Celtics had a very busy NBA Draft, made a major splash with Al Horford, almost lured Kevin Durant, and were quiet again on the trade front.  Unquestionably a better team for 2017, the Celts are rapidly rising in the NBA ranks. Austin Ainge, Boston Celtics Director of Player Personnel returns to CLNS Radio to recap the entire Off-Season with Larry H. Russell in this week's very special Summer in Review show.  Starting from the immediate fallout of the playoff defeat, Austin provides exclusive insight into how the team planned to approach the summer then; what the brass felt would be the best pathways to immediately improve the roster while maintaining long-term flexibility. LHR and Austin review the transpirings of the summer in chronological order: Did the NBA Draft go as well as the team planned? What did they get out of it? Why weren't the able to get any potential moves done? And of course, July 4th weekend: What went down: Al Horford.  And what didn't: Kevin Durant.  Austin also provides his thoughts on this year's team and caps it off by, yes, providing a letter grade for the Celtics summer. There's also immediate reaction.  The Lead Sports Matt Keller stops by following Austin's appearance to offer his analysis on Ainge's interview.  It's a jammed-packed edition of Celtics Beat.
