Jarrad Goulding is the CEO & Founder of The Local Guys group. Previously he had been a franchisee in Boost Juice and a restaurant franchise. Jarrad and his partner Stacey were lucky enough to be part of a great franchise network in Boost Juice & a not-so-great franchise in their restaurant franchise. With these experiences, they saw the best and worst of franchising, which gave them the knowledge to mould a successful franchise model with The Lucky Guys. They used provisions such as flat fees and easy-to-exit agreements all in non-corporate culture. They have grown to 78 franchise partners in a little over five years including Covid in the first year. Jarrad's passion is assisting new franchise partners to take the leap of business ownership (maybe for the first time) and help nurture their growth to have happy successful businesses. The Local Guys have expanded from Electrical Test and Tagging to three, soon to be four divisions and have franchise partners in every state & territory in Australia as well as franchise partners on both the North & South island of New Zealand.

Have you ever considered that moms need an "elevator pitch"? This is an intentional way of introducing ourselves to others. The purpose is not to impress, but to share and connect with someone. As licensed health educator Stacy Goulding points out, at times it's easy for us to say “nothing” when someone asks “What's new?”. But we need to be confident in sharing what we are doing right now, whether it's potty-training our toddler, reading a good book, or navigating baseball season. As we use our elevator pitch to connect with other moms we learn to appreciate others. We begin to recognize that although we may do motherhood differently, we have so much to gain as we collaborate and learn from one another.

//The Wire//1700Z April 4, 2024////ROUTINE////BLUF: GAS PRICES RISE IN RESPONSE TO U.S. CANCELING SPR ORDER.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE------International Events-Germany: Yesterday afternoon a Syrian migrant (of newly-granted Dutch citizenship) stabbed a 4-year-old girl in a supermarket in Wangen.Middle East: Rumors circulate that the United States may remove the Specially Designated Terror Group (SDTG) label applied to the Houthi-controlled Yemeni government in exchange for a cessation of attacks in the Red Sea. AC: Even though these claims are still rumor at this point, this is yet another confirmation that the US-led Operation PROSPERITY GUARDIAN is a complete failure, and has been so since it's very inception. Consequently, now that Houthi forces know they have bargaining power, attacks will likely increase to force a better diplomatic position. Over the past few weeks, Houthi attacks have waned, largely due to the complete lack of western-based traffic through the region.-HomeFront-USA: Gas prices increased immediately following the revelation that the Biden regime has cancelled two planned purchase orders of around 3 million barrels of oil to replenish the dangerously low Strategic Petroleum Reserve.Oklahoma: Yesterday an 82-year-old man self-immolated while being served an eviction notice in Oklahoma City. Anthony Goulding and his wife were being served with an eviction notice when Goulding set himself and his residence on fire. He died at the scene, and his wife (who suffers from Parkinson's Disease) has been removed to another location.Texas: Cal-Maine Foods, the largest producer of eggs in the United States announced the culling of 1.6 million hens following an avian flu outbreak at a facility in Parmer County.Texas: A Texas National Guard soldier was arrested for smuggling after being discovered trafficking an illegal for profit while using a government vehicle. Local media states that the soldier was offered around $5000 to smuggle one person into the United States.-----END TEARLINE-----Analyst Comments: The use of SPR resources was largely a crutch used by the federal government to keep gas prices down for consumers. However, this is not an infinite resource, and after depleting American wartime POL reserves to their lowest levels in history over the past few years, at some point the United States is going to have to adapt to the tightening international oil market instead of manipulating fuel prices here at home.Analyst: S2A1//END REPORT//

About Stacy Goulding: Stacy is a licensed health educator that has spent the last decade teaching at-risk youth aboutreproductive health. Thus her true intimacy class was created. She'scurrently developing a class for parents to teach kids of all ages about healthy sexuality. She also was a wellness coach specializing in women and postpartum wellness. In addition to teaching Stacy loves cycling, dancing, kayaking, pickleball and classic rock. She resides in Utah with her husband and two sons. Insights: “And it's really simple. And you can also approach it from, ‘where do babies come from,’ andyou start small and grow with your kids' development.” -Stacy Goulding “I think overall being authentic is really important. It's okay to tell your kid I've never given a sex talk before where I wasn't given the sex talk before or I'm feeling nervous, because this is my first time or I don't want to say it wrong. But you can say those things. And just say, but this is so important, I think it is worth going through the awkward or the uncomfortable to discuss this.” -Stacy Goulding "It's not like "Don't do it, it's bad!". It's like "No, sex is amazing when there are proper boundaries and values in place." Especially with teens right now, they want to know "why?". Jamie was about to risk everything to create a travel towel company in Bali during covid. Maybe not the most opportune time but Jamie takes risks. From Ebay side hustles in his teens to transcontinental moves for new job opportunities, Jamie has learned that taking risks can forge new connections with people who were once strangers. Jamie's learned that these new relationships have vastly changed the trajectory of his life and now he's trying to give others that opportunity. Jamie's company “Been There” works to connect aspiring entrepreneurs, thinkers, and leaders with advisors that have been there before.
