Over his career, Benoy has developed over 100 MWs of solar projects across the U.S., helped launch the first residential solar tax equity funds at Tesla, and brokered $50 million in Renewable Energy Credits (“REC”) transactions. Prior to founding Reneu Energy, Benoy was the Environmental Commodities Trader in Tesla's Project Finance Group, where he managed one of the largest environmental commodities portfolios. He originated REC trades and co-developed a monetization and hedging strategy with senior leadership to enter the East Coast market.   As Vice President at Vanguard Energy Partners, Benoy crafted project finance solutions for commercial-scale solar portfolios. His role at Ridgewood Renewable Power, a private equity fund with 125 MWs of U.S. renewable assets, involved evaluating investment opportunities and maximizing returns. He also played a key role in the sale of the firm's renewable portfolio. Earlier in his career, Benoy worked in Energy Structured Finance at Deloitte & Touche and Financial Advisory Services at Ernst & Young, following an internship on the trading floor at D.E. Shaw & Co., a multi billion dollar hedge fund. Benoy holds an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University and a BS in Finance and Economics from NYU Stern, where he was an Alumni Scholar.   Guest Information Iñigo Rengifo Melia Iñigo Rengifo Melia is the co-founder and CEO of Concentro and Folio, two companies transforming how clean energy projects are financed and managed.  An electromechanical engineer by training with a strong background in energy, Inigo began his career as the first employee at a startup studio, where he was part of the founding team of two early-stage companies. It's 1940 and Gaby's parents and sister succumb to Typhus after staying in France to care for Gaby and Sabine's dying grandmother. The war is in full swing and Gaby can't get home to Poughkeepsie, NY. Her aunt lives in Ireland, which stayed neutral during WWII, so she heads there. But the aunt has just died, and 18-year-old Gaby makes her way to the remote manor of her aunt's husband's relatives, where she's hired as a servant. In a different reality, 17-year-old Sabine is the sister who survived. She also finds her way to Ireland, but Germany has invaded, so she's in hiding. Then Sabine gets to the same remote manor where for one hour at dusk, a mystical time according to Irish legend, she and Gaby meet and talk. We Meet Apart (Regal House Publishing, 2026) is about family, resilience, and survival in the face of war, death, and the world of ghosts. Martha Conway grew up in northern Ohio and earned her B.A. in English and History from Vassar College. She received a master's in English: Creative Writing, from San Francisco State University. Her previous novels include The Underground River, which was a New York Times Book Editor's Choice, and Thieving Forest, which won the North American Book Award for Historical Fiction. Her short fiction has been published in The Iowa Review, Carolina Quarterly, Missouri Review, Folio, and other journals. She is a recipient of a California Arts Council fellowship, and she teaches creative writing for Stanford University's Writing Certificate program. On the sixtieth episode of All the Film Things, I had the pleasure of interviewing festival organizer Monique Madrid! Monique Madrid, who some of us regard as “the queen of Jacksonville”, is an integral figure in the city as the visionary behind the LOL Jax Film Festival. Her involvement in film began with working behind and in front of the screen on films made by the Jacksonville- based production company Argylle Forest Films. She has been an editor and producer for their previously released shorts such as “The Real Housemonsters of Florida”, their upcoming debut feature Let Me Be Corey as well as worked on other films made by Jax filmmakers such as “Extreme” and “Mandy's Voice”. Alongside her husband and previous ATFT guest Adam Madrid, she is the co- city producer for the 48 hour film project in Jacksonville and co- founder of the LOL JAX Film Festival, which has been named the “Best Film Festival” in Folio Weekly's Folio 500 for eight years in a row. In 2021, Monique was included in Jacksonville Business Journal's 40 under 40 and, two years later, the journal named Monique as one of the “Women of Influence” in the city. Aside from her work in film, she works with local organizations and schools including Don't Miss a Beat, Inc. and Jacksonville Arts and Music School, or JAMS for short. Next month, Monique will be awarded the Small Business of the Year Art Award from the Cultural Council of the Greater Jacksonville in recognition of LOL Jax. The 10th annual LOL JAX Film Festival will be held on August 1 and 2 in downtown Jacksonville and film submissions are officially now being accepted until June 30. LOL stands which stands for both laughing out loud and loving our locals, is a celebration of artists and small local businesses. I have always admired her, not only because of her incredible accomplishments, but to see what she has done for the city of Jacksonville is deeply admirable and inspiring. This interview was the first time she and I really conversed and my already high expectations of her were somehow exceeded. I am blown away by Monique and this interview is undoubtedly one of the very best interviews on ATFT yet. This episode was recorded on April 2, 2026. In this episode, Monique shares her road to discovering which role she wanted to pursue in film, remaining connected to loved ones who have passed on through cinema, and why this year's LOL Jax Film Festival was almost the last. She also reveals which 2025 film she has already seen about 15 times, one of her favorite travel activities, and shares high remarks about three previous ATFT guests. By day, Damien works on AI products at Clio and Mike is CEO of 273 Ventures, a company that provides AI strategy and services for law firms and legal professionals. But outside their day jobs, they are also founders of the ALEA Institute, the Institute for the Advancement of Legal and Ethical AI, where a central focus of theirs is the FOLIO Project, which is seeking to develop and maintain open legal standards and a comprehensive ontology to enable different legal systems to communicate with each other. FOLIO is an outgrowth of the SALI Alliance, whose ontology was largely developed by Damien. So what does any of this have to do with vibe coding? Well, in connection with their FOLIO project, Damien and Mike have been building an array of tools for tagging and enriching legal documents (FOLIO Enrich), for mapping law firm taxonomies (FOLIO Mapper), for browsing and editing legal ontologies (FOLIO Ontology Explorer), and much more. Not over months, not with a team of developers, but on their own, often in a single weekend day, using AI coding tools.
