After a brief hiatus we are back with a new episode and it's a doozy! Adam Gorham has made a real splash across almost every company creating mainstream comics today! Working and residing in Mississauga, Ontario, his career in comics began in 2008 with work on various indie efforts. In recent years he's worked for publishers like Valiant Entertainment, IDW Publishing, Archie Comics, and Marvel Comics (Rocket, New Mutants: Dead Souls). André and Adam discuss the proper Lex Luthor, overcoming laziness to achieve a successful career in comics, which companies provided the nicest rejection letters and connecting with his daughters through Godzilla research!

Adam Gorham is a comic book artist on such titles as TMNT Universe, Jughead: The Hunger, James Bond 007, Power Rangers, Marvel's Contagion and Rocket (starring Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy). He is currently drawing Punk Mambo for Valiant. Adam was born in Perth, Ontario but was raised in Mississauga, Ontario and still makes his home there now with his family. On the podcast, Adam goes through his long, strange trip from art school drop-out and disgruntled grocery store warehouse employee to working for major comic companies like Marvel, Image and Valiant. This includes finding his first gig as a comic artist on Craigslist, working with Toronto radio personality “Fearless” Fred Kennedy on Fred's self-published, three volume indie book Teuton, and eventually breaking out as the artist on The Violent, a creator-owned gritty crime book published by Image and written by Ghost Rider and Old Man Logan scribe Ed Brisson.Aaron also gets Adam's take on the New Mutants trailer since he worked on New Mutants: Dead Souls with writer Matthew Rosenberg (4 Kids Walk Into a Bank) which was the book that was likely going to launch as the movie came out before the film got delayed. Adam also tells a wild story about randomly discovering his letter envelope art in a Wizard Magazine years after the fact. This episode is sponsored by Hairy Tarantula and Bam Coffee Co. On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!, soon to be known as Cullen, Jerry, and John are Getting Old, we have for you: Cullen's interview with writer Christopher Sebela. Chris announced a few new projects at the Image Expo last month, so Cullen sat down with the Portland writer for a quick one-on-one. Be on the lookout this June for Shanghai Red, telling the brutal trip of a woman from Shanghai to Portland in the nineteenth century, and the revenge she dishes out along the way. Jerry and John give their take on The Terrifics #1 from DC Comics. Now don't go confusing this title with the Fantastic Four or even The Incredibles. This is a great debut issue, and we are excited to see where this title heads in the issues ahead. John had a chance to read The New Mutants: Dead Souls #1 from Marvel Comics. With the upcoming New Mutants movie hitting theaters later this year, it's only natural for Marvel to get some new product on the shelves ahead of time. John gives us his take on this new line-up of some familiar characters. We give you our Three Picks for next week - Marvel has a hulking new Weapon, Batman has a bad case of Poison Ivy, and we say goodbye to the Goddess of Thunder. We would love to hear your comments on the show. Let us know what you've been reading or watching this week. Contact us on our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or by email.
