Tonight's guest, Bill Rigby, used to want to have a Sasquatch sighting of his own more than just about anything. As he found out, however, there's a difference between hoping to see a Sasquatch and being ready to see one. That's a lesson he learned the hard way, in Salt Fork State Park, in Ohio. You see, Bill had a sighting there one evening where he found himself just 15 feet from a 7-foot-tall Sasquatch. After having that sighting, he lost all interest in heading back into the woods. If not for a phone conversation with Tim, “Coonbo” Baker, Bill probably would have sworn off going back into the woods for good. That conversation helped him regain his confidence, however, and head back in. Now, he's back out there, doing field investigations. In this installment of Sasquatch Tracks, the after opening news that focuses on tales of "swamp beasts" in rural America and also massive reptiles invading the Florida Everglades, the team is joined by John Hickenbottom, the naturalist at Ohio's Salt Fork State Park.  A longtime outdoorsman whose interest in wildlife includes snakes and reptiles indigenous to his home state, as well as Ohio's archaeology and much more, Hickenbottom has worked professionally as a park naturalist for many years. Hello and Welcome to the Two Scaredy Cats Podcast,On this weeks episode we are discussing our trip to Pittsburg and a visit to the West Virginia State Penitentiary in Moundsville, West Virginia.We were able to stop at Salt Fork State Park in Ohio.  This park is said to be home to the Ohio Grassman and Big Foot.  We hiked a trail where  Big Foot has been spotted numerous times. Later on we went to visit the West Virginia State Penitentiary.   This prison has been around for over a 100 years and was built in  a gothic style and had the look of a fortress.   Over 998 men have died inside the walls of this prison with 94 of them being executed.  The land the prison sits on is said to be cursed because it is an ancient Indian burial ground.  All kinds of paranormal activity have been seen in the prison.We will be posting photos of our adventure and some of the stuff we saw on our tour on our Instagram account. Make sure to like and follow us @twoscaredycatspodcastRemember curiosity didn't kill these Two Scaredy Cats!Support the show

In August of 2020, tonight's guest, Randy, had a Sasquatch sighting in Salt Fork State Park. For the past 4 or 5 years, Randy had gone to Salt Fork State Park and rented a cabin that he, his sons, his brother, and father in-law, would stay in, so they could stay for the weekend and attend the annual Bigfoot Conference there. The 1st year or 2 that they made the trip there, they experienced some strange happenings, like hearing wood knocks and finding Sasquatch prints, off-trail. In 2020, though, the conference had been postponed, due to COVID. Due to the conference being delayed, Randy's middle son was the only family member who was able to go with him that year. When Randy had visited Salt Fork in the years prior, the only Sasquatch-related action he got was at the conference. Amy Bue is a BFRO investigator in Northeastern Ohio. Amy helps with the Ohio Bigfoot Conference, as well as Fathom Frontiers' Bigfoot Night Hikes and their Bigfoot Adventure Weekend--all at Salt Fork State Park. Alan Megargle is one half of the Cryptid/Paranormal investigative team of Fathom Frontiers and has been investigating reports of the strange and unusual with his research partner Jesse Morgan for the last 7 years. The Fathom Frontiers team works out of the Cleveland, Ohio area and often teams up with some of the top investigators in the state.
