January 2026 marks the first full moon of the year and aligns with the Hebrew month of Tevet (Tov – “Good”), a prophetic season of purification, consecration, and new beginnings. We are positioned in Hebrew year 5786 and the Gregorian year 2026, making this a powerful crossover moment to reset foundations and align with God's purposes.January functions as a first-fruits month, not as a feast day, but as a principle—a beginning month where we consecrate ourselves through prayer, fasting, and giving according to Matthew 6. This is a time to be cleansed, made holy, and properly positioned to step into everything God has prepared for this year.In this teaching, we explore the Torah portion Vayechi (Genesis 50) and the Haftarah reading from 1 Kings 2, comparing the lives of Joseph, Jacob, King David, and Solomon.
