This week on Rope Droppin' we continue to make our way through Fantasyland. We hit the central hub and take a ride on Prince Charming's Regal Carousel before getting sprinkled with pixie dust to fly to Neverland on Peter Pan's Flight. We wrap up with a frantic Donald and classic Disney films in some 4D theater fun at Mickey's PhilharMagic.
In Magic Kingdom's iconic 4-D show, Donald steals Mickey's Sorcerer's hat and goes on an epic adventure through classic movies in an attempt to retrieve the mischievous hat. This week we'll discuss this attraction's history, development and surprising longevity! Music by Colin Paul

OH SNAP!Thanks for finding the Add More Mouse podcast, we really appreciate it!This week we're pausing our miniseries about sitcoms that visited Disney parks because, hoo boy, one of us got to go to the holy land. That's right: Dave just got back from an 8 night visit to Walt Disney Word and he's got firsthand experiences at Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, Toy Story Land, Tron Light Cycle construction updates, Dave's first experience with Pandora, as well as...the Enchanted Tiki Room? Yep, this episode has it all: Epcot construction updates and a rundown of the temporary Epcot Forever night time show; a heartwarming story involving Bo Peep, and Dave's failures as a father in forcing his children into Mickey's Philharmagic when they were way too young.Did Dave go on the Skyliner the week after it restarted following it's first week crash? Yes. Was he super excited to talk about it? Yes! Did he totally forget to mention it? Yep! Dave also lays out a pretty sweet strategy regarding how to manage young children at the theme parks. Also, Scarlet Johansen makes an appearance! Really! (kind of)The Add More Mouse podcast is a completely unsponsored show - we make it because we love it. http://www.attractionchecklist.com - Mickey's PhilharMagic has made its way into Disney California Adventure. Will it receive a standing ovation? Grant reviews it in this episode! Recorded on May 13, 2019. TRANSCRIPT: Welcome to Attraction Checklist. This episode we check out the latest show offering at Disney California Adventure, Mickey’s PhilharMagic! Located in Hollywood Land in Disney California Adventure Park, Mickey’s PhilharMagic is described on the Disneyland Resort website by saying: Immerse yourself in the wonder of Disney animation and music when you experience this 12-minute, 3D movie starring Donald Duck. There are no age or height requirements for this attraction. Before we don our opera glasses, here are five fast facts about Mickey’s PhilharMagic. 1. Mickey’s PhilharMagic opened at Disney California Adventure on April 26, 2019. 2. The first iteration of Mickey’s PhilharMagic opened at Walt Disney World in October of 2003 in a specially built theater. Because the former MuppetVision 3D theater in California Adventure is smaller, a smaller version of the film is used. This is similar to the version that opened in Disneyland Paris in 2018. 3. The attraction is the second collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney Animation Studios, the first being the nighttime spectacular Fantastic! 4. Most of Donald Duck’s dialogue used in the film is archival recordings of Donald’s original voice actor, Clarence Nash. 5. The Little Mermaid animator, Glen Keane returned to render Ariel in 3D for the attraction and Beauty and the Beast animator Nik Ranieri returned to animate Lumiere. Now let’s check out Mickey’s PhilharMagic! After the performance, I’ll share my thoughts with you on this attraction and this is recorded in binaural audio so you’ll want to put on your headphones! Here is Mickey’s PhilharMagic at Disney California Adventure! The attraction audio recorded for this episode is available exclusively to the Saturday Morning Media Patron Patron.

It’s another beautiful day, and my plans have already changed. I was thinking this would be a fun time to review my days at Disneyland, but that’s going to have to wait, at least for one more week. Instead I’m going to bring you another request. This one came from a pair people. Both Chris from Montreal, and Denise. And Denise was kind enough to share her memory of Mickey’s PhilharMagic with us: . --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Park Hopping Podcast - Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World, and beyond...
How magical is Mickey's PhilharMagic at The Magic Kingdom? And what does this have to do with the Wikipedia?
This week, I wrap up the Trapped on Vacation 3D Film Festival. I'm sad to see it go because that meant that I'll have to actually plan my shows again! The good news is that I'll probably be knocking more stuff off of "Earl's List." in the upcoming weeks/months. So pull out your 3D glasses one last time, sit back and relax and enjoy Mickey's Philharmagic (starring Donald Duck...?) After that we head out of the Disney Bubble and into the alternate universe known as Islands of Adventure to ride Dueling Dragons. Hold tight to all of your personal belongings, this here's the wildest ride in the medievalness! As always, have fun!
Fifty years ago on July 17th, 1955...history was made. Even if you're only a casual fan of theme parks, this is the week to pay tribute to a man who had enough imagination to turn a California Orange Grove into "The Happiest Place on Earth". This week, CoasterRadio.com celebrates Disneyland's 50th Anniversary and pays tribute to it's founder, Walt Disney. To help us celebrate, we'll be joined by Eric Jacobson, Senior Vice President of Creative Development for Walt Disney Imagineering. Eric is responsible for directing project teams developing ideas, design, content, art direction and area development for the Disneyland Resort in California, as well as the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney-MGM Studios, sports and recreation, and other entertainment venues at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Most recently, his teams have focused on many attractions opening as part of the "Happiest Celebration on Earth" for Disneyland's 50th anniversary. Eric's creative leadership has shaped numerous projects, including Stitch's Great Escape, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. In addition, he has equally influenced development of many additional projects for Walt Disney World Resort. Also on the show this week... our "Great Debate" segment will ask - what is the greatest Disney theme park attraction of all time? You can get into the debate by visiting our on-line forums. We'll also have another clue for the SOUNDWAVE contest and we'll play a special Disney-related version of Theme Park Trivia. It's all coming up on this week's special episode of CoasterRadio.com.
