Jeff kicks off the show with Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Sun as they discuss how Kelly McCrimmon was able to bring in Noah Hanifin. They get into the assets that the Golden Knights still have, how they have been able to add without notable subtractions, the team “definitely” not being done making moves, and if the team will have to give up a top prospect. Then, NHL Network's Mike Kelly shares how the rich got richer in Nevada with a focus on Vegas' defence and the current CBA loopholes (17:45). Later, Sabres reporter Mike Augello shares what Buffalo has up their sleeves after acquiring Bowen Byram, if Erik Johnson will be a member of the team on March 9th, and much more (51:50)! The views and opinions expressed in this podcast are those of the hosts and guests and do not necessarily reflect the position of Rogers Sports & Media or any affiliates.
Scott Mitchell-Malm joins Edd Straw to round up the latest news and look back at the latest pair of F1 launch events. First, Edd reports back from the Sauber/Stake F1 Team launch event in London, where the team took the covers off the striking black and fluro green C44. We hear from technical director James Key, drivers Zhou Guanyu and Valtteri Bottas, and team representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi, while former F1 technical director Gary Anderson provides a technical assessment of the new car. After that, Scott and Edd turn their attention to Williams - and drivers Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant - after the team revealed a brand-new livery (if not a new car) at a season launch event in New York. And before we cover both launches, there's also a news update about Christian Horner being placed under investigation by Red Bull. Its episode 10, and to celebrate reaching double figures we have a brilliant guest....the one and only Lindy Smith! Lindy is one of Erica and Sam's long time cake heroes, so to have her on the podcast was a real honour and dead exciting. Prepare to be inspired. We recorded this episode remotely, and are relieved to say we have now found a great platform, so our sound quality is a million times better than during the first UK lockdown. What we're up toSam's Halloween photoshoot https://www.instagram.com/p/CG641ZVF1t5/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkBSG Region 8 online day of demonstrations https://www.bsgregion8se.org/Astronomy photographer of the year 2020 exhibition https://www.rmg.co.uk/whats-on/astronomy-photographer-year/galleries/2020Erica's dinosaur cake https://www.instagram.com/p/CHVTrA_glLu/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkNew thingsDinkydoodle pine cone mould https://www.dinkydoodle.co.uk/product-page/silicone-pinecone-mouldEvil Cake Genius peacock feather mould by Cake Haillday https://evilcakegenius.com/catalog/product/view/id/3645/s/peacock%20feather%20stencil%20set%20by%20cake%20halliday/category/244/House of Cake chocolate drip https://www.culpitt.com/product/sundries-essentials/chocolate/hoc-white-cake-drip-icing-180g/New colour mill shades https://www.cake-stuff.com/item/16339/ColourMill/5-NEW-COLOURS-oil-based-concentrated-icing-colouring-20ml-BUNDLE.htmlSurprise Cake, popping cake stand https://www.thecakedecoratingcompany.co.uk/presentation-storage-c36/cake-stands-c61/surprise-cake-popping-cake-stand-p11583Main FeatureLindy Smith https://lindyscakes.co.uk/about-lindy/ https://www.instagram.com/lindyscakes/Grammarly https://www.grammarly.com/Lindy's new book.
